Pubbelly Sushi

This restaurant is a must eat when in Aventura Mall. The food is truly favorable, well-made, and delicious, extremely enjoyable.
The service is excellent and friendly. Veronica, our server, was really nice and knowledgeable of the menu. My wife gave her a hug before leaving. That is how good this place was. The atmosphere really relaxed. They have perfect background music, not loud. Perfect to enjoy the company you're with and the food.

Great experience. Veronica was our server. She was outstanding and her suggestions on point. We were not in a mood for sushi. My husband wanted steak and I wanted something new but no fish, something comforting to the soul. We started with dessert. The Bread Pudding 2.0 was refreshing with soft and crunchy textures, and I really like the sesame ice cream and crackers. The French Onion Miso Soup was cheesy and full of flavor. Nice twist. The skirt steak came with some greens and sauce. I thought it was going to be boring but it was quite tasty, very juicy. I had the pb fried rice with egg on too. My egg was too raw and it was discouraging. I lifted my head to look for Veronica but someone else quickly jumped in and offer to fix my dilema. They brought back my rice bowl with a perfectly done over medium egg. Just the way I like it. The lights were dim but not too dark, the music was great, we were able to talk with our regular voices. The overall environment was inviting. I will definitely come back here to try the other dishes in the menu. Highly recommend it.

Excellent service by Christopher. He was super personable, attentive, made great suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the rainbow roll, baby bok choy and the Milky Way cocktail. Nice presentation. The rainbow roll had plenty of fresh fish. The baby bok choy was flavorful. The Milky Way cocktail was a delightful boba lychee unfiltered sake drink. Boba was refreshing little balloons of lychee juice rather than chewy balls. Located in the Aventura Mall outdoor restaurant courtyard aside a lovely tropical garden complete with banana trees and a sculpture fountain. Will definitely be back.

An amazing experience. I eat here regularly but today something was different. The staff was so warm and friendly. The bartender offered a chef special which was this BOMB salad with pear and strawberries and tuna. It was delicious. The manager, Tim, was incredibly friendly and the chef himself also greeted me and thanked me for my feedback.

Nestled in a quaint corner of Aventura Mall, Pubbelly Sushi offers a modern Asian dining experience that is both inviting and stylish. The ambiance is sleek and contemporary, making it a perfect spot for sushi lovers.

The highlight of my dinner was undoubtedly the Butter Krab Roll, which I can confidently say is one of the best sushi rolls I have ever tasted. The rich flavors and perfectly balanced ingredients truly set it apart.

I also enjoyed the Sake Aburi Roll; it was tasty and well-balanced, showcasing the chef's skill in combining flavors. However, the Wagyu Beef Tartare Roll was a mixed experience for me. While the beef tartare itself was outstanding, the sushi roll underneath didn't quite complement the tartare's taste and texture as I had hoped.

Despite this minor setback, my overall experience was delightful, and I will definitely be returning to this lovely little gem of a sushi spot soon! I highly recommend pairing your meal with a bottle of Perfect Snow sake for an added treat.

This restaurant is great! My husband and I have been coming for years. The food and service is always fantastic. We always have the butter crab roll. The lobster donut roll is fun. From the moment me my friends walked in the music sounded great. Sound system is awesome in there. The restaurant has an inviting smell and the lighting is great. I would probably dim lights a little more to add some more intimacy, in my opinion. The service was great. Matthew took care of us. What a special man. He made us all laugh and feel welcomed immeditately. He explained the dishes we had questions about with ease. My friend has a fish allergy, weird, and he knew exactly what to suggest to accommodate her. We had the crispy hamachi sashimi, butter crab roll duhhhh, the big eye tuna, salmon robota, lobster doughnuts, sake aburi roll ( which he suggested, was my favorite), and all the nigiris! Skirt steak robota was my friends choice who has the allergy! SO GOOOOD! Great options.

The manager angel was so sweet! She came by and checked on us and even delivered some of the food and assured we were enjoying our experience. She really knows what she is doing. Such professionalism and authenticity. It's not easy finding a solid leader and I can tell she truly knows what she is doing ! Even chef Frank came by, what a cute little man. He has a cute goatee and he wears a newsboy hat. What a look. You know he attempted to be funny when delivering the food and I give him 5 stars for that. Was he funny.... ehhh... he can use some work on his comedy. But, the food they are producing is so good ! It makes up for the average jokes lol lol JUST KIDDING! Totally appreicated him & we look forward to seeing the crew at pubbelly again soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went very exited to eat with the family! The food was great but unfortunately they are short staff so we waited almost 40 min after we made the order. Then after 40 min we started to get the order and plate by plate with maybe 10 to 15 min of difference in between. So by the time my dad was done with his food I received mine then my son. And of course they miss a plate. So the guy told me I only order 3 plates not 4! Ahhh of course when I got the check I was charged for the 4 plates. So very bad experience. Of course wait again for them to fix the check! Be honest with the customers and let them know the waiting time. A table in front of us had to leave because no body took their order.

i went here to get a to go and got a sushi without spicy mayo, and they gave me spicy mayo, went BACK for them to change it and they took 2 min to get me back my sushi just to swipe the sauce off WITH A NAPKIN. this is unacceptable because there is people allergic to things. Came in for a quick but with my friend after doing some shopping. Had the Butter Crab roll, it was amazing! We sat at the bar, gald we did. Enjoyed great conversation with the bartender Matthew who was great, very friendly and Chef Wendy is awesome! I will definitely recommend this place!

