Authentic Thai and Sushi
Okay, honesty, time, so we came here as a last-minute google search and was not totally disappointed. The location was nearby, so we gave it a try. So long story short, the food was amazing, very delicious, and tasted fresh, not to mention the food came out very quick. It is a bit on the pricey side compared to other Thai restaurants.
I would have given this place 5 stars. However, I did feel a bit rushed on ordering from such a big menu, especially after telling our server that "THIS was out first time " , she really didn't suggest anything but instead was told "il give you a few more minutes". I then ordered a steak garlic meal, which was very good, and even complimented the server as to how good it was to no response, not once but a few times. Felt like she was a bit rude, but when the bill came, all of a sudden, shes friendly. Something felt hypothetical. Nevertheless, I left a nice tip and went about my way.
Overall, food is amazing, and the atmosphere decent, price could be better, and the service could definitely be more interactive, attentive, and friendlier.

Great food. Everything here tastes amazing. My friend and I had to come back again the following day again for dinner because we loved the food so much.
The server was a lovely lady who was very helpful with making suggestions.
Donβt expect fine dining though, but it is an unpretentious, cute and quaint atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Following my cousin's enthusiastic recommendation, my friends and I ventured to Sabai Thai & Sushi in Boynton Beach to uncover this hidden gem. The moment we walked in, the cozy and charming ambiance immediately struck me. My eyes wandered to a fascinating gong in the restaurant's center, adding a unique touch to the decor.
We were promptly greeted and seated, and our server came by to take our drink orders. I opted for the Thai iced tea, a personal favorite, while my friends chose lemonade, iced tea, and another Thai iced tea. As we settled in, we perused the menu and made our selections. I decided on the Tom Yum Mho Fai Talay, while my friends went for chicken and beef fried rice, chicken pad Thai, and green curry. We also ordered edamame and crab rangoon as appetizers.
When the food arrived, the enticing aromas wafted through the air, promising a delicious meal ahead. We wasted no time diving in, savoring each bite. My Tom Yum Mho Fai Talay was bursting with flavor, and the spice level was just right for my taste. However, the standout dish of the evening was undoubtedly my friend's green curry. The perfect balance of spice that gently kicked in at the back of the throat left us all in awe. Its rich and vibrant flavors were truly impressive, sparking conversation and praise around the table.
Sabai Thai & Sushi lived up to its hidden gem status, offering a delightful dining experience that I would eagerly repeat. Whether you're dining solo, on a date, or with family, this charming spot comes highly recommended. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and outstanding food ensures that Sabai Thai & Sushi is a place worth returning to time and time again.

My colleagues and I stopped by for dinner take-out while on the road and it was a good decision! The food was really good although we were all surprised at the small portions given the prices. I ordered a Papaya Salad and a Pad Kee Mao for about $30 and even though I was hoping it would last me two meals, it actually turned out to be a large single meal with both items. I really like that they have a spiciness ranking. I normally don't like too much spiciness so I ordered medium (3/6) but it was too spicy for me. My colleague who loves spice chose 5/6 and they said they could have done 6/6. Take what you can from our experience with the spiciness.

Food was okay but they are very cheap and stingy despite the price being expensive. First and probably last time im getting take out from here.
G-d forbid you ask for extra hot sauce or chili flakes. The whole restaurant breaks out calculators and starts panicking as to how much to charge you for a 1oz cup of either.
Shameful.

We went for my boys birthday. The fried rice was very good. However, we ordered two should and both people did not like it and one of them got very sick π€’.
Our bill came with a 20% tip pre included, which considering they got one of the orders wrong, and the food wasn't good for everyone I was not earned.
They didn't even ask if we were celebrating or is first time.

