On New Year’s Eve I dined at Ocean Prime and was thoroughly impressed. Our server, Tina, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being overbearing. From the moment we were seated, the service set the tone for an unforgettable meal.

The highlight of the evening was the perfectly cooked steak, tender and seasoned to perfection. It was complemented by the indulgent lobster mac and cheese, which was creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. Went here for sisters birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The food was great of course but the best part about it all was the great service. I wish I could have taken better photos, because the food looks mid, BUT it's not. The food was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, everything tasted fresh and amazing. Highly recommend for an anniversary date or a special occasion. I would definitely go back.

Top quality service. We've been here a few times. This was the first time we came by ourselves. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. He and another guy kept our table clean and free of crumbs, which seems small, but "cleanliness is next to godliness," and we felt pampered.
We ordered a second dessert to go. Everything was really good.

One of the best upscale restaurants I've been to here in Colorado. The customer service was amazing they really made sure we enjoyed every bit of our experience. The food came out fast but it was some of the best food I've had at a restaurant. 10/10 can't wait to come back!

Well worth the price. Brought my fiance here to celebrate a special occasion and it was flawless. The service was impeccable, and the food was amazing as always. I've never been to this location, only the one downtown so I wasn't sure what to expect. I feel it's a more elegant and calm feel at this location, whereas the denever location is a little more upbeat for the city vibe. Both are amazing. But I was really impressed and it fit the location. Our server was delightful and put up with all my allergies and special requests, and was one of the few servers that didn't decrease their service level or effort upon finding out we don't drink alcohol. You wouldn't believe the way we started getting lower quality service going out to eat once we stopped drinking.... its like servers realize that you're going to be a cheaper ticket and just stop giving a crap. Not here though. It was amazing. If youre on the fence about going DO IT.

So I usually never review chains, but Ocean Prime (while a chain) has a scratch kitchen and this location has some of the best staff I've ever had help me. Took the wifey here tonight to celebrate Saturday, and it was phenomenal. She had a steak flown in from Italy Piedmont or something like that, was the special tonight and had it Oscar style. I had the Florida Grouper. Both were so good! And as I mentioned the service was outstanding. She also had a cocktail called the Take Two and had two ha, because it was so tasty. What a great place for a nice romantic dinner. Don't pass on just because there's more than one...you'll love it!

Went here for my partners birthday. It was decent. The server seemed to forget about us at the end of the meal but the management was incredibly courteous and made sure that everything was alright multiple times. The lobster bisque was delicious, as was the chilean sea bass. Ultimately I think seafood in Colorado is just not as good as other areas. Also they put microplastic confetti all over our table which is a nice gesture but very wasteful.

My Husband and I celebrated our anniversary the other night and the food and the service was excellent. We had one of the best servers (shout out to Crystal at DTC) we have ever had and even the people around her helping were incredible. I started off with the Berries and Bubbles drink which was so fun and yummy!! Husband got an Old Fashion and said it was one of the best he has had! The halibut w/ Crab and gnocchi was so fresh and creamy! And the lobster linguini was delicious! Prices are very high, but are worth it for a nice night out.

I can't say enough about the experience my wife and I had on our spontaneous date night here Saturday, 12/21/24. Benjamin was one of the best waiters I have had in a very long time. He was very attentive and extremely friendly. He even went as far as bringing over a few sample wines for us to try that he recommended for our entree selections.

Speaking of food, let's get into that. First off, the steak tartare. Such an amazing dish. I have never had tartare before and felt adventurous. It was very delicious and the brief description of how they prepared it hand ground to order was a fun little tidbit.

My wife and I continued our meal with the lobster bisque and French onion soup both of which were amazing. The presentation of the lobster bisque was something else as well. It just added another layer of the atmosphere that puts it above all other restaurants.

Our entrees were the Scallops and Risotto and the Florida Grouper both of which, again, were absolutely amazing. See a trend here? The risotto and scallops were cooked to perfection and once again my adventurous side came out with the grouper and boy did it not disappoint. The wine pairing recommendations Benjamin made were spot on and once again added to our exceptional experience at Ocean Prime. We also decided we wanted to try the lobster mac 'n' cheese and the few bites we tried were amazing. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs for this adventure but the leftovers were welcomed for our lunch today.

We could not leave without having a taste of the Mike High Carrot Cake shown in many photos on Google and it did not disappoint. The 10 layer cake was rich and sweet and yet perfectly balanced with a pineapple purée that my wife and I had never imagined would have paired so well with it.

Overall, a 10/10 and would highly recommend. If making a reservation I suggest requesting Benjamin as your waiter and you will have a phenomenal experience. My wife and I will be coming back as often as possible and requesting Benjamin every time.