I came to pubbelly aventura for the first time for a small dinner with friends to celebrate my birthday! Everything was amazing, the food was fresh and some of the best sushi i’ve had. Our server Cristian was so sweet, and attentive. All the staff members were helping our table and the manager even came out to sing happy birthday with everyone else. definitely a birthday to remember. The manager was amazing, I will be recommending everyone to this location

This was my first time at pubbelly aventura my friend invited me for their Ladies night! & it was a night to remember!

Wasn’t that busy. We found a tic tok video that recommended great unique dishes.
Server took 12 minutes to greet us
Server didn’t come back to check on how the food was
Appetizer Korean wings didn’t come, asked to take it off the bill, but they said they could give them to us Togo, which isn’t convenient since we’re visiting.
10 minutes to wait for the check

I recently visited Pubbelly Sushi in Aventura for a high school reunion, and overall, it was a great time. The atmosphere was lively, and the food was impressive—definitely, a spot that knows how to deliver on flavor.

However, our experience was interrupted by a noticeable heavy water leak from the ceiling next to the kitchen in the middle of our dining experience. It was an unfortunate distraction and not the best first impression for what could have been a perfect evening. While the situation didn’t ruin the night, it’s something that the management should address to avoid future disruptions.

Last week, I attended a "Ladies Night" at a different location, and I was so impressed that I decided to check out Pubbelly in Aventura this time. I have to say, this place is a hidden gem! ✨
From the moment you walk in, you can feel the unique vibe that sets it apart from the typical big-chain spots.

The atmosphere is just right, with a DJ spinning tracks that perfectly match the cozy, yet energetic ambience. It feels authentic, and you can tell that attention to detail is a priority here. The woman at the front desk was incredibly welcoming—she not only greeted us with a warm smile but also took the time to guide us to a charming, intimate area and explained the Ladies Night menu in detail. The service was top-notch; as soon as we sat down, we were treated to complimentary drinks and samples that were absolutely delicious!

We decided to start with a few appetizers, and the Salmon Tartare Taquito 🌮 was a standout. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, a perfect balance of textures. And the Wabisabi 🍹cocktail—wow! A brilliant mix of prosecco, wasabi, and other intriguing ingredients, it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. It’s worth the visit just for that drink alone.

Pubbelly Aventura definitely won us over from the moment we walked in. I can't wait to explore another location next week—this place has officially become a favorite! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

But honestly, you can’t beat awesome service nowadays. And that’s what I got here. If this is always how it is, I recommend just based on how nice it is to be well served when going out and spending your hard earned money.

Good little place outside in the Mall. Good music, not too loud. Matthew my bartender was sweet and knows the new menu which is good. I had the Lemongrass salmon 🍣 delicious. Definitely a swing by if you’re shopping to get out of the store’s restaurant.

My best friend and I decided to come here on a random weeknight and I have to say it did not disappoint at all! The food was delicious some of the most fresh sushi we’ve ever had. The manager Angel checked on us multiple times, she was so friendly, professional,and was very knowledgeable of the menu as she gave us great recommendations! 10/10 do recommend!!!!

Celebrated my birthday with my friend Sandra. This was her first visit.
Food was exceptional but beyond the food was our server Veronica. 100% the best server. She took care of all of our requests and made sure that Sandra saw a picture of the meal of her choice.
We both valued Veronica's time, patience, affability and good nature. Attitude and kindness is everything. Thank you Veronica for an excellent everything.

I love coming to Pubbelly in Aventura but this time was amazing and felt a bit different. The manager Angel really took great care of us, she was so caring and made us feel like Family. The food like always was amazing and our server Yuki also made sure we were really taken care of and gave us some awesome recommendations for some new dishes to try. I always come back but something about this experience felt great. Angel and Yuki also  told me about their monday $10 rolls so ill definitely be back for that.

I love pubbelly sushi, especially the Aventura location!!!
The food is amazing and always timed perfectly. The service is top tier. Happy hour options are great and the management and chefs are very active and engaging! Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Def check it out if you’re in the area.

The food was absolutely horrible. I first had some pork dumplings… I don’t know how you can mess that up I buy some at Trader Joe’s that will taste 100% better then had a sushi with crispy shrimp on top… DISGUSTING. The fried rice…. I don’t think these people know how to cook anything at all, if I am being honest. And then the manager removed the fried rice and my intentions were not to NOT pay because our waiter was amazing…. But the manager did a poor job he didn’t even come talk to us after we told our waiter.

Will never come here again and don’t know how much longer they can sustain in aventura if they don’t change their chef.

