We ordered sushi rolls (Sweet Heart Roll and Mango Roll), Crab Rangoon, Egg Drop soup, Kung Pao Chicken, and Thin Rice Noodles with Chicken for our family for takeout. Unfortunately we ended up throwing a lot of it out due to flavor and texture issues and food safety concerns. The tempura shrimp in the Mango roll had a musty/dirty flavor to it that was off-putting, and it was very soggy. I ate one piece and then discarded the rest. The Sweet Heart roll was ok, but soggy to the point of falling apart. Given the issues we had with other dishes and the raw fish involved most of this dish was also discarded due to concerns for food safety. The chicken in both cooked dishes was sliced oddly and unevenly cooked. Some pieces were so overcooked that they were chewy, and some were sliced in a way that the piece was all gristle. The Kung Pao sauce was oddly sweet. The noodles were very bland and also had a somewhat musty flavor to them like poorly washed rice. Our child who loves noodles ate one bite and refused the rest. I wish we had a better experience, and maybe dine in is better, but we won't be back.

I usually try to be a positive reviewer. I try to look at the bright side and I have some good info to share but……like the rest of the world out here, I am SUPER sick of spending a crap ton of money on not good food.
Server was sweet, place was dead, read reviews while waiting an extreme amount of time for some subpar sushi. Like 50 minutes after our order went in. Your potstickers are not cooked throughly!!! Others have stated the same. Either tighten it up or take them off the menu. Super gummy and not good at all.
Totally Forgot out tempura appetizer
Tempura asparagus roll we asked for special (which it is not) was not worth $19. It was one asparagus stick rolled on rice/seaweed and cut into pieces.
The rest of the sushi wasn’t anything I would run back for unfortunately. The server apologized for The wait and offered to pay for our missing items and send them to go.
Bottom line, I think their Chinese food is probably what you should aim for if you try this establishment. It came out faster and looked decent.
I probably won’t return back here to eat again. Overpriced and not done well. Maybe get rid of the sushi menu!!!

Very delicious sushi place in Aspen Grove! Romantic atmosphere when we visited when it snowed 😁 our server was so nice to one of our kids! We loved the shishito peppers! Everything so tasty! I got the Kung Pao Shrimp + Scallops while the rest of the fam got sushi. I enjoyed the miso soup that came with the Kung Pao Shrimp + Scallops.

I’ve been buying wonton soup all over this country for 50 years. Never have I ever had a soup with this delicacy, flavor, exquisite freshness. The gently flavored broth is divine. I have been spoiled by this wonder. A plate of Tofu Pad Thai filled me up. I thought I could save some for later, but it was too delicious. Thanks Rice Bistro!

I'm always on the hunt for great sushi whether it's casual, fancy, or somewhere in between, I'm all in.

That's why I was so excited to try Rice Bistro & Sushi for the first time, and let me tell you, "impressed" doesn't even begin to describe it.

They get several shipments of fish each week, so everything is incredibly fresh! Plus, they offer an awesome selection of pan-Asian classics, making it the perfect spot for just about anyone.

They've got two locations: Littleton and Greenwood Village, so if you haven't been, go now. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Honestly? Everything was amazing. The Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks were next level and such a creative idea, and they nailed it. The Sushi in a Box concept is super fun; my favorites were the Mango Roll and the Wasabi Roll. The Crispy Rice was, of course, fantastic. Oh, and those Apple Pie Potstickers? Unreal. I could go on, but you just have to check them out yourself!

I’ve been coming here for years, and I can say I’ve never been disappointed! Drinks are tasty and they can make almost anything! Ordered a Paloma and WOW 🤯! So yummy. The sushi is always made fresh and they have plenty of gluten free options. Staff is wonderful and the vibe is fun! Definitely ask for their new pizza box sushi and the Kani stick!

The food was not great. Flavors ranged from bland to bad. I would return to try some of their more popular dishes and see if it was just what I ordered that was the problem.

Service was ok but my waitress could have been a little more welcoming and attentive.

The restaurant itself has a decent atmosphere, though the music wasn't my favorite for the style of restaurant and the 90s sitcoms playing at the bar felt a little out of place.

Quick stop for dine-in dinner. Wanting a lighter meal, we shared steamed dumplings and an order of chicken chow fun. I found the dumplings, while attractively presented, to be a little doughy, with a thicker wonton. Thumbs up on the chow fun, and one dish was plenty for the two of us, thankfully.