So disappointed! Had the filet and duel lobster tail - tails were way over cooked and like rubber and steak was so-so. In a place of this caliber, we were expecting the weight staff to ask us how everything was so we could tell them, no one ever asked us how everything was. It was EXTREMELY disappointing. We had all kinds of options to choose from and this is the one we chose and we unfortunately chose wrong. Perry's Steak house was so much better! Better food, better service, better atmosphere- we would suggest going there for your special occasions....we will be from now on!

Everything was perfect. The staff was amazing and attentive, and the food was perfect. I had the Filet Mignon (medium rare). Cooked to perfection. Crazy tender inside with a wonderful flavor to the seared outside. I highly suggest their old fashions for a drink. Just perfection!

I was so excited to try this restaurant because I’ve been wanting to for a while now. But I really regret I even did… I paid so much money just to get sick. Let me start by saying I don’t get sick very often and I know what I ate for lunch that day couldn’t have possibly made me sick. The manager said it could have been from all the butter in their food that made me sick. But I’ve ate food like that before and have never gotten sick…. I am almost 99.9% sure it was the lobster in the linguine that I ate for dinner here. Everything else I ate I shared with my friend and she isn’t sick. I am so very sad because all the food was so delicious, I was shocked when I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up. The atmosphere and the service was amazing but the food made me so sick I won’t be going back.

Went here for a 5 year wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Upon arrival told hostess we were there for reservations, hostess congratulated us on our anniversary and seated us at our table. Our table had rose pedals on it to honor our anniversary. Our servers were outstanding, were familiar with the menu and made recommendations. The food was great, cooked to our taste. Fillet was cooked to medium-rare as asked and the Florida Grouper was fresh and presented nicely. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale with good music playing in the background. It is what I expected an upscale, high-end restaurant to be.

Jenny our server in the lounge and she was fantastic. She answered all of my questions, dealt with my quirks and was attentive to my friends gluten allergy. She was honest when she didn't know and gathered the right answers for us. Food and obeisance was great but the service put this dinning experience over the top!!!!

Food is lovely. Truffle popcorn amazing. I think the measure of an establishment is the people it employs. From Garrick, the valet, who "checked in on my dog" so I could have a drink with a friend. He told me if he didn't show up, he would have my car waiting for me so I could leave. Thank you! To Eric our server who talked to the chef about making my warm molten lava cake, which was not on the menu. Hugs to the chef, who was willing to make that happen, but knew it wouldn't be in time. You are treated like the valued customer you are here Thank you!

A last minute decision to visit Tech Centers Ocean Prime results in a restaurant experience that won’t soon be beat.

Service… From the wait assistant to the expediters to the bus staff… ALL superior. Our server, Nathan however is a true professional. You know how busy he is, but he never makes you feel it.

Food… At Ocean Prime you’d expect great seafood or steaks. I’m a lamb chop fan however and have had them all over the country. I now have a new favorite. Perfect temperature and crust from a perfect sear. Salads, sides, all exceptional. Even the coffee is levels above!

Go to Ocean Prime! Sit in Nathan's section! Experience the tradition of quality!

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at Ocean Prime DTC. It was our anniversary and I was very impressed that several employees throughout the evening wished us a happy anniversary. A lot of restaurants don't acknowledge that even when you mention it when making the reservation.

Landon our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu. The calamari appetizer and seafood entrees we had (halibut and snapper) were outstanding. The desserts and drinks were amazing as well. We will definitely be back. This really is the perfect place for a special occasion or even just date night.

We went for my spouse’s birthday, and Ocean Prime made it a night to never forget. They prepped our table with a unique theme just for the occasion. The service and food were immaculate! The NY strip and truffle macaroni and cheese are a must-try. They even gave us a free dessert with Happy Birthday written on the dessert. They had a card with her name on it and a special message. Our waiter was attentive and ensured our experience was the best possible. The atmosphere is like no other.

I had the New York Strip Steak and it was tasty and flavorfull. Perfect temperature cooked all the way through.

Others in the party had Sea Bass. It was another hit. Smoked Mac, calamari, and ravioli side dishes went over well with our party. Also had a side of crab cakes but they were more so-so compared to everything else.

Staff supporting us were very good. Our drinks were kept full and empty dishes were rapidly cleared.

It was a great experience. I would definitely return.

This was my second time at OP, DTC. The first experience was out of this world so I had high expectations. Expect to spend $300 or so for a couple with drinks.

