Endless Sushi, Hibachi & BBQ Eatery
So let me tell you how important good food is. But who cares about food when every single employee is so fantastic. Our family felt so welcomed there from the moment we stepped in the door. Thanks to everyone, to our server Cookie - amazing service, to sushi men - smiling and friendly, to the lady at the bar, at the front desk, foodrunners etc. My husband is a fan of tuna fish and his tuna plate was awesome. We would come back again.

Formally named Koizi. Now Fountain Plus. Is absolutely incredible. Me and my wife recently went for their endless sushi for our anniversary. (First time since the name change) And it was well worth the money. I'm not sure what has changed but the presentation of the food is beautiful. And quality is incredible. And the service is A+ over 5 stars. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a relaxed environment. Great tea. And amazing food. We will be back!

Amazing! We were lucky enough to get here when no one was here! The sushi was very fresh! Great portions and quick service but a relaxing atmosphere. We did the Endless Dinner. We were able to enjoy our dinner without being rushed. Everyone was ultra nice! We will definitely be back!

Food is usually very good and fresh no complaints there. Last night I wondered why the portions was so small? The waiter rung us up for two unlimited which we did not order? So they rung items up Al a carte so we paid for half portions of food. The service was awful waiter asking for drink order before we even sat down. She for got a sushi roll we never received, then they was laughing at us speaking their language very disrespectful. If you eat please watch your bill

I just came here after a long while with my freind, and unfortunately ‘everything’ I tried tasted stale and microwaved, would not recommend.
I genuinely think everything is just microwaved, but on the upside you’ll get your food quickly lol.
I remember this used to be a Koizi going bad, then this new company took over and made it worse bruh.
The food looks good and presentable, but nothing tasted good for my liking, I’m not that picky but I know when something’s not fresh atleast. The meat was too hard to and some were not even fully cooked.
Even the cooked sushi, was all cold so I guess it’s been sitting there all day.

I have waited in the chickfila line longer then I did here! The sushi was great and fresh. That's all I ordered so I can't speak on any of the other food. It used to be a koizi and they have all of the same rolls that koizi has, but added a bunch more, as well as Korean BBQ options. I was super pleased with my experience here. The service was great, my waiter was super nice. I highly recommend the KP role.

The endless hibachi and sushi here is good, for the most part. Our waiter Tiger was fun and interactive and provided great service. We had the unfortunate experience of receiving a sushi order with rotten krab on top. It was not a pleasant experience, we informed our waiter who informed the chef who would “look into it”. We are glad this dish came at the end of our meal and not the beginning or we would have left and not placed any further orders.

Out server Jose was very nice and had the biggest smile. Food was good, but we opted to not get the endless option. Update to my latest review. Recently went for the endless menu and let me tell you. we waited and waited and our food was given to another table multiple times and waited some more...btw if you get endless prepare to wait because the people that don't order endless gets served first no matter how long anyone is waiting. Won't go back sorry guys food was good when we actually got it. But the staff is nice, service was awful.

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. The sushi was completely flavorless—like eating cardboard with a hint of cold, rubbery fish. The rice was bland and mushy, lacking the vinegar kick that makes sushi enjoyable. I could hardly tell the difference between the tuna and the salmon; both were tasteless and had an awful texture.
But the worst part? The servers. They hovered over us the entire time, standing just far enough away to make you feel uncomfortable but always watching, waiting for you to take a bite so they could rush over and ask if everything was "okay." It felt like being under constant surveillance. I couldn’t relax or enjoy my meal with someone practically breathing down my neck.
Honestly, I don’t know what kind of establishment this is trying to be, but it’s neither a good sushi place nor a good dining experience. This place was a complete disaster. The sushi didn’t look appetizing, didn’t taste like anything, and the service made it feel more like a surveillance experiment than a dining experience. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I’ll be looking for sushi anywhere but here. Never coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Food was amazing. Decent selection of sushi, habachi and Korean BBQ which all tasted great! Good price too for all you can eat. Felt like our server forgot about us at times and he was difficult to track down to order more. Once we got our orders in though the food came out fairly quickly. Nice drink menu with some really good sake and Boba tea options.