We frequent Rice Bistro and have slowly noticed a declined in their quality and taste of their food as well as the service. Tonight’s dinner was the cherry on top and we do not plan on coming back. Our food took an hour to arrive, multiple parts of the order was wrong, our table was dirty when we got to it, all while the restaurant was at about 25% capacity. Bummed about the experience and food, and unfortunately won’t be returning.

Tried this place for the first time and won't be back. We received dirty plates for our appetizer and old, wilted lettuce in our salad. It was inedible. The Vietnamese spring rolls were mostly filled with rice noodles and iceberg lettuce with a bit of carrot and tofu-no mint, cilantro, or other fresh seasonings. One of the potstickers had a long spiral of carrot that my husband pulled out--very odd! While the waitress was gracious and efficient, care and details were missing in the kitchen.

So I'm gluten intolerant and don't really ever have many options at sushi or Chinese restaurants until I found this place. They have soooo many gluten options that I cried happy tears. My friend and I ordered the Sesame chicken, mongolian beef, and a few sushi rolls, and everything came out amazing. All items that are breaded are made with Rice flour.

An average place with average food, prices, and service. Ordered Mongolian Beef and got their version of it, which was meh and franchise-flavored. I had to go ask the staff for utensils, since none were brought during any of the 4 visits by staff (when seated, with beverages, when ordered food, when food was brought). Would go again, if others asked me to join them, but it's not at the top of my list of places to go. Atmosphere is clean and welcoming enough for a casual dining experience, both indoors and outdoors.

I love the food here and order multiple times a week. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and it’s one of the few places where I can get food. However, I order the same thing almost every single time and 90% of the time I have to go back because they forget a part of my order. It’s very inconvenient and frustrating. The food has always been good here. Unfortunately over the last year or so, the service level has plummeted so bad, we don't even want to come anymore. If you're lucky enough to have a server come to your table, it will still take forever to get your drinks. They might come back and ask if you're ready to order...we just ordered. No management paying attention, the kitchen staff is loud and obnoxious and can be heard throughout the restaurant. Very unprofessional.

We ordered a lot of sushi, and being honest, it was not the best. Sauces were just ok for sashimi, and lacked a lot of taste. Tuna was chewy and thick cut, which made it hard to eat. Waitress was very nice, but they allow dogs on their patio, and one was up in my business while we ate. I am a dog lover, but they have their place, and as far as I'm concerned, it's not at a restaurant.

The wife & I just ordered a sushi platter (fan favorite platter) and it was simply not a fan favorite. I called yesterday to see what the best way to go about ordering this platter (for take out) so we can enjoy a decent lunch for Father’s Day and the person answering the phone said to call at 11am (when they open and tell them you’d like it ready by 1pm). So, I call at 11 and place our order and the server said (I’ve been here a whole year and I haven’t heard of that dish, one second).. well, that should’ve been a sign to not order it.. the sashimi plate (with other rolls) is often a nice treat where the wife and I splurge a little (without the kids) and this was just a major let down. We didn’t even finish the sashimi and the avocado on the rolls was clearly made when I called at 11 because it was so soggy and clearly expired. Anyone who has worked in hospitality knows what expired food often looks and tastes like.

We weren’t going to call and complain (because it just seems more exhausting than what it’s worth and we thought we could hopefully save someone from making the same mistake as we did) but if you’re gonna spend over $130 for a sushi platter, go somewhere else.

What we learned today.. was.. If you’re looking for a good sushi meal, do not come here. Your wallet will thank you later.

If the business owner reads this, please take the time to look over the Togo meals (especially the ones where customers are paying you over $100 and choosing your location to complete a special day). You failed us. Do better.

I called them trying to place a pick up order for 3 orders of california rolls with NO SESAME SEEDS! I told the host 2 times it was a dealt allergy and to not go into cross contamination with them! There were indeed sesame seeds on my rolls to where i had an allergic reaction. My mother called trying to report it and get a refund because for 29$ AND ME REPEATING MYSELF TWICE ABOUT MY ALLERGY. i deserve a refund. they did not do anything to help or make the situation better. Not okay. The manager tried telling my mother that they take the allergies very serious… then how did sesame seeds get on my rolls?? NOT OKAY. will be reporting and going to the higher up until this is dealt with.