We went for a special occasion and I was so disappointed with the food. My husband’s steak was tough and he felt that Texas Roadhouse serves a better steak. I got the lobster linguini and the lobster was overcooked and rubbery with no flavor. It really lacked salt. DON’T STOP READING!

Our first experience was INCREDIBLE! I was honest with our server with no expectation of a discount. I just think it’s important to be honest. The manager, Thomas, came over and was so gracious and amazing. He went out of his way to make things right. We definitely will go back and try again. Everyone has a bad night, right?

We love going to the bar for happy hour and apps. Food is always terrific,and service typically is as well. Last few times the service has been sliding. Took a long time to order, and bartender made us feel like she was doing us a favor in taking our order. We'll give it another go, but not a reliable place to take clients right now.

It was my first time at Ocean Prime, and I thought it was pretty good. Steak was cooked to perfection. Sea Bass was amazing. Lobster Bisque was really tasty. My only compliments would be service related. I immediately noticed our waiters' attitude changed as soon as he realized we were not going to order alcohol. I could bring up a lot more details, but you get the point. Don't expect great service if you're younger looking and / or in a small group. Probably wouldn't come back on my dollar.

My fiancé and I were scoping out potential rehearsal dinner options and Ocean Prime was on our list. After dining there and getting to know the amazing waitstaff as well as Alex (their sales and events manager), we were absolutely blown away at how perfect and amazing our experience was. Dave was our server for the night and he was so helpful and informative on the menu as this was our first time dining here. He took perfect care of us and was absolutely amazing. Alex was super knowledgeable and helpful in showing us what our rehearsal dinner might look like if we went with them as well. From showing us the private dining room that we would be using as well as elaborating on what kind of menu items would be an option for us to choose from, she was delightful to speak with and was a great help to us. The food was to die for as well on top of all of that! My fiancé’s steak was beyond perfect and my lobster linguine was absolutely delicious. Land or sea, you can’t go wrong with any of it. Overall, Ocean Prime blew us away and we highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to treat their significant other to a great dinner or those about to get married and need an awesome rehearsal dinner location!

First visit here for our daughter's 30th birthday and WOW! Besides being seated in the very very back, the staff was amazing. The little touches like confetti on the table was thoughtful and the food and drinks? Outstanding! Had a special lobster tail. It melted in your mouth. Oysters were fresh and tasty and the carrot cake was to die for. The manager came to the table with our food which shows how everyone pitches in. A little claustrophobic in that back room bit still a great experience. We found a new favorite

Top quality service. We've been here a few times. This was the first time we came by ourselves. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. He and another guy kept our table clean and free of crumbs, which seems small, but "cleanliness is next to godliness," and we felt pampered.
We ordered a second dessert to go. Everything was really good.

I'm not sure what's happened to this place. It used to be packed and it was exciting to go there for drinks. I even hosted my 55th birthday party there in December 2019. I've been there three times in the last three months and it was dead and boring. The service and the food were very good.

100% yes. I loved everything about my time at Ocean Prime. I'm so glad my husband chose seafood for his birthday dinner because Ocean Prime was one of the best meals I have had in a long time and that's saying a lot because I usually have the best experiences when I go out to dinner. At Ocean Prime they really went above and beyond in every category. From the service, to the presentation, to the decor, and even the music. Everything was to my liking. And the food was divine. Each dish was cooked perfectly. Generous portions of the best ingredients. Flavor on point. And the service was attentive and went out of their way to do things I wasn't even expecting. Like when we took the desserts to go they put the creme brulee on dry ice. I would have just thrown away the creme brulee because I didn't think that you could take it home haha. I would never have bothered them to ask for dry ice for my dessert but that was such a sweet touch that they did that for me. My only qualm, if you could even call it that, would be that the menu is loaded with so many delicious options that it was hard to decide every step of the way. I want all of their entrees and all of their sides and all of their desserts and all of their cocktails haha. I guess I will have to come back. Thank you for providing such a nice night for us to enjoy a lovely meal. ♡

Seriously disappointed. This place has gone down hill. The oysters were puny. My shrimp cocktail was good, and so was the old fashioned, but our waitress disappeared 10 minutes before happy hour ended, and upset everybody who wanted another cocktail.

