Casual, subdued Japanese eatery offering sushi, sashimi, noodle bowls & meat entrees.
Just WOW!!! Incredible food and service!!! From presentation to taste. Hands down. We have always wanted to visit, but kinda far for us. We finally decided to go, and it was worth the 1 hour drive. Absolutely delicious!! All the fish are super fresh. They also have a huge Japanese craft beer selection. Must try and can't wait to go back!!

Very fresh, delicious sushi. There is a changing menu of daily specials, some of which are flown in from Japan. Some of the dishes are unusual and difficult to find elsewhere. The regular menu has a nice variety, too, including bargain lunch specials and ramen as well as rolls. We've seen chefs from other Japanese restaurants eating here!

Great ramen and staff! But don't get takeout sushi here, their portions are microscopic! $25 for 2 rolls which ended up being essentially 6 roll pieces (not even 1 full roll in weight) cut in half to deceive you into thinking you're getting 12. $25 for 2/3 of a roll is pretty terrible.

Every time we visit Was Sushi we are always blown away. Their specials menu always has delicious items and you cannot go wrong with their regular menu. Tonight we had 2 items on their specials menu : the toro temaki & the belt fish nigiri , both were 10/10. The restaurant itself has great staff, always friendly and willing to help. Lastly they have s great variety of sake. Seriously this place is amazing.

This unassuming place is a true diamond in the rough. We simply couldn't get enough. Usually I have to pick and choose from the menu, but here you could throw a dart at the menu and rest assured it would be outstanding.

Won’t be back. Had 2 recent take out visits that were unsatisfactory. First, both times, I waited well past the time stated the food would be ready (20+ minutes); Next, 2 miso soups ($8,) consisted of the smallest styrofoam container you can picture, couldn’t have been 8 ounces with 1 shred of seaweed and 1 bit of tofu. Then, the rolls (2 @$18 each) were tasteless, the sauce on the side instead of on the roll which was visually unappealing and the tuna was not pink but on its way to brown. The other roll $15, had tempura in it that was not crunchy and was similarly tasteless. Definitely not worth the high price, which I don’t mind paying for good sushi but my son remarked he likes the basic rolls we get from Sprouts better, to give you an idea. I’ll stick with Kumbu on Aloma, from now on, the sushi is far, far better.

Tucked into a small space in a nondescript strip mall, this intimate sushi restaurant has everything a Japanese food fan could want. Impeccably fresh fish, a diverse menu, homemade wasabi, interesting sake selection, kind service, welcoming chefs, reasonable prices. We’ll be back to try the noodle dishes and to order more sashimi and nigiri

Went to have lunch right at opening time. Food took quite a bit to come out (I ordered miso ramen), and when it finally made it to the table it wasn’t as hot as one would expect it to be. Broth was overly salty.
Most likely will not return.

I really enjoyed the food here. We came in kinda late on a Friday night so it wasn't really busy. Got sat right away and got to play a fun dice game where I won a free drink. It's kinda pricey ngl. It's so good though, the quality is great. It was so good that after eating, I ordered a bit more. All the cuts of fish are delicious and the rice was seasoned just right. The negitoro hand roll was amazing. I also like that they fry the shrimp head for you when you get the sweet shrimp nigiri.

Waited 25 minutes for a waiter/waitress. Mentioned it to the host and was told they were busy he bought water. Even after complaining never saw the waiter/waitress. The food and service is usually very good but I will never go back because of how they failed to basically acknowledge me.

This socks. Food bang average. Over an hour to wait for rolls. Service disappears. Focus is on Ubereats orders not diners. They mug diners off as stooges. Don't go.