I had ordered sushi twice, cucumber salad and a small portion of sushi rice. After my meal I walked to a coffee shop and while I was waiting for my order, I felt so sick in my stomach and thrown all the food up, I have been at least for 15 min at the coffee shops restroom. I felt nausea and really sick. I walked all the way back to he Rice and Sushi restaurant and told the waitress the meal I had was bad, I thrown up all my food, she had an attitude as I told her I got food poisoning from there food /Sushi and vomit all the food I ordered, right in front of the coffee shop. The waitress did not even apologized or made any effort for an apology or my give me my money back. I told her she has to take out the sushi I had, and not serve it as the sushi tuna was bad , she said she will let the kitchen know. This was it. The only one who apologized was the jung man at the entrance.

Our table was filthy and sticky with crumbs and spilled drink and maybe soy sauce on both of the two top tables we were placed at. We were not asked about drinks or addressed by staff for several minutes. At that point we decided to go elsewhere if the front of house is that disgusting the places I can’t see are likely worse. We will not return or order from this place. We did not order food so I rated it as average. The staff and atmosphere 1 star. They didn’t even question why we were leaving when passing several staff including an apparent manager on our exit.

This restaurant is great for bringing visiting members of your family from the Midwest. There is absolutely no spice to these dishes - even the ones that say they're spicy. The menu has a selection of dishes from pretty much any Asian country you can think of, which should have been our first clue. The food was okay, nothing I'd write home about, but the service was decent.

Regarding the many gluten-free items listed on the menu:
If you have celiac disease, do not order anything that is fried. Additionally, make sure you tell your waiter because they may take some additional steps to make sure there is no cross contamination from other dishes into your food. Several members of the staff weren't aware of celiac disease, so further explanation of why cross contamination was important had to be discussed.

Went here the other day and spent over $100 for sushi and a few sides, and wasn't impressed.

The rice did not seem like it was seasoned properly, in which case it was falling apart and had no flavors that would come from the vinegar/sugar. The unagi we ordered wasn't torched, which resulted in a rubbery texture rather than the Flaky crunchy texture it should have been. We also ordered a cucumber octopus salad that should have been marinated but seemed to be thrown together in a last-minute effort, resulting in more bland food.

I have been to Japan, lived in Hawaii, and lived in vegas. I know how good sushi can taste, but this place does not make it, and if you think it's because we are in Denver, I can tell you that there are much better places ive been to in Denver.

On a good note, the servers were fantastic, and the restaurant looks great.

A wannabe asian cusine restaurant that is falling very short of its goal. If you are craving asian food , then just go to any of your next-door chinese, thai, or sushi restaurants, and it will be much better. I tried this place years ago and recently gave it another try, disappointed once again. Cucumber salad was extremely old and cucumbers were limp and were completely yellow. Hot and sour soup tasted like it has chemicals in it, I could taste it over the broth. Pot stickers were cold were cooked poorly. Sushi tasted super fishy. 🤢 Draft beer system was broken. Server didn't check on us the entire meal. After she took our order we never saw her again for food or drink. Didn't bring us soy sauce, had to go find my own. Had to go to the front and ask the hostes to check us out. Rice is one of my go-tos in the Littleton area for a quick, tasty lunch. Today they informed us they were understaffed and so food would be slower. We understood and went ahead with our lunch plans. It was slower, but expectations were set in advance. However, when we gave our server our credit cards to pay she was gone for an unusually long time. So we decided to head inside to see if we could find her and pay. As we walked through the patio door, we saw our check and credit cards sitting in the open near a computer. The door was walked through is the main door to the patio so everyone who entered or exited from the patio was able to see our credit cards and could have simply grabbed them and walked out. In fact, we picked up our own credit cards and could have just left. Instead we waited for a manager so we could pay and report the issue. I understand staffing is challenging right now, but putting a customer’s credit card down in full view and reach of anyone who walks by is simply unacceptable. Our server did not apologize for the situation. While the manager did apologize he did not offer any sort of assurance that it would be addressed so it doesn’t happen again. Understaffing is understandable. Incompetence putting a customers personal finances at risk is not.

Service was horrible. Only came by to take our order and then we had to ask another server to flag down our server. When he came to the table he had the check. I guess that was our cue to leave. Wish I knew his name, but of course he didn't even introduce himself.

It wasn't crowded. Slow for food and even getting our check.

I will be back for sure! I have celiac and came here specifically for their gluten free sweet and sour chicken. I was not dissapointed! It was so good! They have tons of gluten free options! Just make sure you request it as gluten free as it says to do so on the menu. This will be a new fav place to visit!