Food was meh. Went for lunch, spent 77 bucks for my wife and two small children charged adult price for my 9 year old daughter. Outside the lunch buffet pricing we only added a bubble tea and hot tea. One and done. Saki and other similar concepts are better.

Worst restaurant ever. If I could 0 stars I charging my 9 yr old 17 dollars and my 5 yr old 10 dollars. Plus the food is mediocre. Giving my daughter undercooked cold mozzarella sticks and having a waiter u have to chase around the restaurant just to get a cup of water. Gross overpriced bs place that rips u off and charges kids adult prices. Stay far away.

Waitress was great, food not so much :/
The hibachi is inedible. The vegetables were rotten and stale. The steak lacked flavor and was definitely microwaved. The noodles had such an odd flavor it was not good. The sushi was good, but not worth the endless price when the rest of the food lacks quality. We had to tell the waitress the food was not edible and we left. Not worth $40 never again.

Very disappointed. Our waiter was very nice but was only his 3rd day. Took over an hour to get our first “round” of food. Every one other than our waiter was rude. The drinks were absolutely disgusting. Had high hopes but was very disappointed. I genuinely hope they do better because the restaurant is beautiful.

Went inside to place my order for the hibachi vegetables. The food was fine, but the man who gave me my order was rude and didn't even acknowledge me, saying thank you for my order. At first, I thought he didn't hear me, so I said it louder, and he still didn't respond, but he heard me when I asked for soy sauce. Never again, I don't pay to have someone be nasty for no reason at all. Kindness costs absolutely nothing.

Not recommend if you're a dedicated gastric patient. I can't eat here with my family as they will charge me the endless price to consume only the crab rangoon or a sushi roll and even more for what I can not eat. My daughter enjoys the philly roll for what it is worth and if you're a big eater then eat your money's worth. They don't want to or care about your situation so I just sit and watch others eat around me but from here on out we will take our business elsewhere because I enjoy sushi but obviously you can't accommodate me here besides stealing from me. Waitress didn't even offer me a beverage.

HORRIBLE FOOD!!! Server and management were extremely rude! Food is NOT worth it for their high prices.
Visited 4 months ago
Ever since they went from "Koizi" to Fountain Plus, service and food has gone to CRAP!
Their hibachi with NY Steak is NOT NY steak looks like cheap meat and is chewy. Raising prices and not investing in food quality.
Also charging depending kids height is INSANE. My kids are under ten and really tall. Charging my 9 yrs old $27 when he's only going to have a soup and 1 sushi roll is NOT WORTH IT.
Do not recommend!

Usually we love this place, food is great, some of my favorite sushi! But the service has been horrible recently, tonight we left very uncomfortable as our server made multiple comments about us "ordering too much" and saying "oh wow that's a lot, can you eat all of that?" .. which is just unprofessional and rude. Dinner is $26 per person for endless buffet so we definitely order all we can while we sit for 2 hours, and we did finish our food. But ther unnecessary fat shaming comments from our server was ridiculous

I went today for dinner about 2 hrs ago. Ordered for the All you can eat menu. Food is always great. Servers are usually always fantastic. I have never had an issue til today. Our waiter was HORRIBLE. Orders were continously wrong and when we told him we didn't order that he acted like we were lying. I after the 1st wrong order given to us I wouldn't accept anymore because as you know we get charged for the food we don't eat because they consider that wasteful so I was not accepting food for it to go to waste. After the 3rd wrong order sent back he stormed off upset. Rarely checked on us. Didn't refill our water until the end and looked annoyed at everything. My daughter asked him for an order of just Mongolian Beef and he looked at her like if she said something out of the norm. We were all confused as to why he was so confused. She said, i do not want a side of veggies, no side of rice, no side of noodles..just the Beef..after a few seconds of confusion he said ok. At the end my son asked for a Mango Sorbet. He said ok vanilla ice cream..my son had to say no..no one said Vanilla ice cream..I asked for a Mango Sorbet. He said oh. My son had to repeat the whole order to make sure he didn't mess it up again.
It was THE WORSE experience. Even my kids were upset with the service. Thankfully we have all been there many times and know this isn't the norm but they either need to re-train him or put him in the back because being a server isn't his strong suit. I didn't get his name because he didn't even introduce himself & give us his name as all servers usually do. He went straight into taking our orders the minute we were seated.
The receipt said Jasmine but I doubt his name was Jasmine. I have NEVER had such horrible service. He was lucky I left him a small tip. He didn't deserve any tip at all. Food is important but so is the service you receive. Bad service will cause a loss in customers. Hopefully the owners address this with the server because I'm sure our table wasn't the only table that received such bad service.