Edit: I originally wrote a glowing review of this place a couple years back, but sadly, I have to update this review with a new score. I picked up a $100 pickup order with 3 sushi rolls, ramen, and 2 gyoza on 12/26/24. When I went to pick up the food, it took several minutes to just be acknowledged by the host so I could pick up my food.
When I got home, my wife and I were surprised to find the most bland sushi rolls with an overabundance of rice vinegar in the sushi rice. It was, quite possibly, the worst sushi I’ve had in several years. Publix sushi is more flavorful and fresh tasting than what we were given that night. I’m beyond disappointed in this place, what used to be an incredible experience has succumbed to price gouging and a sharp decline in quality. The ramen was decent but the miso base was overly salted and lacked any spice.
Save yourself the trouble and go to Boku or Sakari instead.
My wife and I love trying new restaurants and have yet to find a solid Sushi/Ramen joint. WA SUSHI might not be flashly like Kabooki Sushi or Kadence, but it more than makes up for it by the quality of the food and the menu. The selections are plentiful but the menu isn't overbearing with possibilities. Every item that my wife and I tried burst with flavor, especially the octopus fritters 🐙 I cannot wait to come back to this place and sample more of the diverse menu. The Uni is a solid choice and well worth it if available. I'd like to lastly add the service is friendly and inviting, this extends from front of house to the back of house with the Sushi chefs, everyone is friendly.

We were there for a generous sale of Toro nigiri, and unfortunately after waiting for 40 minutes due to the popularity of it they ran out before we were seated. I was pretty disappointed, but upon seeing my feedback the management reached out to me and offered a very reasonable resolution. I look forward to reviewing this restaurant in the future

10/2024:
They have moved to a new location as of 2022. While still pretty inside, I feel the business has changed in some significant way, it doesn't feel like the same restaurant. Server was friendly, sushiya-san less so. Presentation was great, but taste was just ok, not amazing at all. Nigiri was pretty small, trimmed. Rice wasn't warm or vinegared enough for me. Even hamachi, usually my favorite, didn't taste as good as most other places. Sushi just wasn't mouthwatering and satisfying. The tamago looks prepackaged, not made in-house. Quality is better than Publix... That's about the best I can give them. The scallop was the only piece I genuinely enjoyed. Is their supplier different I wonder? Miso soup was definitely packaged, not made in house. Menu offerings seemed limited compared to before. And it is of course even more expensive now. It feels very much like they cut back on quality and yet raised prices compared to their old location. Even though everything is more expensive these days, I feel you're really not getting your money's worth here anymore...
2018:
Very fresh and delicious. Likely some authentic Japanese ownership / influence. Some unique dishes. Tsukemono is traditional and rarely seen in the states. Agedashi, etc. Some special seasonal import fish. Ramen is legit as well. In general, not cheap - you'll spend $25 a person easily. Though there are some cheaper, simpler filler rolls.

Just had a wonderful meal at WA Sushi today. I’ve heard about it in passing and have been wanting to try it for months…I finally got the chance today. Started with matcha beer out of Kyoto which was really good and surprisingly bright green. My wife and I shared some short ribs and each had a miso soup. We had several rolls and some Japanese pickles. I also indulged in some item off their specials…a slice of wagyu nigiri and some uni.
The service was overall attentive and friendly (although it took awhile to get seated and for someone to arrive at our table, but everything was good after that).
The plaza it is in is a trip, but at least there’s plenty of parking. The restaurant inside is very attractive and comfortable.
We’ll be back and I can’t wait.