We sat at a table in the back- private but feeling stuck in the back! Frankly, for the price, the restaurant was with unelevated food and service. I consider myself a Foodie and very good home chef.
First of all the wine list for glasses of wine was poor.
The Caesar salad did not taste or look like a Caesar salad. For the price it was small. Someone should try to make tableside Caesar salad, the real way. Not necessarily with real anchovies, but perhaps paste. Honestly, I’m not sure that the chef has ever had a Caesar salad. To be fair, this is the same in many restaurants in Colorado.
They serve sparkling water, which is very good, but they make it themselves and still charge too much.
My filet mignon with scampi was excellent.
The Ahi tuna was Ok-the slices were too chunky and freshness a day old. The grouper also not the freshest.
I had a side of broccoli in an awkward bowl. If you’re going to charge $$$ for side dishes, then find a better plating presentation.
The oysters were too small but tasty.
I frequently go to Pappadeaux’s with family. They serve very fresher fish , even though they used too much oil and butter on their dishes. I think their Ahi is superior. Pappadeaux’s is a little bit cheaper than Ocean Prime and expectations are not as high. Oysters there are excellent also.
Even if patrons can afford Ocean Prime’s prices they still expect better plating and freshest fish. People don’t like to feel they wasted $. They should try a little harder.

Came to have dinner with my family on a Thursday evening. The service was terrible. From having us waiting for a table for ten minutes —when the place was empty, to vacuuming the carpet next to us while we were dining.

The waiter who was vacuuming didn’t even was his hands after he was done.

Then there was our waitress who never asked if we had any food sensitivities, dietary restrictions nor care much about giving good service or any service at all.

The food got to the table forty minutes after we order. The filet wasn’t medium rare. More like too cooked. The seabass was okay. Not the good quality we usually have at this establishment.

Our servers name is Kallie by the way. She really needs training.

We came to Ocean Prime for a quick bite to eat before a concert. We were celebrating a birthday as well. The photos below reflect the brussel sprouts, surf n turf appitizer, the ocean sushi roll & the creme brulee.

Atmosphere: I was a huge fan of the ambiance! It is elegant and lovely. We sat at the bar and it had a great vibe! The main dining area looked lovely too. The bathrooms were clean & smelled amazing - they were burning an "ocean prime" candle which I found out they sell ($35) - I want one for my home!

Service: We came on a friday night before a popular concert happening nearby. The bartenders were busy but we were still able to get good service from multiple bartenders. They were friendly and moving quickly.

Food: The food was flavorful. I loved the ocean sushi roll & would order it again! The scallops & creme brulee were also delicious! Great quality food.

I plan to go back for dinner & would highly recommend this place to others! Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Food and service were fantastic.
We split the surf and turf app, perfect scallops with a nice chunk of prime rib.
The lobster linguine had big pieces of lobster. The Grouper was the best part of the meal. Cocktails were unique and pleasant. Quality and pricing on par with Shanahans. Will definitely be going back as we wanted to try many more dishes.

My lobster tails were over seasoned and took away the delicate flavor of the lobster and my husband’s filet was so tender it melted in your mouth however we had to scrape off the heavy seasoning. I was encouraged to have a birthday dessert, which I thought was gifted like EddyV’s. However when we received the bill we were charged $19 for the piece of carrot cake. Sort of disappointed.

Ocean Prime knocked Mother's Day out of the park! Brunch was delicious, with plenty of options to please everyone at the table.

Mom raved about the Benedict, I loved the steak, and the mimosas kept the whole family smiling.

The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a special place to celebrate Mother's Day (or any day!), Ocean Prime is a fantastic choice.

We started with the Lonster Bisque, ordered for mains the teriyaki salmon and lobster linguine. We ended with the chocolate peanut butter pie and coffee. Highly recommend.

An unbelievable experience that starts from the moment you’re welcomed with genuine hospitality. John, the GM, Alex, Sales and Event Manager, Brandon, FOH Manager, and the exceptional Austin, sever/leader, with Isabel. The best birthday experience we have had as siblings. Even a personalized menu. While there are great restaurants like Shannahan’s, Eddie V’s, close by, nothing touches more than seeing John out touching tables and genuinely leading this incredible team. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Prime - Denver Tech Center, and it was truly a culinary experience like no other. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the elegant atmosphere and warm lighting. The decor was stylish and sophisticated, setting the tone for a special evening.

But it was the food that truly stole the show. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and complex, and the presentation was impeccable. And let's not forget the incredible steak - cooked to a perfect medium-rare, it was tender, juicy, and exploding with flavor.

And then there was the cocktail menu - a veritable treasure trove of creative concoctions. I tried the Cucumber Gimlet and was blown away by the refreshing combination of cucumber, lime, and gin. The presentation was almost too pretty to drink (almost).

The service was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, guiding us through the menu with expertise. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel welcome and valued.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Ocean Prime - Denver Tech Center. It's a gem in the Denver dining scene, and I can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a special night out or just want to treat yourself, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Perla was amazing. Last time we were here on New Year's Eve unfortunately we had a long wait and I was a little upset but she made it up to us.