One and done.
Take-out. Our usual Thai place is closed on Sundays and I was yearning for Tom Kah soup.
Could be because my son just returned from a full month retreat in Thailand sending pictures of every scrumptious morsel he ate.
anyway, this was nearby, menu sounded interesting.
Ordered on the app. 2 Tom Kah soup, $14.00, 1 Pineapple rice with Chicken and Shrimp. $25.00.
That seemed rather high, but I figured it would be a great portion for two with the Soup.
Ordered Level 2 out of 5 for spice level.
We live in Delray but our go to Thai place is in LW, so we were in the area. Paid on app, tipped on app.
Arrived, food was ready in time and headed home. Opened that bag ready to savor my soul saving Tom Kah soup. There were 2, 1 cup servings in a small container. 8 oz each. So, I called... sure it was a misunderstanding. Nopers. I was informed that was the only size they offered. Not starting on the best foot here. I said "how unfortunate" and ended the conversation.
All this before I tasted it.
Ok... I'm not a chef. I have however had over a dozen styles from various Thai places. I have preferences. This was, by far the most unflavored white coconut milk with a few shreds of chicken, a tomato chunk and #4 HEAT. No galangal, red curry, lemongrass, cilantro, green onions .... nothing. Honestly 8 oz was more than enough. Unedible, I fished the chicken shreds out and tossed the rest out.
Now, main dish. It certainly had promise. It was pretty in a pineapple shell. Interesting mix for flavors, cashews, raisins and pineapple chunks... If they hadn't KILLED it with red pepper. #2 folks, not #4!!! I like heat. This was unbearable. Add that there were only 4 medium sized shrimp in a $25.00 dish of rice.
I lost my appetite and my spirit was broken. I surrender. Expensive light dinner for 2, but lesson learned.
Hard pass... and reminder to not have Thai on Sunday. Maybe it's a religious thing as Thailand is a very holy place. I really have no idea, but I'll respect that and do any other place Monday through Saturday.

So the presentation for the dishes at this restaurant are pretty good however what you pay for the amount that you're getting in the size of the dish it's not proportionate. It's okay food but there are other options out there that are more flavorful than Sabai Thai. I ordered the basil fried rice with shrimp this dish here cost easily $7 to $8 more than what you would pay and other Thai restaurants.

We stumbled onto this place as we were looking for sushi before having to go to a meeting close by. We are always leery of a restaurant that is located next to a pawnshop and a car wash, not to mention a vape shop.
The good news is that we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the food, particularly the service, which was A +, and the overall experience.
The clichΓ©, "a diamond in the rough," is completely applicable here. If you're in this area and are looking for good sushi, try this place!

NOT RECOMMENDED!
I was utmost disappointed with the service. I came for a pick up after spending nearly $94 on food. I simply asked for soy sauce which was NOT in any of my bags/ box. The older woman looked at me as if that I was asking her to move the world. She looked me up-and-down as if that I had 10 heads, simply because I asked for sauce. I was forced to repeat my self; I obliged and repeated my request nicely. She looked at me again up-and-down. She went to the rear and came back with 3 packs of soy sauces. YES! THREE ...after I just spent nearly $100. She spoke and understood the English language, so she was well aware of my prior requests. It was evident she had no intentions of providing any sauces. It left me wondering, if I had looked like her would she have the audacity to have treated me in this manner?? Beware should you decide to support this small business! Customer service is beyond unacceptable!!!! NEVER AGAIN will I patronize your business!!

Placed an order for 2 soups and a curry dish. The total was $40 which is fine, when I arrived to pick up, the food was in tiny containers, unlike all other restaurants for even a small soup, the soups were in sauce containers. The curry which I paid $4 extra for since I requested extra veggies, was also in the smallest container I have ever seen an entree in. The ladies were not very nice when I asked for my money back and said they can only request the money to be returned since their website uses a third party. So I wasted an hour driving and getting frustrated, have no dinner and may be getting my money back in 3 to 5 days. First and last time ordering from this place.

This place really has gone downhill in the last three years, and is the perfect example of βshrinkflationβ. Their portions get smaller and smaller, to the point where Iβve taken to ordering extra rice with each order so that I have a normal amount. Tonight was the last straw - the cheesecake came and was as thin as my finger!