Review updated 11/12/24:
Wa Sushi is my most favorite Japanese restaurant in Florida so far. The Ninja appetizer is a must try foodies out there!
The following is a list of the food I have tasted or ordered from my past visits at Wa Sushi.
1. Ninja - It's my favorite appetizer that I do not want to share with anyone.
2. Corina Roll
3. Futomaki Roll
4. Fuji Roll
5. Nabeyaki Udon - udon cooked to a perfect balance of chewiness and softness with a well balanced flavored broth that brings back my memories of eating noodle soups back in Tokyo, Japan.
6. Naruto Roll - I hardly eat raw fish but have come to love Naruto Roll. It's the only roll with raw fish I would eat because it looks so pretty and I like how the fish is wrapped with cucumber instead of of sushi rice.
7. Dobin Mushi: A traditional Japanese savory broth, steamed and served in a dobin tea pot with shrimp, chicken, anago, and shiitake mushroom. $12 - Okay, it reminds me of my homemade broths at home and for the price of $12 for a bowl of broth and a few pieces of solids that fits in a tiny teapot the size of those stainless steel rice bowl you get at the the Korean restaurants is a bit pricey. Nothing really stands out but I was curious so I had to try it. It's not bad, just reminds me of my homemade food at home.
8. Niki Udon: Thinly sliced beef simmered in a sweet soy sauce over a bowl of udon noodle soup. $17. The type of beef cut is called "thịt bò nạm" in Vietnamese. I don't know what you call it in English. My daughter doesn't like this particular beef cut for its chewiness. I am not much a fan of it but the udon noodle texture was cooked just right and the broth has a well balanced flavor.
9. Shrimp Tempura Roll - daughter likes it.
10. Grilled Shishito peppers - I grow my own Shishito peppers now so I can save money from not ordering this addicting sweet crispy peppers again. 😂
11. Ninja - Spicy tunal, Shiso and squid rolled with norinthen tempura fried. Topped with chili oil, eel sauce, masago, scallion and sesame seed. $16 Love it! It was well worth every dollar. I like how it's deep fried with a crispy outer texture without letting the oil penetrate or seeped into the food. My perfect kind of crispy fried texture.
12. Banana Tempura with ice cream - It's a big portion compared to other fried banana tempura served at other Japanese restaurants. Delicious! The tempura was crispy and what's most important about a good fried banana tempura is that the bananas used are ripen with a perfect sweetness, or else it would be bland if bananas hadn't ripen yet.
13. My friend ordered some kind of curry and the meat was so tender and flavorful. The curry tastes like my homemade curry so I won't be ordering anything that reminds me of my own cooking. It beats the purpose of eating out for me.
Con:
The only item I do NOT recommend wasting money ordering is the kids chicken teriyaki meal. I ordered it once for my son. He took a bite and spit it out faster than lightning speed. He said it (the chicken breast meat) tasted tender but in a very weird way. It doesn't taste like chicken. I took a bite of the chicken breast and had to spit it out too. The teriyaki sauce was bleh and the white chicken meat texture was rubbery gelatin texture. Not sure what they did to the meat to make it "tender in a weird way". Luckily, I was able to soak the white meat chicken into a cup of water and took it home to add to my compost bin instead of trashing the meat. It was fancy compost then.

Amazing sushi! The bluefin tuna (which I haven't had since I was Japan many years ago) was perfectly prepared, and we tried monkfish liver for the first time - so unctuous and flavorful while remaining delicate. Absolutely fantastic! Prices are barely higher than average, but at Wa Sushi the quality of their seafood, the attention to detail in the presentation of food and drink (LOVED the way the sake was served in the little box), and the service is soooo much better and worthy of the cost.

We called them back this morning and they processed our refund. They handled it much better today. We gave them another try (this time dining in), and had a great experience. OveralI I'm not sure I can recommend to go, but the atmosphere and food quality make this place worth a visit for dine in.
Old Review:
Gave us the wrong order for pickup and offered a "discount on our next order" rather than trying to actually fix the problem. 4 specialty rolls turned into 2 salads and 3 normal rolls. When we said we wanted the food we actually ordered or our money back, we were told they couldn't do that as the food already left the building, and we instead have to go through doordash. I picked up the order from you in your own establishment. This isn't a doordash issue. This is a you issue.