It's my first time with family coming here after reading reviews. The first impression is the greeting from the staff, amiable and welcoming. I chose the hibachi table; our Teppanyaki chef was fun and relaxed the dining. The food was better compared with other all-you-can-eat sushi places. There is no limit on the items on the menu, I can request the same disk more than 1 time. I will come back again.

Went for the lunch endless sushi with a friend. Hostess, waitress and sushi makers were very nice and welcoming. We both ordered shrimp Hibachi which was very bland. Waitress suggested adding yum yum sauce instead on taking it back like I asked. She even brought out more teriyaki sauce. Sushi was mediocre. Finally received spring rolls and miso soup right before asking for the check which we forgot we ordered because it took so long to come out. Drinks were horrible (Mai Tai and Sex on the Beach) we didn't even drink half of either. Needless to say, we'll NEVER visit this location again. Sushi Yama is 1000% better

My friends and I ate at this place a couple of hours ago. Another friend and I met up with the 2 others who had already gotten seats for us. I only ordered one dish (the General Tso Chicken) which was $9.99 and a drink which was $6. My friends all ordered the endless sushi. When we received our separate bills, I was surprised to see that I was charged for the endless sushi which was $27 plus my drink. I told our waitress (Wendy, an older Asian lady) that I only ordered one dish and the drink that was supposed to come out to $16, NOT $35. She informed me that when my friends sat down she told them that all of us had to pay for the endless sushi and that my bill couldn’t be changed even if I did not partake in the endless sushi. When I asked my friend if this was true, she said that the waitress never told her this. I ended up paying for over double what I had ordered. The waitress was very rude and wasn’t budging at all.
The dish I ate was mediocre and was given only small portion. The boba drink I ordered was not good either.
This place makes a practice out of scamming people who do not participate in their ‘endless sushi’ deal. I didn’t realize this until I read other reviews where they did the same exact thing.
I’m never patronizing this establishment again. This place doesn’t deserve even one star.

Usually I like eating at this restaurant and I considered it my favorite. I always bring my family here for special occasions. I came here on my birthday today to eat, because I've had good experiences here beforea and the food is good. I came with my grandmother and my son.
Here's where everything went wrong
When we are seated and the waitress comes to take our orders for drinks and food, I explicitly state we are ordering A La Carte, not endless dinner, because my son and grandmother would only be getting one thing each. I order my son the mini burger, and when ordering I ask if it comes with cheese, the waitress says yes it does. When the burger comes out it does not have cheese, when the waitress finally comes back around I show her the burger and explain there's no cheese on it, she apologizes and says she will bring cheese out. She never brought any cheese out the whole rest of the time we were there. Now I have to take the burger home and put our own cheese on it for my son.
Then we get the bill, my grandmother offers to pay since it is my birthday. In the car she tells me how much the bill was. They charged us $75, they charged everyone at the table for endless dinner even though I explicitly stated we are ordering A La Carte. I only ordered $25 worth of sushi, my grandmother a $17 hibachi, and my son $10 worth of the burger, side of fries, and sprite. My grandmother and I both got water. Bill should have only been $50-60. And my grandmother still tipped the waitress $15. So we we were overcharged and my son didn't even get the cheese on his burger.
I don't think we will be coming back again to spend any more money here.

Nice and cool temp throughout. Booths can be too close to tables, luckily, plenty of tables with chairs. Food and menu constantly changing but plentiful none the less. Keep an eye on what you've ordered though they don't always get it right if they get all of it at all, which can make you feel like you're nagging unnecessarily.

