Blind Tiger has always been my go to sushi restaurant. Their fish is always incredibly fresh and savory. They are now open for lunch and have very reasonably priced lunch options that include combinations of extremely tasty and delicious hand rolls. The quality of the fish is just amazing. I highly recommend having lunch at BT any day of the week!

We picked this spot to celebrate our Anniversary. Sharisa was our server and she was welcoming to us first timers and very knowledgeable and friendly. We certainly owe a big part of this great experience to her. We went with the Omakase BT Experience, the 4 courses, nigiri and hand roll were all excellent. Very fresh and each plate unique. Not deducting a star for this because overall the experience was great, but we were served 2 macaroons as dessert and it left a lot to be desired. Dessert was disappointing, especially because we were celebrating and we had seen photos of other desserts. They were good, but we just expected something nicer to come with the BT Experience.
Overall, great service, great dishes, tasty drinks and nice ambiance. We will definitely be back.

I recently dined at this incredible omakase restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. Best Lunch experience ever.

Almost everything is down in from Japan. Fish was really fresh. I was fortunate to have the manager as my server, and he was really attentive. We did the testing menu and the Spice menu. Both were great. Enjoyed the sashimi. Usually I find most Japanese restaurants have their sashimi too watery from not defrosting long enough. Didn't have that problem here. Cheesecake at the end was fantastic, light and creamy. Don't skip this if you enjoy cheesecake.

Would come back again soon. I'd like to see them do sobering similar to Spice more often, outside of their existing omakase. Thanks!

We got the omakase. Highly recommend! Everything was delicious. Our server, George B. (Jorge) gave us impecable service, he was knowledgeable and explain each dish in detail. To fishing, the selection of macarons was fantastic. Definitely coming back!

This is a very unique experience in a speakeasy style area of a restaurant (Reunion Kitchen) under the same ownership.

The sushi is from Japan and is extremely fresh and of high quality. The room is small with about 5 tables and a sushi bar.

The servers and staff provide excellent service and are a pleasure to deal with.

I’ve been there about 10 times and in all cases our entire table had the multi course set menu where we received a variety of nigiri, a unique starter, edamame, miso soup and a cone sushi.

As stated the quality is top shelf and the experience is the same.

Highly recommended to any sushi fan that appreciates this high level of quality, service and a very unique experience.

The place was magnificent and very intimate. The music was great, and the food was exceptional—fresh and of excellent quality. Our waitress, Sharisa, was very attentive to our requests and gave us wonderful recommendations for all the dishes we chose. She made sure we didn’t lack anything throughout the evening and was very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone if you’re looking for a guaranteed great evening!

Absolutely incredible, really unique spot for omakase. Stumbled onto this place on the recommendation of friends, and was very pleasantly surprised by how high quality the omakase experience was (especially at the price point). Really cool speakeasy environment in the back of house that reminds me of Michelin-star omakase spaces, too.

Also have to give a massive shoutout to Karen for the attentive and phenomenal service, and chef Guilherme for the fantastic sushi preparation. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

We stopped here last minute and honestly, I do not regret it one bit …

First off, the experience was amazing. Dahiana was amazing. She took such attentive care for me and my mother. She was patient, caring, helpful. Honestly, everything you would want in a service.

Then, the FOOD. Guilherme made astronomical meals. I have never tried such delicious dishes and dishes with so much passion made within it. I have gone to many experiences involving handrolls and omakase, but Guilherme had a special touch.

I cannot wait to go back. These two people made the experience worth coming to. I had so much fun I didn’t even pick up my phone… I only took the initial picture and after that, enjoyed my experience to the fullest.

Food and experience were hands down one of the best in south Florida. Would 100% recommend. Extremely disappointing experience for mediocre food and ridiculously SLOW service.
It took forever to take our order, then they were bringing out food for a party of 5 piece by piece!
we had to wait for 20-30 mins in between !!
At the end we had to cancel 70% of undelivered order and simply leave. Ruined our night!
We have seen hundreds of sushi places prepare orders with a speed of light, this place is just a mockery of a restaurant!

Took my wife here for our anniversary dinner and we went with the tasting experience. It was absolutely phenomenal. Everything was fresh, delicious, and plentiful.

Our server, Karen, was incredibly helpful and kind. My wife loves sushi, but I’m more of a novice. Karen walked us through the whole menu, gave fantastic suggestions, and explained each dish as it came out. Truly went above and beyond!

The salmon sushi was decent, but the location felt odd and far too casual given the mysterious 'Blind Tiger' marketing, like it is some dining in the dark experience. The atmosphere didn't match the hype, which promised a more unique and immersive dining experience. I wouldn’t return. Can get the same sushi in aventura mall.