We were not looking for mediocre food last night, but there it was at Sabai Thai & Sushi, where the gross sashimi tasted like it was just unfrozen, and the sushi had a miniscule amount of fish. However, the best part of our experience was our aggressive waitress, who with nearly 10 minutes before close announced it was "time to go." She then retrieved plastic to-go containers and without being asked, boldly grabbed the curry bowl out of my friend's hands and proceeded to empty it into one of the plastic containers. It was one of those moments where all you can do is just shake your head because the behavior exhibited by the waitress was so rude it was stunning.

Their Chicken and Rice soup is the BEST I have ever had. I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to pick up a few containers and bring them home. Unlike most places that put tough, chewy, diced chicken into their soups, Sabai Thai uses tender thinly-sliced chicken breast (see the picture,) it just melts in your mouth. The rice is plentiful and the broth is savory but with a clean, light finish to it, nothing processed here, it tastes fresh and homemade. I know it might sound silly going on about a bowl of soup, but Iβm telling you, this soup is a bowl of sunshine! π

The front as you pull up at night is not so pretty or inviting. But once you open the door and walk in, you are transformed into a modern-day Thai/ sushi restaurant with great food, amazing service, and wonderful decore. We walked in, and the most pleasant person (Penny) came over and seated us and took our order. We went with the Thai Dumplings and the Shrimp Sumai appetizers and Tom Kha soup. For our main course, we shared between the three of us. Panang Curry shrimp, Chicken Drunken Noodles, and Pork stir-fried Vegies. Three different plates. All are delicious! The only thing was I should have asked for a little spicier, so I added some of their spices to give it a kick.
It's really a great find, and thanks to my fellow Yelpers for posting some greqt reviews that brought me to this place.

No utensils delivered with the meal. Pad Kee Mau was tasteless and the meal was delivered lukewarm. We drank our soup out of the containers and the had to go to the nearest restaurant to βliberate some plastic utensils! Sabai will not see our business again unless they make restitution. For over a hundred dollars of my HARD EARNED MONEY I would at least expect the simplest details to be right.

I always order through Uber Eats, so I canβt comment on the location itself, but their food is pretty good. Iβve seen a couple complaints about the pad Thai, but thatβs what I always get and I like it. Itβs better than several of the other local places Iβve tried. Their krab rangoons and gyoza are good too. The portions are a little on the smaller side, for the price. Last time, I ordered the spicy beef salad ($18) and it came in one of those little circular to-go dishes. It was essentially a side salad, for the price of a full entree. I havenβt been disappointed with anything else, but that dish is way over priced.

Visited numerous times over the years but recently stopped going to explore other restaurants.
Yesterday we tried them again for Valentine's day and it was a great outing. The online to go ordering was simple, the prep time was not too long, and the restaurant was fairly quiet, so pickup was a breeze.
We had the gyoza, shrimp tempura and spicy tuna sushi rolls, miso Soup and the Crispy Volcano entrΓ©e. Very impressed by everything. My only complaint would be that the Crispy volcano entrΓ©e doesn't hold up well as a to go, because the Crispy texture is somewhat lost due to it steaming in the container on the drive home, which was unfortunate. It did still taste good, but I'm sure it's loads better eaten fresh in the restaurant.