If I could eat here every day, I definitely would. Service is great. They're always very attentive and fast bringing food. A really interesting place with really good service. The unfortunate part of this place was the food. First off, waitress was great and everyone was overly polite but I personally enjoy that type of service.
To put it mildly, the food ranged from quite terrible, to actually alright to eat. For reference, we did the lunch special. (17.95 per person if I recall correctly)
Highlights were the miso soup, California Roll, fried Oreos, and fried dough.
The downsides were virtually the rest of the menu. It was quite mediocre food. My spicy salmon, alaskan, dynamite, and dancing krab roll were quite "eh". The worst of them was the dynamite roll. The chicken, ny strip steak, and mongolian beef was quite bad. It was barely warm and the steak was mostly just fat. You had to eat around each piece and spit out the fatty part because it was just unrendered.
I don't know who came first, but the all you can eat model and menu was almost 100% exactly like Koizi, another all you can eat sushi place in North Tampa. I hated to keep comparing the two but my girlfriend and I kept doing so. We noticed that virtually every thing that we tried (minus the 4 highlighted items) were just worse off from a taste, texture, and presentation perspective.
My girlfriend and I drive to Koizi probably twice a month, and that is a 30 minute drive for us. We wanted to try a place much more local. But when it's 4 dollars more per person and the food is substantially worse off, you have to question the place, and we most definitely did. Koizi is only $13.95 per person for lunch, and delivers a worse customer experience, yet makes it up heavily with its fantastic food.
I unfortunately think I cannot eat at this place again. My girlfriend really disliked the place and I found it overall quite lukewarm. I hope they improve their food because it'll be a great addition to the All You Can Eat Sushi places in the Tampa/Brandon/Riverview area!

This place blew away all expectations, I've been here before when it was under a different name and wasn't that Impressed. Fountain Blue hit a home run with us. The value is great the Shashimi cuts are huge, the Sexy girl roll was amazing the Christmas tree roll was fantastic, the tuna tataki was just as big and thick as the Shashimi. Everything had a distinct flavor and pallet behind it. I feel like with endless sushi sometimes the flavors get lost in the mix of mass production. That was not the case with this place. We knew which roll was which. The fried dynamite roll had the lightest and crispiest batter I think I've ever had. The chicken hibachi was cooked to perfection and the rice couldn't be any stickier. We grabbed the pineapple coconut ice cream with the fries dough rolls and it tasted better then the state fair fried dough. This place doesn't miss a beat. I'm happy we got to experience this place with Angelina she was attentive and helpful , she made the experience even better. 10/10 would recommend.
TLDR: get the fried dough and ice cream at the end!

Long review....
👍 We were greeted (4 of us) quickly and warmly and seated at a nice clean booth.
👍Drink orders taken quickly and received quickly.
👎Took about 20 mins for waitresses to take food orders.
👍Waitresses very nice, polite and efficient (but should be encouraged to SMILE... at least once)
👎Took another 20-30 mins for food to come. Everyone's food came out at different times.
👍We all ordered the All you can eat $21.99
( they "encourage" everyone in your party to order al la carte or the special... So we did)
👍Each person can order 4 things at a time from all items (scallops & lobster items aren't included)
👍They have a huge choice of sushi! (my reason for choosing Koizi) C'mon now you can't beat an all u can eat sushi for $21.99!
👍 They are full sushi rolls 8-10 pieces...not what you'd expect on an all you can eat menu. All the rolls I had were fresh and yummy... And trust me I had quite a few!
*Stingy on the wasabi and no pickled ginger...just thought I'd mention that lol*
👎 Unfortunately a couple of my sisters ran into a couple sushi rolls that didn't taste exactly "fresh" (dragon roll for one) looked delicious but...uhh. General Tso chicken was a lil bland, not spicy AT ALL as it should have been, but the noodles that came with were good. And the crab Rangoon was good... just tiny.
👍ALL IN ALL A NICE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE SO THAT I CAN SAY WE MAY VISIT AGAIN SOON AND I DO RECOMMEND IT IF YOU'RE A SUSHI LOVER. (I'll just have my adult drink later somewhere else bc though the drinks were a nice size they were lacking... especially for $10 a pop)
Apparently the name has changed since I wrote this review)

I started going here when it was named Kozi, but once the name changed, so did the food. It wasn't as good anymore and we had issueswiththeservice. However, after a long time away, about a year, I returned to give it another try, and I'm glad I did. The food this time was excellent and fresh. The rolls were put together nicely and held together. The nigiri was fresh tasting and melted in your mouth. The service was much improved too. I'm going to try it again, because I need more sushi places to go too.