Blind Tiger es de esos lugares que te sorprenden desde el primer bocado. Los hand rolls son espectaculares, con una combinación de sabores que te darán ganas de volver una y otra vez. A truly delectable dining experience. This hidden gem inside Reunion offered excellent quality Japanese dishes. 4-5 tables and a bar to sit at. Miami spice brought us here and we highly recommend giving them a try. We started with the Rainbow Tartare, followed by the agitate Carpaccio (the best scallops we have ever had), Black Cod Miso and ended it with the Bluefin (we started with the lean and ended with the fatty). Dessert was Macarons (which I do not like). I tried them (raspberry, pistachio, chocolate and vanilla) and for the first time loved them. The secret is they are fresh made by a local.

This was the most exceedingly mediocre omakase experience ever. It took over half an our for the server to take our drink order despite there being only 6 other people in the restaurant. My friend and I ordered the Blind Tiger Epxerience. The rice was terrible which affected every piece of sushi. The fish was meh.
All of the non-nigiri dishes were oversauced which took away from the fish. That is probably a good thing since the qaulity of the fish was subpar. The sushi chef did not interact with us once during the meal. The area behind the sushi bar was messy and unkempt. There are so many better omakases in South Florida. In fact, I would venture to say every omkase in South Florida is better.

- A Hidden Gem in Aventura

We've been regulars at the main restaurant in front, but this time we decided to check out Blind Tiger, and wow, what an incredible experience! The fresh fish and sushi were top-notch, easily some of the best we've had in the area. The flavors were vibrant, and the presentation was impeccable.

But what truly made our night was the outstanding service provided by Karen. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in. The whole speakeasy vibe of Blind Tiger adds an exciting twist to the dining experience, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for something special. We’ll definitely be back!

A hidden sushi speakeasy in Aventura...yes, please!

It is a small space but very intimate inside. You can either opt in to go on an omakase journey with their chefs or order from the regular menu.

You can't go wrong with either option.

They are open everyday at 5pm. I would suggest a reservation unless going right when it opens just to be safe.

This is an absolutely amazing and authentic Japanese experience! You can not leave without trying the A5 smoked wagyu it is perfection itself. Karen was unbelievable kind and helpful explaining everything on the menu. Do not fear any unknown items on the menu as Karen will explain everything and give you the best posible recommendations.

Expensive, mediocre and limited menu.
I wanted to eat a good sushi, only four roll options: one slice, one vegetables, one meat and one salmon roll… the waitress advice the rolls would take 35 min to arrive.
Never coming back again. Don’t waste your time, money or efforts.

Best Omakase experience I’ve had thus far. A hidden speakeasy-ish little gem tucked away inside Reunion Kitchen with a 24 person only seating capacity. I lucked out with a table and the joint all to myself without reservations on a Friday evening, when does that ever happen. Karen, the waitress, was the warmest, most welcoming and attentive server. She suggested the BTS Experience which I also recommend doing at least the first time. She explained all the dishes in detail and since I had her and both chefs to myself, sort of speak, food came out fast. She did give me time in between to enjoy the dishes individually and I thought that was not only thoughtful but shows professionalism. She also showed me around Reunion Kitchen’s different dining rooms, wine and cocktail bars, talk about going above and beyond. Now as far as the food, this is what I opted for….

Besides the $90 BT experience, which is 4 courses and 6 nigiri, all chef selections and all exceptionally delicious. I also ordered the Akami crispy rice which was my least favorite; I’d skip that one altogether. Also ordered the crunchy lettuce wrap, is a must try as well as the Salmon torch which is also mouth watering. The BT Experience includes the rainbow tartare, a dish that’s phenomenal. To be honest I ordered too much food but I’m glad I got to try a lot of different dishes that way I know what not to order next time. The BT Experience will fill you up and it does include a dessert at the end, chefs choice as well.

This joint surprised the heck out of me in a good way. I’d like to come back a try a few other menu items that caught my eye. I’d suggest making reservations in advance because as time goes by and joint becomes popular with limited seating capacity, one won’t be as lucky as I was. There’s plenty of parking in the shopping center.

Let me start off by saying that the food was outstanding. We tried the crispy rice, some nigiri, the salmon tataki, and a roll and they were all flawless and so delicious. Also our server Karen was so kind and so professional and she made the experience that much better. The ambiance is also very intimate, the lighting is dimmed and it’s quiet. Definitely recommend for a date night.