We went Friday night at 745pm and their pickup service when you order to pickup is terrible. Service as well.
I went to get my pickup order and it took almost 10 mins to be helped.
Then I get my order and get home to not have 2 sushi rolls we ordered.
So my wife had to go back and get the sushi rolls and the food wasn't even ready! So she had to leave and get snacks because she was so hungry while she waited again for her food after waiting 35 mins to get the wrong order.
My wife said when she got there, no one helped her and she also waited 10 mins and eventually walked back to the sushi area and asked for her missing food. Then one of the sushi rolls says it's drizzles with eel sauce and it didn't have it! She loves eel sauce!
The Miso soup is OK and very tiny. Basically 4 gulps for $4. Ridiculous. The rolls were also tiny.
Then after all this headache, she got nothing out of it. Not even offered something free or some return for wasting our time. I couldn't even eat dinner with my wife.
While she was there waiting for the roll to get ready the guy found them in the back! Them been ready after she waited for them.
Unorganized and unprofessional. I wanted to like the place because the ramen was good but the 1st impression of this place was so bad that my wife would never want to go back.

Hole in the wall, windows closed off, thought I missed it. Came in it was modern, chic, clean, and they have GOOD cuts. No more expensive than anywhere else, probably a couple bucks cheaper for what you get. Glad I stopped in, would love to come back in a heartbeat. Definitely a modern clean theme, good food and service. Can’t ask for more than that.

We found this place on Reddit and decided to make the drive from Sanford. WOW, was it worth it!! From the service to the quiet, calm atmosphere and beautiful presentation of the food, everything at Wa was superb. Our server was attentive and answered all of our questions. We ended up opting for two rolls and the Grand Nigiri Moriawase. Every single piece of nagiri was exquisite, but we especially loved the scallop. The rolls were perfectly made, and I really appreciated how the pieces weren’t so gigantic that it’s hard to eat. Another detail is that the salad dressing is made in house, and Wa’s miso soup is probably the best I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed some fried cheesecake for dessert, which was a huge portion! Wa is now added to our “favorites” list, and we will definitely be back!

WA is a fantastic little place, a gourmet hole-in-the-wall. You have to try the butter shiitake mushrooms, they’re fantastic. We also tried the scallop carpaccio with yuzu sauce special which was delicious. My boyfriend got the 16-piece sashimi moriawase and raved about it the whole time. I got the ribeye with wasabi sauce and wow, it will clear your sinuses—but the beef was cooked perfectly! I also got the green tea with toasted rice and it was delightful. You can really taste the nuttiness of the rice and it compliments the green tea perfectly.
I’m convinced this place is owned/operated by actual Japanese people or at least people passionate about Japanese cuisine because there are some menu items that you don’t see at your typical sushi place but are very traditional. They make their own wasabi! Every ingredient is quality and so fresh.
It’s WA-some 😎

The sushi chefs are amazing. Hard workers, making beautiful displays of sushi art. We always usually have great experiences when visiting Wa Sushi. But I had a terrible experience of service today from our server unfortunately. She was preoccupied with talking with another table about playing instruments and meeting up and watching a movie with them that several instances I had to wait long periods to order or get a refill of something. Their conversations lasted 5 to 6 minutes on average before she would notice my agitation. In fact, the table payed for their meal and continued talking with server. Meanwhile, it was pretty busy in the restaurant. They never introduced themselves. It just really soiled the vibes and atmosphere. The other servers were doing great and the sushi chefs were working hard as well. I will return, I just hope next time won't be like tonight.

The little boy who works in the front named Harrison was very disrespectful. I’ve been a loyal customer to wa sushi since before the pandemic and the relocation and NEVER have I came across any issues. He was VERY unprofessional and lacked communication with me when relating details on my order I was waiting for. Him being the first face and the person to interact with needs to be reconsidered and possible have him work in the back. Never had an issue in the years I been coming here.

I had been recommended to try this place, and it looks like it has received positive reviews. The atmosphere was very nice - the place is cozy and had piano music playing though the speakers. The servers were polite. They had a good selection of ported drinks and the menu appeared well-rounded.
The food however, was just okay. The fish tasted warm, dry, and funky. The rice was slightly crunchy. The soy sauce tasted old...? It felt like it cost more than it should, especially given the wait for each of my rolls and the overall quality. I had three rolls and couldn't finish the third.
I'm bummed that I didn't like it, because this place is one of my friend's favorite sushi joints. But something was definitely off. Maybe it was a fluke, but consistency is important right.