This is a good-sized restaurant for any size party. They revamped their menu, adding some additional choices. The food is good for what it is. It is a versatile restaurant that allows you to do an all you can eat option to simply order off the menu option. The quality of food ingredients is good. My girlfriend and I both decided to go for the all you can eat option. You are able to pick any 4 items off the menu, and they bring you a small portion of that item. Brilliant!!! We are able to try new dishes without wasting food. If we like what we ordered, we can get more of it. Now, if we didn't like something, no big deal, only a small amount of waste. We tried several dishes, and overall, they all tasted good. They also have a huge sushi selection as part of that all you can eat option. I completely forgot to mention that in the beginning. I personally don't eat sushi, but my girlfriend is a huge fan of it and got her feedback on it. She was completely delighted with all the different offerings of sushi. Everything she tried was a hit. Her favorites were the Sexy girl and Rock n Roll. Overall, it is a good place to experiment and enjoy some good food. Great for large parties and a little of something foodwise for all types of eaters. The only issue we had was the service times it takes for food to come out. I don't think it was the kitchen itself, but the server just not keeping up with food ordering and drinks. Both issues we had, I believe, were the server not paying attention, leaving us waiting to order our next choices and thirsty. We will definitely be back here again in the near future. Wait!!!!! When you go, try the crab taco it was a brilliant treat. Hint it is made with what appears to be Pringles
Interesting right?! Interesting yet, yummy! 😋

Been here 3+ times and it never fails to disappoint! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The food is also delicious and fast! I recommend gyoza and crab rangoon appetizers, prime rib or chicken Korean bbq, Hokkaido and Rainbow rolls, all sashimis are great choices, and a cheesecake for dessert. Will be back much more!

Amazing! We were lucky enough to get here when no one was here! The sushi was very fresh! Great portions and quick service but a relaxing atmosphere. We did the Endless Dinner. We were able to enjoy our dinner without being rushed. Everyone was ultra nice! We will definitely be back!

I have been to this place many many times and never had any issues until we tried the live Hibachi feature, the chef was very inappropriate and if i hadn't already been here i would have never returned. But the food and service is typically good.
so just a tip... Skip the live Hibachi

Love it! I read a lot of bad reviews about this restaurant due to ownership changes so I was hesitant to try it out, but my experience was a great one! I was seated fast, my server was really fast bringing everything to me as requested, and everything came out steaming hot or cold and fresh as ordered. My server also went above and beyond explaining menu options and descriptions. Very patient, polite and friendly. Great place!

We have been here before when it was under a different name and we were very disappointed with the food and quality that we received. They have really changed a lot, besides changing the name. The food is fresh and tastes so much better. The service is phenomenal a complete 180. They offer boba tea now, which is really delicious. The atmosphere is still a little dark and drab, but the food and service is where it's at. We will definitely be coming back for lunch and dinners.

This is long. Get ready... I went here solely for hibachi. I DID NOT WANT ENDLESS. So... I went with my dad for lunch. I ordered hibachi and my dad did the endless sushi. I DO NOT EAT SUSHI. I am allergic to shell fish. I order my meal and tell the waiter I want one serving not endless. My dad orders endless sushi. I receive my meal. He received his sushi. He had quite a few plates of sushi. I did not finish my meal it was so bad. Rice was hard, tasteless and gross. The steak was like scraps. Horrible texture and flavor. Noodles were bland and undercooked. I never complained about the food just chose not to eat it. Our bill comes. I was charged endless even though I did not finish my original plates and explicitly said I did not want sushi. I asked the server about this and they said because my dad had endless sushi I was required to pay the same price "since I probably ate off his plate". I explained I am allergic to shellfish showing my medical alert band. They still said I more than likely ate off his plate so I had to pay the full price. They also added 4 beers to the bill that we never ordered and said we did. We argued we did not order these. They eventually agree to remove them. They said if I didn't pay full price for the hibachi I DID. NOT EAT they would call the cops on me. WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL SCREAM IT FROM THE ROOFTOP FOR ALL OTHERS TO HEAR! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL!!!