While in Boynton Beach, FL, I was looking for a good Thai Joint. Personally, I've noticed a lot of Thai restaurants in the area also, serve Japanese sushi and bento boxes. The island style themed restaurant was cute, the one thing I noticed was the premade food in a display case. The only other time I've seen this is in Little Tokyo Los Angeles, Ca. All the restaurants have a display case facing outside so the customers can decided if they want to eat at that specific restaurant.
The flavor of all the dishes we ordered was authentic, everything came out fresh and hot but, I was surprised by the portion size. We were a party of 3 and ordered three items and an appetizer, we ate everything which is very rare because the portions are usually larger but not in this case.
It should also be noted, if you have kids that do not eat Thai food and you wanted bring in something for them such as Mc Donald's they are very strict as we overheard a family behind us that was asked to leave, the mother said, "My kids don't eat Thai food but my husband and I want to eat here." I get it, but its business for them and no one was in the restaurant, what was the problem here?
Ordered
Egg Rolls - The veggie rolls came out piping hot with a fragrance of ginger which paired well with the sauce, typical sweet and spicy ma ploy.
Pad Thai - The Pad Thai had great flavor and good amount of chicken.
Pad Se Eew - Had beautiful Wok hay (which is originally a Cantonese phrase used to describe a essence or aroma that is created in a dish when authentic stir-frying is performed) it's a slight char on the crust of the noodle if stir-fried correctly. Traditionally the dish uses Chinese broccoli
but, in this case, it was served using regular broccoli.
Fried Rice - The combo fried rice had great flavor but again the protein was lacking with only 1 shrimp it was a bit of a disappointment.

Awesome little place for Thai curry, sushi, and tea. Super friendly staff, sabai Thai has been a secret staple of my family's go to take out list. Definitely a quieter place to eat if you're eating in, and not somewhere I'd bring a great deal of people to sit down.

This place is definitely one of my best real authentic Thai and sushi

Long wait. Unfinished chewy pad Thai noodles. Defensive after complaint. Not worth reordering because of wait and defensiveness.Very disappointing for a what was supposed to be a quick easy birthday dinner. Star given for spring rolls.

Unfortunately our experience wasn't great. Food was lackluster, but our servers were very nice. I don't think we'll be going back

We love the positive energy in atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly. Extremely clean. Every meal on the menu is phenomenal.

I am so shocked that this is a real restaurant, I was sure it was a ghost kitchen. The quality of the rolls was so disappointing honestly. Grocery store sushi is better. The dynamite roll is just a piece of cooked salmon inside. The JB roll was better but I could have gone to Publix for one third of the price and had the same quality or even better. Wonβt eat sushi here again but canβt speak for the rest of their cuisine.

Delicious food and great service!!

This place has an authentic Thai feel, the staff comes up to your table promptly, the food is excellent, and the prices are about average for Thai cuisine.

Ordered spring rolls and the cup of sauce had practically a drop of sauce in it, the shrimp Tempura in the roll was burnt to a crisp and hurt to eat... would not recommend.

Just HORRIBLE..you were my favorite restuarant..Boyntons little jewel....but GREED has ruined you forever. I went there for my daughter's graduation dinner and the service was just horrible. I have gone to this restuarant many times before and the food was always good but this time...I can't even describe how disgusting it was. Not only was the food bad with smaller portions of everything, their sweet and sour chicken tasted watered down and the chicken old and when they asked me if it was good... everyone at the table replied no...she insisted that I wanted to take it home. Then to top it off..I found a hair in my roll. Their prices have gone up with a 20% gratuity added in automatically, and made me pay for a dish that wasnt worth eating. Ugggh it makes me so mad...I spent my hard earn cash to waste it away on a restuarant that is basically ripping people off...NEVER AGAIN. YOU HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS

My boyfriend lost to me at mini golf so he had to pay for dinner which was honestly the best part but the food was delicious. We got shumai which were really big and delicious. I got the Singapore curry noodles and they were really good. The music was really good and the whole place was just good vibes and good times. 10/10 will be returning. He's not as good at mini golf as me so I think we will be back really soon β€οΈ

This has become a weekly lunch spot for a group of us from church and it never disappoints. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice. It's served in a half pineapple shell and is absolutely amazing. A hidden gem for sure.