We are having a birthday party in a couple of weeks and the honoree wants sushi. I had not eaten here but heard it was good so thought I would give it a try to see if this is where we want to have our party of 15 people. So I walk in tonight, alone and hungry. The place is 3/4 empty. I asked to sit at a 4 top in the corner. The host immediately says “No, we save those for large parties”. lol they were closing in 45 minutes and there were easily 13 four tops open. Were they expecting a rush of large parties? So, of course I turned around and left. They lost my business tonight, lost the business for our large party in two weeks and lost it forever. I will never understand when restaurants think this way. Why would you turn away a person who is standing right there, right now, wanting to give your there money and their business. But you somehow think you should refuse their request so you can hold a table for a large phantom party that will most likely never appear (especially on a Tuesday night 45 minutes from closing). What an idiotic decision.

Wow I can't believe I have passed this place for years! Absolutely a hole in the wall hidden gem in casselberry. Small and cozy. Dimly lit. Relaxing ambiance. It was fairly quiet when we went but not crowded at all. They seem to have daily specials that rotate to keep things fresh. What really sets this restaurant above the other sushi spots is their selection! They have a wide variety of fish to choose from. This is absolutely a sashimi and nigiri lover spot. They do offer omakase too! Me and my friend got 3 starters. Raw wasabi octopus, super fresh. Beautiful balanced wasabi flavor. And I got the jalapeno hamachi. It was topped with caviar cilantro and ponzu. It was delicious I had a hard time taking it slow and savoring it. And the shitake sauteed in butter. Such a simple flavor but they were really good mushrooms. We did 3 rolls. Samurai, futomaki and a spicy tuna roll. Their spicy tuna roll was easily the top 3 best I've ever had. So fresh and clean tasting. You could definitely notice the tuna quality shine through which really impressed us for something so "simple"
The futomaki was good, but there might have been TOO much going on. And despite all that was in there. The only flavor that shines through was crab oddly enough. If you love crab flavor you will enjoy it. Then the samurai topped with tempura eel and tuna inside. Very fresh tasty.
Our server was Emma and she was wonderful! Super attentive and very helpful with any questions and recommendations we might have had. We picked almost all her recommendations and all of them were excellent.
Glad I know about this spot now and I can't wait to come back!

Pretty good sushi and Japanese kitchen dishes, but nothing mind blowing. The fish quality is good and tastes fresh, and they have all the typical options plus some specials. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable/a little high for the location. I'd probably try the ramen if I come here again.
Edit: Spicy Miso Ramen has some of the best chili paste I've ever had in a ramen! The chili paste is very garlicky and similar to a Chinese chili paste. The Ninja is also a great appetizer.

Ordered one roll to go, to try it out. Took longer than quoted, which wouldn't normally be an issue, but in this case I did explain when ordering that i was in a rush. Either way, I made my next (important) appointment in the nick of time (yeah, I know you are getting nervous for me when reading this 😜).
Food quality/taste was pretty good, though I've had better at higher end restaurants. Size was noticeably small though. Pricing was really high, so not complaining about value... just if I had known what to expect, I would've got a second item.

We’ve been here twice now and everything we’ve tried has been top notch. The hot dishes to the sushi is all super fresh and perfectly prepared. They also have a great menu of Japanese wines and beers.

We want to still be able to walk in the door, but have to report this is our place - out of everything in the Orlando Metro area (they could easily clean up in NYC as well) - THIS is the place for sushi and ramen.
Ramen location opening in Nov - good things deserve to expand, but also retain the quality the exude on every experience. 3 years for us 💗

Came here on a week day, pick-up, lunch. I decided to go because a friend said it was great. My experience may be a one off but I would not recommend coming here. No pick up/take out area so I had to wait for the hostess, which is who you order your pick-up order with. Food came out in a decent timely manner. I ordered a sushi roll and the lunch bento box which is was filled with filler (ex. rice, pork gyoza, California roll, protein of choice) then choice of miso soup or salad. I had plastic wrap in my sushi (first time ever). Hostess/pick up order person was able and gave me my food when ready. Atmosphere of the restaurant is modernly decorated and dark, if I was on a third date then this would be a good place on atmosphere.