First and only time going. We had a large party celebrating a birthday and they were great about getting us in last minute. The hibachi chef was fun and entertaining overall, but at times a little too inappropriate as not everyone in our party was an adult. Also, their kids menu is by the child’s height which is unfortunate for those of us blessed with tall kids.
I’ve been to many hibachi places and a couple of “all you can eat” sushi/hibachi spots, but I have never had one nickel and dime quite like this one. Their menu gives the option of endless or “a la cart”. Knowing my daughter and I have never been able to finish our plates whenever we go to hibachi, we attempted to opt for the a la cart and just get the hibachi, but they refused to allow that as an option and basically told us that we didn’t have a choice and had to have the endless due to other people in our party having endless- this was not communicated or outlined on their menu in any shape or form. Three other people in our party didn’t vocalize they were only wanting a la cart and they simply ordered their meals as they would at any restaurant. When it came time to pay, half the party was quiet and confused as to why they were charged so much when they only had chicken hibachi- the server explained to them what she explained to me when I had ordered. We asked if they could make an exception as no one was sharing food or got extras etc… they asked the manager who was quick to say no so half our party was basically forced to pay at least $10 more than what was initially expected.
Now on to the actual food:
The hibachi lacked in flavor compared to other places I’ve been and the ginger salad is a mayonnaise based ginger dressing, which I personally do not like. As for the sushi- I don’t know what they were serving, but it was not sushi- the spicy tuna was slightly sweet instead of the traditional spicy I’m accustomed to and incredibly mushy, almost like a tuna paste instead of actual tuna. Another person in our party said the spicy salmon was exactly the same. So definitely not the place to go if you are wanting decent sushi (Publix sushi is 5 stars compared to this place).
Overall, we had some laughs and weird memories for overpriced subpar hibachi and I don’t even think they can really call it “sushi”. Needless to say, but we will not go back.

Food is good but service is horrible. Went for lunch on three diffrent days and all three days it was a 15 minute wait, when less than 25% of the restaurant was full. They say they dont have enough servers. Then when I asked for a manager the lady at the front told me she was the owner and when I complaining she couldn't take 5 minutes away from the game she was playing on her phone to listen. Overall do not try to eat lunch here is you are on a normal 1 hour lunch.

UPDATE: Jan 25, 2024
Arrived and this guy was out front smoking, his clothes looked like he slept in them. Come to find out he's the host!! The smell of cigarettes made me nauseous 🤢!
Wait staff was fast and friendly. Floors and dining areas were greatly improved since my last visit. Sushi didn't come with wasabi or ginger, I guess you must ask.
Mango Chicken (says it comes with rice however it didn't) was hot, fresh and tasty.
Glad they made improvements since my last review. Should serve entrees as described on the menu. For the missing wasabi, ginger and rice (and the nasty host). Overall 2 stars. Last 2 pics are from today.
UPDATED: 3/19/22
Unclean unsanitary!! My water glass had funk on it...I could scratch it off. No veggies (except onion) unless you pay extra. I was served, sushi and the my entree before my granddaughter was served. Minimal menu!! I won't go back!!!🤢🤮

Hibachi chef was doing the worse , raunchy jokes to my girlfriend in front of our family during her birthday dinner. I had to ask the chef to stop with the jokes and he didn't apologize or anything . Nobody was laughing. We will never go back . I can't believe it . The food was good. The service has always disappointed but this time was just unacceptable. I wish they never did that. Made the whole night there unpleasant and now I will never be back. Not my family . And trust , I have told all my coworkers and everyone that likes sushi to stay AWAY if you want respect. The chef had to be drunk for the behavior was so inappropriate. Shame on him.