!!NOT HAPPYβ¦.DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!
*Ordered for delivery from grub hub.
**I AM EXTREMELY UPSET at this food/place.
I could NOT take more than one bite from my pad Thai. It smelled like moldy soil (fecal matter - no joking, I wish I was). Iβm sorry but I just couldnβt. The taste was horrible (I literally threw it up). Iβve eaten pad Thai before and this was just by far the WORST.
1. Food portions were unreasonable to what was paid. It was basically 2 cups of rice for $25. I ordered to meals ($50).
2. Did not get ANY utensils as REQUESTED
3. If I could give a negative, I would have. Definitely not happy. I could have gotten 3 meals somewhere else for this price.
4. No receipt in the bag
5. Would not order again
6. Do not recommend.
7. Check my picture, this is what $50 will get you at this place. Two mini containers. My gf stopped eating hers after the smell from
My food. So disappointed.
8. I hate throwing out food knowing thereβs starving people in the world but again, it was that bad..

This place is absolutely one of the best Thai places around. Like seriously you can't go wrong here. Sushi is amazing, the Pad Woon Send is to die for, curry is great. You just can't go wrong.

Top 3 in Pad Thai I've ever had. Sushi is amazing too. Jasmine tea is delicious too! Definitely eating here again.

Ordered Pad Thai on the lowest spicy. It was so hot that we could not eat it and had to throw it all out. Even the Spring rolls were too spicy to eat. We were told by the restaurant that this was low spicy. It was too hot for any of our family members to eat. When we complained to the restaurant we were told we needed to talk to Uber 8th period over 8th didn't have much to say about it that'll be my next review.

Really rude wouldnβt let use the bathroom after eating because they thought we were in a βgangβ very racist

A relatively innocuous-looking restaurant at the end of a neighborhood strip mall with superb Thai and other Asian dishes, and friendly and efficient service. A pleasant surprise! Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

This is what we paid for $19. I will never order from them again it doesnβt even look appetizing for such a pricey place even the rice is over cooked. The lady kept asking my boyfriend for tip tip over and over. For what for ordering out? Jeezz

Place was really good. We had a party of 5. Things ordered were sushi, spring rolls, summer rolls, gyoza for appetizers. Fried snapper, drunken noodles, curry for dinner and sticky rice with mango and Thai donuts for dessert. Sticky rice with mango was really good. Everything was tasty..nice little spot, not to busy on a Saturday night.

Personal recommendation from friends. First time here! When you first walk in, you'll notice it's a small place with a fast casual type of feel. They don't have outside seating (which is typically a must have for me).
We ordered drinks and an appetizer to start. Iced green tea for my husband and a glass of Merlot for me (they don't offer Pinot Noir π). Appetizer was fried Thai dumplings (sorry, no pic). They were just okay. Not bad tasting but didn't have a lot of flavor. My husband ordered Pad Woo Sen (Thai). I ordered Sam Sahai (sushi). His comment is that it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. My comment is the same.
In our case, we have gone to other sushi and Thai restaurants closer to us. We like the food much better at our regular places.
Since this was our first time here, I wouldn't be totally against going back and trying something else, but I probably won't think of it.

Ordered from Door Dash. I looked at the bag that was $79. I ordered Singapore Noodles. It looked like Dog Food. 3 pea pods, 2 shrimp, 2 chicken and not sure what else it was. ORDERED Tuna rolls, discusting. Called the place and the Lady lied and was rude. Trying to get a refund.

Absolutely delicious Thai food! We decided to give this place a try after being disappointed time and time again from our regular thai food go-to that went down in quality and up in price. Im so happy we did because the food is so much better and the service was fast and friendly.

This was hands down the best sushi I have ever had. The menu was huge and comprehensive, everything we ordered was perfect, and even their boba tea was delightful. Will be going again!

Rating this place based on looks .... not the best place to sit and enjoy a meal without constant interruption. People in and out picking up food. However, food looks and smells good.

For a small place, they have such a wonderful staff! As soon as we sat down, edamame was placed at the table, and the wait staff was timely and efficient the entire time. The food was delicious as well, although if you like it spicy their food is milder than expected. I ordered a 3 on their 1-5 scale and I'm definitely getting a 5 next time.