This place shines for a subtle Sushi restaurant in Aspen Grove. Friendly staff and a wide ranging menu. I was impressed with the quality of ingredients. I order eel everywhere I go (my favorite) and this place didn’t disappoint. Great for anything: families, HH, casual date night. Seats in front of the sushi chef are available, no up charge. Free parking. A+.

Food was good. Was there early so hard to judge noise. We sat at tables in the bar area. My daughter dropped something on the floor and there was miscellaneous trash in corners between booth and wall (chop sticks, etc.) so could be cleaned better. Overall good experience.

I didn’t have overly high expectations, just because we are in Littleton. I came in, gave the chefs a budget and told them a few preferences… there were hits, there were things that weren’t exactly my favorite.

However when I tell you how creative the flavors were for somewhere in Littleton! I had flashbacks to Nobu... The quality of sushi was good, but the chefs ability to meld flavors and push past normal sushi without any mayo or something fried, it compelled me to write a review right after finishing.

Give it a shot, and I would recommend putting your fate in the chefs hands with any preferences you have.

Date night.. this experience was meh. Food was ok. The pot stickers we had were a bit undercooked, so they were a bit doughy. The steak in the steak fried rice was bland. Staff didn't really seem like they cared to be there. Perhaps a dress code to tell who they are might help as well. Overall most likely won't be back to this one.

I used to go to Rice all the time growing up and it was always good, however the last several times I’ve bought dinner from the Aspen Grove Location, it has been disappointing and lacking flavor and freshness. For how expensive it is, it is not worth the money, I’m sorry to say. It’s too bad because I used to really like Rice. Won’t be returning.

I have been eating at Rice for over 10 years and it is my go-to spot for a business lunch. Our experience yesterday, however, made me rethink it all! We arrive at 12:45 with a party of 4 adults and 1 kid, and we’re sat immediately. It took about 20 minutes for the waitress (who I think was new) to come and take our order and then it took another HOUR before we got our food. None of our orders were complex (a sushi roll, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and thin noodles - all off the lunch menu) so I have no idea why service was so incredibly poor.

I had to leave without eating because I had another meeting at work and had only allocated 1.5 hours to have my lunch. The food finally arrived at the table around 2:15, after I left. I am appalled at the lack of service and am shocked as this has not been my experience before. Maybe it’s under new management or there is new wait staff? Either way, I will think twice about going there again.

The other evening, my group of ladies met for dinner. It took an hour to get drinks to the table, my dinner of ginger shrimp was tasteless, too much egg and no ginger. Two of the appetizers looked the same and were tasteless. Not everything has to be fried, returned a breaded fish that was not listed as fried on the menu. Understand they have new management that charged 20 percent for bad food, and very slow service, such a waste of money.

I meet friends here often and we usually have great service this time the bartender waited on us and was horrible. She couldn't have been less interested in what we wanted or needed...she was clearly upset when we requested separate checks then when she brought them back she almost tossed them on the table.... She was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. The food was delicious as always next time if they want to sit was in the bar I will request somewhere else

Unfortunately this place has drastically gone downhill in the last few months. We’ve had 2 delivery orders get canceled without reason. Most recently, we decided to place a pickup order, the pickup estimate time was 6pm, the food was ready at 6:45. While I waited for food, someone complained about the state of the bathroom and another couple was taken to a table and didn’t even realize it had happened because the hostess didn’t even acknowledge them, just placed menus on the table. If you cannot sustain delivery or pickup orders, take yourself off the apps.

Normally good food, but we were SO disappointed by our recent experience there. My husband and I went this past Wednesday night to have dinner. We were immediately seated and served waters. And then we proceeded to sit there with no visit from a server for a full 15 mins. At that point, I let the host know and she assured us someone would come soon. We sat for another 5 full minutes and decided to walk out.

As a former server, I know what being in the weeds feels like (which could not have even been the case this time because the restaurant wasn't that busy), but that should never stop a server from at least stopping at their tables to quickly communicate what's going on/the delay.

Consistently delicious sushi and Chinese food. This is really the only Chinese food restaurant I trust to serve me gluten free entrees. I love the curry, fried rice, kung pao chicken, and sushi. They don't offer happy hour which would be nice. But overall you can count on healthy, yummy, high quality food in a clean environment with prompt, proficient service.