My boyfriend and I come here every weekend and it is our favorite low effort date night spot! We have never had any issues with staff or food and everything comes out timely. You can order as much as you want with the endless option and it’s always yummy! Highly recommend - also, the staff is always friendly & accommodating.

I love Asian food and I was so hungry and I never eat at this place. So, I walked into this kind dark place, but it was ok. So I thought, who knows it could a good food overall. So the waiter came by, but he didn’t explain anything to me right?! So he just took my order. And I’m so anxious right? Another guy brings me the food and he places it it on the other side of the table, where there was nobody. Then I had to grab the plate and put on my side. Anyways, I finished eating it. Then I ask the guys for the bill. He brings it over. I look at the bill it says $25. So I called the waiter and said: what is this? I took the menu and point it to him. He goes: oh you just want the hibachi? I said exactly. But he never took the freaking time to explained to me that they had this special called the endless plate. So he went in and got me the bill do the plate. These people do not know and they just don’t care about getting referrals from customers.
Horrible atmosphere, so dark. Horrible experience ever. They have no idea about customer service is. I don’t recommend this place.

This place is worth the trip. A bit tricky for an out-of-towner to navigate directly from TPA Airport. Program your navigation before you go to the parking garage where you can sometimes have signal problems. Take the tollway, it's apparently the fastest way.
I ate sashimi like a fattened pig. I thought I preferred the salmon until I tasted their eel and mackerel. Eat the latter lemon peel and all. And do not miss the Korean barbeque. Wow. It has that cooked close to the charcoal smokiness in just the right proportion.
The restaurant is a great value too, especially if you come hungry like I did. It's not a buffet per se, but it is all you can eat as the menu states (drinks extra). I finished with mango and coconut sorbets, scooped side by each. Service was prompt. Place was busy for a Thursday. Don't miss!

Anyone leaving a bad review is clearly just miserable in their personal life so they take it out on restaurants or any other places they go shopping because I absolutely love this place I am so very happy they are still here the name changed and I was so very sad I thought they were gone forever 😭 they survived COVID shut down so clearly they are doing something right lol I'm willing to wait as long as I have to for some fresh and delicious sushi you literally can't find anywhere else for the price and don't get me started on the ginger salad y'all I have been coming here for years don't ruin it just because you're an angry person. This place is the go to sushi and hibachi spot 💕

I have mixed feelings with my rating. The food was really good (we stuck to the various rolls). The service was...not fast...our server was polite and helpful but there was a definite lag between orders. I thought it was deliberate so as for our stomachs to have a chance to tell our brains we've had enough 😜.
Oh, and the holiday music was annoying after the first loop.

Terrible Service. I paid almost $45 (without tip) and I did all you can eat for $23 before tax and added sushi onto my bill, which I didn’t order. The waitress was being impatient, and I dissatisfied after I ate. Never coming back!

I went in here with minimum expectations but they service and food turnt out to be amazing!! I live in Wesley Chapel and I frequently go to Koizi for sushi(an amazing spot) but I can say for sure that this place is by far way better, the sushi was amazing I love how they keep it very authentic and light on the rice unlike other all you can eat sushi restaurants and the habachi was very good too with small portions of sides and decent amount of entree. Would definitely recommend for lunch as I had a great experience😊 Each to their own so hopefully you have an amazing experience as me!!

Probably the worst place I’ve ate . Everything was cold , took forever to get everything , rice was so nasty , cold/dry/no flavor/hard steak was fat . Noodles tasted like water with salt and pepper . Didn’t have any silverware and had to ask for it, server didn’t do anything but ask if food was good, no drink refills Not worth it , pay a little extra for Kobe’s !! Never in my life have I’ve ever ate at a place like this

I'm degrading my review from 5 to 3 stars. The service has degraded, as more people are coming due to the excellent price. I hope their business model is not flawed and it accommodates more employees without impacting the price- otherwise I can foresee this business closing due to not having enough customers coming back