I had the literal best meal of my life at Wa. I ordered a platter of a la carte sushi and their variety was phenomenal. I am a shellfish aficionado and their selection was incredible. Their fish was superb, and they had true belly toro which just melted in your mouth. I cannot recommend Wa enough. And while not cheap- for what I got- the price was more than fair. And my server was an absolute delight.

Wa Sushi? I say WOW! Sushi. What a great place found by accident. Sashimi salad, Udon soup, dragon roll. Green tea and a fine Japanese beer. All superior. Excellent service and a proper sushi bar atmosphere. Cool and calm.

I think the management is changed. I called to place an order to be picked up. She said it would take 20-25 minutes but give it 30 minutes just to be sure. I showed up at 45 minutes later to pick up order and they still didn’t work on my order yet. I still had to wait for another 15 more minutes. So it became an hour not 30 minutes as she stated. Food was undercooked. Someone ordered after I did and got their order before mine. It took an hour to get 4 sushi rolls even though they mentioned it took 30 minutes. That’s unacceptable. I asked waitress to talk with a manager. She said there’s no manager here. Then I mentioned I would speak to whoever in charge or the owner. She said there is no one in charge here (no wonder it’s so chaotic) and wouldn’t let me talk to co-owner

Went there today for our first time, not impress with place, service or food.
Sushi presentation was very poor.
Not worth the price.

A small pocket of a shop with very good sushi
It was very busy on the inside we sat at the sushi bar the filled up soon after and got to watch all the rolls being prepared. All the chefs seemed very well adept and were quick with cutting and rolling it was pretty cool to watch honestly.
The Nigri was good sized, they add a bit of wasabi that gives a nice kick under the fish

Such a cozy little spot with delicious food. Their sushi are amazing, we've tried pretty much every kind and we're coming for more! Highly recommend it! Our server was super nice and the food came out pretty fast, too. Great place!

This is a Solid Japanese cuisine sushi shop. No ifs, ands, or buts. No nonsense, and they are extremely good. Their prices are fair, and the quality is outstanding. They offer lunch menu, dinner menu, and occasional specials. They are one of the only Japanese restaurants in Orlando to offer traditional Japanese dishes without major American influences IMO. I thoroughly enjoyed their selection of Japanese beer and sake.
Some critiques include I feel thier A5 Wagyu Sashimi is a little pricey for the size. It does taste fabulous, but the portion is a bit too small. I also thought their sake cup special was also smidge to small on the portion size. (Maybe I am too used to American Cup Sizes)
Their sushi is fresh, and I like their donburi bowls. They offer diverse and clever sushi rolls that are sure to satisfy any palate. They have many more dishes that I can't wait to try. I thoroughly enjoyed this establishment, and I will definitely be back and bring friends.

I got the wagyu nigiri which is a special , DELICIOUS, fresh & perfect as an appetizer to give you an idea of what’s the come . I ordered the inferno sushi roll and spicy salmon . Both were super fresh , and full of flavor . I’m still dreaming about them . Definitely would go back or even order take out . The place itself is small but spacious . Customer service was great . I will be going back .

Great local place. Good quality fish. I appreciate the sustainable packing of the sushi rolls together, but it makes it a bit awkward to separate the orders.

The new location is much smaller than their previous, but I personally enjoy the intimate atmosphere more.
The restaurant was also apart of the Disney Magical event last year and I hope that provides credibility to how delicious their food is.

I ordered off Uber eats... I paid $1 extra for spicy mayo and it's barely anything.
I also paid $5 for seaweed salad and it was also very skimpy.
Won't be making this mistake again.
Also the sushi was warm, which is not what you want. Just means they didn't allow to rice to cool off.