If you are looking for omakase, this isn’t it. We requested counter seats for four thinking that we can watch the sushi chefs work but the counters are too high (can’t see anything) and the courses weren’t serve to you in omakase style (I expected an experience where the chefs give you a dish and explain it.) Instead it was a waitress serving you small plates. Dishes came out painfully slow (every 15 minutes per small course which was consumed in 2 bites). The sushi chefs were making sushi for the whole restaurant (Reunion Kitchen Bar) Except for the nigiri course which was served all at once, all the other dishes were 2-4 slices of half inch thin fish served with a fusion sauce that overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. We had the Miami spice omakase experience for $90 and I would say it is absolutely not worth it. If you are looking for sushi, the food isn’t terrible… but the quality is on the level of a typical sushi/Thai fusion place. Not exactly innovative or exciting. I wasn’t expecting Hiden quality food or experience but if you are looking for a mid range omakase experience, Mr. Omakase will be a better one (actually true to an omakase) with similar pricing. Leaving this review so anyone who is coming in with an expectation can understand before booking. To sum it up, sitting at the counter reminded me of sitting at a bar top getting sushi delivered you, not an involved welcoming omakase experience with a dedicated chef. If you still decide to book, I would recommend the table seating as it appeared more intimate as sitting at the counter, we were staring at the wood counters and unable to have a conversation with our company.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blind Tiger Sushi Restaurant with my wife and I must say, it was an absolutely remarkable experience. The chief course stands out in particular - it's certainly a must-try for any food lover! Sushi doesn't get better than this in Florida. We just came back from a trip in Japan and this has been the only nigiri to scratch the itch since. The sushi chefs behind the counter are meticulous and the service was phenomenal. We had the nigiri plate, lobster and salmon miso aburi rolls. We ended the meal with some melt in your mouth chu-toro (picture attached). The lobster roll was our favorite - the server pours on hot clarified butter when the roll is served and every piece melts in your mouth. Unfortunately, we only took pictures of the nigiri but can't recommend this experience enough. We'll definitely be back!

Wife and I went for a belated Valentine's Day experience.

George was our server, very attentive, kept our sake and water full the entire night while also providing a brief overview of each course.

We went ahead and selected the Blind Tiger experience, a chefs tasting menu that cost 189$ per person. Considering what was on the tasting itself and compared to the menu, I thought it was actually worth it when you did the math (it might've been cheaper than ordering the individual items).

Quality of fish was excellent, the menu items were well made and delicious. The salmon course was absolutely phenomenal. Wife's favorite course was the black cod with daikon cake too.

The only knock I'll give to the experience was that there was no dessert course specifically in mind towards the end, although the almond mousse and kiwi cheesecake were still absolutely amazing.

All things considered, if they ever do a seasonal menu change, I'd love to see what they come up with.

PS you will not be leaving hungry from this tasting menu.

This hidden omakase is inside Reunion Ktchn Bar! How could I be so blind? Well now you have the intel and this place is a gem and priced right :) For around 150 per person, you'll be treated to a 17-course experience by real Japanese chefs. (At least when we went so check their website for updates).

As soon we checked in at Reunion, the hostess whisked us away towards the back storage area which revealed an intimate dining space. We were the only ones there but we opted to sit in front of the chefs where we could witness the action. I honestly don't remember the names of the first 4 starter items but they were beautifully presented and super fresh. Then came 10 varieties of high-quality nigiri curated by the check. Each one tasted differently from one another so every bite was just a flavor explosion. We could tell they were also very fresh cause they slipped into our throats like butter. The next course was this tartare with caviar and uni plated gorgeously on a web-designed dish (see my pics). Wow. This was heaven. Even the soup course was impressive. For the finale, of course, we had to try a couple of desserts which were both extraordinary.

We were very impressed by this experience and actually glad that it was a slow night because we basically had the restaurant to ourselves. Service was outstanding as well. Very attentive and professional. The chefs were very informative too. Hopefully, when you read this review, you'll check out this omakase. It's run by the same people from Reunion Kitchen which is one of my favorite places to eat in Aventura. Plus there's plenty of free parking in the plaza.

The restaurant is inside reunion kitchen, which I go very often (didn’t know there was a restaurant inside it), you might think it’s weird at first because you go to a bunker like room. As you go inside it looks very classy and exclusive, only one waiter which was not a problem since it was empty, amazing service! Food is excellent, very tasty and a lot of quality, the tuna is one of the best I ever ate, and the nigiris are very delicious! Also the price is good for what you get, even though it’s not cheap the quality of the food is very good, you feel the freshness of the fish in every bite! Also excellent sake options!

The quality of the sushi was outstanding! It’s definitely expensive but an awesome experience.
It’s a secret restaurant inside a restaurant. We couldn’t find it at first but Google maps will get you Reunion Ktchen bar and then go in and ask the host for RKB. Enjoy 😉

It was worth the 50min drive!
We had the Omakase and it was really good, Luis our server was amazing and made sure everything was perfect for us.
Try the margaritas with Mezcal, it was our special request cause we don’t drink sake and the bartender hit it out of the park!

A hidden gem! I’m traveling for business and was craving sushi. I’m picky about my sushi, as I typically only get nigiri, so the fish has to be high quality. So many sushi places are able to mask their quality by adding other ingredients to their rolls. I tried 6 different types of nigiri, and the Japanese salad— and all was absolutely amazing. The fish was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing. Do not sleep in this place— I’m sure as word gets around they will be booked solid, and for good reason. The service and ambiance was also great too.

They ruined all other sushi for me. The entire experience from beginning to end was amazing. Eat bite was just so flavorful I never wanted it to end. If I could I would move into their restaurant and never move out. I plan on recommending it to everyone. And George the waiter was fabulous, definitely helped with making decisions and was very knowledgeable on the menu. Me and my girlfriend are guaranteed to come back.