Title: An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Fountain Diner’s Hibachi
I recently visited Fountain Diner for their hibachi and it was nothing short of spectacular. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the all-you-can-eat option, which included an impressive variety of sushi, meats, and desserts.
The quality of the food was top-notch. The sushi was fresh, expertly prepared, and offered a wide range of choices that catered to all palates. The meats were the stars of the show - perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection right before our eyes. The hibachi chefs not only displayed incredible skill in their cooking but also provided an entertaining and engaging experience.
Desserts at Fountain Diner were a delightful way to end the meal. Each option was decadent, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a place where both the main courses and the desserts are equally impressive, but Fountain Diner nailed it.
The service was another aspect that made our visit memorable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Their recommendations were spot on, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of their service.
In conclusion, Fountain Diner’s hibachi is a must-visit for anyone looking for high-quality, delicious food with great variety. The combination of mouth-watering dishes, an entertaining cooking show, and exceptional service makes it an ideal destination for both special occasions and casual dining. Highly recommended!

Tried this place for the first during a week day around dinner time. They have all you can eat sushi and hibachi. On first glance, place looked ok overall. Very very slow service. Took forever for someone to come get my order and would have to wait minutes to order more food. Had to ask for soy sauce tray twice; took over 10 mins to get one. Food is not the best quality but decent overall. Hibachi steak was not cooked well and very fatty. They didn’t even asked how I wanted it cooked. Many variety of sushi options which is good. Salmon was pretty good. Fried dough dessert is amazing. For the price, would’ve expected better service and food quality. Otherwise, decent place if you like to try all you can eat sushi.

If I could give no stars, I would. This place is horrible so please don't waste your time. The quality of sushi is disgusting and such poor quality. Where do I start?... First off they're serving imitation Krab on Pringles and trying to pass it off as tacos, using cheap ingredients for all roll combinations, and even going as far as to cheap out on their sauces. They served what was the consistency, color, taste, and smell of maple syrup as Eel sauce.
Even the people behind us were complaining and walked out after the first round of sushi came out.
This place used to have a waiting list and bustling with people trying to knock down their doors years ago... now... it was beyond empty inside with a few trash covered tables needing to be busted. We should have gotten the clue to leave when most abandoned tables still had sushi present on the plates. Save yourself the wasted calories and money.
Management should be ashamed of themselves. Poor food quality only shows how little respect they have for their own business.

This place is fantastic! The food tastes incredibly fresh, unlike many buffets where it sits under heat lamps. Their no-waste food policy is a winner, so remember to order only what you can enjoy. Thumbs up all the way! A must-visit if you're seeking a high-value dining experience.

Loved this location for years when it was Koizi, now with new ownership and new name it has definitely lost what made it great. Food comes out bland and cold. The meat they give you isn’t cooked hibachi style but just on a grill. They claim the meat is NY strip and Prime rib but they give you thinly sliced grisly meat instead. It would be one thing if the price stayed the same, unfortunately rising cost and reduced food quality have forced me to decide to not come back.

It pains me to give this a one star but sadly it’s what it deserves. Have been coming to this restaurant for over 8 years and loved it. However it has been slowly going downhill since the name change. The last time I visited, I noticed the hibachi chicken and steak were completely different in presentation, flavor and honestly the quality. When I asked the server about it she said the hibachi grille broke and they were cooking it this way until they got a new one. So I waited, went to the koizi north in temple terrace in the meantime (fantastic at that location still btw) and just visited again tonight. Unfortunately it’s worse than the last time I came here. The “hibachi” is not hibachi it’s a whole piece of streak or chicken grilled to oblivion on a regular grill then served with steamed veggies rice and noodles. There is zero flavor on any of it, gone is the meat a veggies cooked in the hibachi sauce and flavor; and in its place is dry bland chewy proteins. When I asked about if they were at some point going back to the proper hibachi way of cooking I was told not likely. Just not at all good, and false advertising it’s not hibachi food anymore. They did however add a few menu items one being the “Crabo Taco”, which the server described as imitation crab on top of a Pringle drizzled with a sauce. For obvious reasons I passed on that. If you loved the old koizi, don’t bother coming back. There is no sign of the old koizi at fountain plus. The only thing you’ll find here is higher prices and disappointment.

The concept is good but not the execution. If you have to wait 35 mins between your orders and sometimes never get your order then it’s just a waste of money