An amazing experience. I eat here regularly but today something was different. The staff was so warm and friendly. The bartender offered a chef special which was this BOMB salad with pear and strawberries and tuna. It was delicious. The manager, Tim, was incredibly friendly and the chef himself also greeted me and thanked me for my feedback.

One thing you can be sure of when going to Pubbelly is that the food is going to be delicious! I recommend the tuna pizza, the tuna tartare taco, chicken yakitori, and any of the sushi rolls. It's such a refreshing meal to have after a long day of shopping. The service was also one of a kind!! We had a great waiter Christian who made lovely suggestions and we also had two managers, and the chef Harol come to our table making sure everything was okay which we loved! The ambiance of this restaurant is super nice with the cherry blossom/ asian theme. I'm excited to try their other locations as well!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was truly impressed. My husband and I came to visit from Tampa last weekend. We were doing some shopping and decided to dine in. The young lady manager Angel recommended us to try the chefs special. We had tried both the specials including the bang bang shrimp and the truffle martini sashimi. Both were excellent and refreshing. The martini glass was genius and we posted pictures on our instagrams. Angel then came to check on our table again. She is very nice and well versed in what she does and took the time to to check on us a couple times. Phenomenal service and phenomenal food. Would recommended to all my friends in Tampa. Definitely coming back for there specials.

I recently dined here and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious; I highly recommend the seafood platter. However, the highlight of our visit was our waitress, Yuki. From the moment we were seated, Yuki was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife and I had a wonderful experience dining at Pubbelly. I remember first going to this restaurant when the original opened near Purdy avenue in South Beach years ago, and now that I live closer to Aventura, I’m thrilled that they have a location in the mall. Our servers Matt and Daniel gave exceptional service and we’d definitely go back to see them again. While everything on the menu is unique and worth trying, all meals should be accompanied by their Butter Krab roll every time!

We ordered the Rock Shrimp Roll and the Butter Crab Roll. It’s not my favorite sushi ever, but it was good. Mainly of note, our service was pretty bad - the waiter disappeared for a bit, so it was difficult to get the bill when it was time to leave. It turned us off from the experience. The brickell location is a bit better for sitting.

Pubbelly Sushi offers amazing Japanese-Latin fusion cuisine.
The service was excellent, and the flavors were fantastic. We loved the flavorful pork belly gyoza and the unique sushi rolls. (Try the Yellowtail with truffled yuzu) Plus, the Yoshitomo “I drink” beer name is hilarious!

We always sit at the bar since we are a party of 2. The service here is always impecable, Mathew the bartender is the Best. One dish we had (beef carpaccio) is five star ⭐️. The dish deserves a Michelin itself, and the rest of the food is delicious.

What an amazing experience from the moment you walked in the door I ended up sitting at the bar with a friend of mine We both had a fabulous time we still are talking about it .What stood out was Matthew He was the bartender with a fabulous smile and a great hospitality spirit he became the server for our food which his recommendations on each dish was a one of the kind experience with the flavors… Super unique!!!
people that don’t like sushi should definitely try this take on sushi mix with a Latino fusion for me. I can’t even describe the blends of flavors were off the chain. Matthew made some kind of lychee drink. I forgot the name it also Delightful refreshing and we even had another. I will definitely be back to visit.. Also, Angel came over who introduced herself she was the manager ,
That in itself shows a great team in a restaurant truly was a very special experience..

I just love this place! It was my first time coming here I was unsure, but I Decided to try it out and Sit at the bar with my friends. There are many reasons to visit the Pubbelly aventura mall location: it’s located just outside the main mall area so there’s a lot less pesky foot traffic, the ambiance is amazing, and the food is consistently delicious! But if you need just ONE reason to try the Pubbelly Aventura location it’s without a doubt the people! In my several visits the staff has always been on point, but the MVP of this location is Matthew at the bar! Matt is courteous, professional, he makes great recommendations, and his cocktails are the ABSOLUTE BEST! As someone who doesn’t always enjoy the large crowds and loud noise of the mall, Matthew and and the crew at Pubbelly make me forget I’m even there! A 10/10 experience!

Amazing customer service!!! Want to start off with that. I go to the restaurant often and always get great service. Been busy, so I chose to order delivery. My order arrived without a few rolls I expected (a promotion they were having). I called and spoke to a couple of friendly and helpful people who passed me on to Angel. She was very understanding and explained whith detail why this happened. She resolved the issue and when I ordered again, the food came as expected and was so delicious. I've never had a bad experience here

The food here was great. The atmosphere, phenomenal. However, the best part of this place is Matthew, the bartender. He made the best suggestions for food and cocktails. He is extremely attentive and has a great sense of humor. I’m in the service industry, so I tend to be overly picky at times, however, Matt checked all the boxes. Tasty food very original. We had some rolls to share all of them were delicious. The pubbelly bao bun was amazing. The atmosphere is nice but king of dark of you are inside. The service was ok, nothing special. Good price, not too expensive for the location.