Wa Sushi is a hidden gem of Orlando and deserves more recognition.
The fish here is higher quality than other top tier sushi restaurants in Orlando. There is also a high-quality assortment of exotic seafood dishes from the specialty menu not found elsewhere. It is also very welcoming seeing the owner being very passionate about his craft and caring a lot about a good customer experience.

Been a long time customer here. I love this place and everything about it.
Best sushi in all of Central Florida, if not the entire state!
Daily specials are always fun to try and are always delicious!
My go to's are the Ika Geso, Samurai Roll, and the Toro (****ing amazing btw).
My GF loves their Nabeyaki Udon, says it's the best she has ever had from the multiple places she has eaten at.
Also, gotta love their selections of alcohol. Love that Yuzu wine when it's in season!
All in all, if you have to make a choice on where to eat and this makes it on the options list: choose Wa Sushi, there is no competition.

I don’t want to tell everyone about this hidden gem because I don’t want super long lines and waits 😝 but I absolutely LOVE this place. Favorites: agedashi tofu, salmon teriyaki, nabayaki noodles soup. Every single thing has been amazing. The flavors are deep and rich. You can taste the thoughtfulness in the chef’s cooking style. Our whole family is a huge fan, even the 2 year old. I wish there were some dry noodle options. My only complaint. I’m a huge sushi lover but I keep getting drawn to the rest of the menu when I’m there and nothing has disappointed. Will be back many times more. We picked up last night and inhaled everything. No leftovers.

This is the best sushi we have ever had. I'd like to mention that I have tasted sushi from many different spots both in Orlando and in several other states (including Philadelphia and New York), and am very excited to say that WA surpassed them all! This location really is a hidden gem (only found it on my way back from grabbing a beer from Buffalo Wild Wings) It truly is as authentic as it gets. 10/10

Small intimate restaurant. The food was very good. The first time I ordered, I got our food togo. I went back to see how the atmosphere was. I sat at the bar and was able to watch the staff making sushi (oddly satisfying and quite impressive). If you are looking to eat here I would recommend making a reservation, this place fills up quickly. Definitely give it a try.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Orlando. Always the friendliest service and amazing food. If you're craving Japanese food especially sushi come here...you won't regret it. I highly recommend starting with the Takoyaki. It's one of the best I've had. My favorite roll is the Blue Fin Roll but you can't go wrong with any of their signatures. The tempura cheesecake with red bean ice cream is a nice way to end the meal if you have room.

First time trying this amazing hole in the wall and I was just picking up my order. Now I am so excited to go back and actually sit down for a lunch or dinner there. The atmosphere as soon as I walked in was so amazing and welcoming I truly can't wait to come again. The sushi I ordered was so fresh and tasty. Safe to say I will be coming back very soon. Thank you for being my new favorite sushi spot!

Got food poisoning from here. We ordered delivery via UberEats for Valentine's Day. The sushi was good and packed decently but two days later, all 3 of us who ate the sushi now have food poisoning. Will never order from here again and recommend you do the same. We even ordered all cooked rolls to make sure it was safer to eat.

A small place tucked in a corner of a non descript Plaza can be hard to find. The sashimi was good, our chef was pleasant and our waitress knowledgeable. We ordered a small plate of sashimi that fed two. Not a large platter, more like two appetizers size. We did have two pieces of uni but everything else was standard fare. Again, the food was good but not excellent.
The shock came when the bill was $147 + tip. Since the service was good we tipped 20% making an average plate of sashimi for two $175! I have ordered 4-6 person boats at high end restaurants for less.
Also, we drank water and had no other food.
If you want good sushi/sashimi and are good with these prices you will enjoy WA Sushi.

So my opinion this is a hidden gem in Casselberry for a Sushi and Ramen date night!! It was our first time here, I wanted ramen wifey wanted sushi this was the compromise lol. Let’s get to it…the food is very good I ordered the spicy ramen extra fish rolls to start with about 4 or 5 rolls of their fresh sushi. All in all it’s a 5 out of 5 for me great atmosphere, friendly waitress, cleanliness and food. Stop in you won’t regret it I know I’ll be back.
