In 2019, a passionate visionary took over Aiki Sushi & Ramen with a singular ambition: to elevate every aspect of the food and dining experience. This wasn't just a business venture; it was a heartfelt commitment. With unwavering support from family and the tireless dedication of our staff, Aiki Sushi & Ramen has transformed into a gem within the Colorado Springs community. Our restaurant is not just a place to dine, but a testament to the spirit of unity, perseverance, and culinary excellence.
We decided to take a chance on this place, and it turned out to be just okay. Although the restaurant was clean, it was unorganized with random supplies in every corner. Ordering was a bit confusing. We were promptly served drinks, but it took a while to place our food order. The waitress noticed we hadn't ordered yet and spoke to the waiter. She then asked us to write our order on a scrap of paper, which added to the confusion.
We ordered the combo fried rice, spicy miso ramen, tiger roll, and angel roll. The meal began with a salad with ginger dressing, which I didn’t enjoy, although the salad was fresh.
The combo fried rice portion was generous and came with a miso soup that was overly salty. Unfortunately, the chicken didn’t taste right and some of the beef pieces had the same issue. The spicy miso ramen was just okay; it lacked a strong miso flavor and the pork was dry, though the noodles were nicely chewy.
The sushi was the highlight of the meal. Both the tiger roll and the angel roll matched their menu descriptions and tasted good. The sushi chef who brought out our sushi was pleasant and asked if we needed anything.
Overall, the experience was quite disorganized, with staff repeatedly asking if certain things had been done, like whether they had brought the miso soup or taken our order. I wouldn’t return for the menu dishes, but the sushi might warrant another visit.

We did not enjoy our experience at this place. We dined in. Lazy service- we had to write our order on a piece of paper, dirty plates were not picked up in a timely manner. Some odd music for the entire restaurant came from the server's phone. The food was very unimpressive. Pho looked and tasted like it was prepared with spaghetti noodles, which is very strange. The prices are way too high for the quality of food. We will not return.

I've shelved my expections on sushi after my timing living abroad, as it would not be fair to the restaurant to grade it by those standards in a landlocked state.
However, I was overall disappointed with my experience here. Aiki Sushi and Ramen feels like a cafe when stepping in. I was greeted by one of the two people behind the sushi bar.
After sitting and one of the two sushi chefs took my order, I realized that the ordering system would be written down. The owner behind the cashier counter stood there with little to do but look at the TV. When he did bring food, he was extremely soft-spoken.
I felt like some nigiri, and ordered a few salmon, hokkigai, saba, and hotategai.
I also ordered a veg yakisoba.
First, my sushi came out. It was smaller, but that was to be expected at $1 per piece. The rice was refrigerated and clumpy, and off-putting. As far as each fish went, the salmon and hokkigai were okay, and the saba was off even with its usual vinegary taste. The hotategai is where I was disappointed, as nothing on the menu said that it would be spicy. While I do love spicy food, I try to avoid it with sushi, as it taints the palate. Luckily, I was saving that for last in this visit.
For the little bit of soy sauce that I did use, do be careful when pouring it out. The containers spill a lot. I lost my napkin to that.
Miso soup came out during the sushi (as well as the entree).
The broth was okay. Not overly strong but reliant on miso rather than dashi, and I was happy to see soft tofu as well.
The entree was the star here, taking me back to yatai yakisoba at festivals. While the veggies tasted like they were cooked 8n a different sauce, the overall slightly tangy savory flavor was wonderful. Having it served on a house dinner plate was odd, but it too gave a good feeling.
I did my best to leave Japan in Japan, but it is places like this that make me think why it is okay for us to expect excellent burgers, steak, chicken, pizza, etc for a top dollar, yet we settle for mediocrity when it comes to Japanese food.

The food here is beyond amazing. Compared to many other sushi establishments in town, they beat out any place on price, creativity, portions and aesthetic presentation. I've never seen some of the combinations before that Zen offers and it was so dang pleasing to the taste buds. I couldn't stop eating and left there beyond satisfied. On top of that, the price really is better than many places for the amount of food you get. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because they did mess up on our order several times and the girl who served us seemed like she didn't know the ropes of being a server.

One of they hardest working ladies i have ever seen is our server almost everytime! Would run circles around half the servers i have had at other restaurants. They do get busy but the food is always great! Very reasonable priced and open late late! 5 stars!

We paid $100 for this meal (these are $17 rolls pictured!) - wouldn't ever order from this place again. Paid full price for rolls and apparently they offer half price if you call or walk in - I still wouldn't pay half price for this. Empty won tons, rolls were mostly rice and taste like nothing, sashimi was sad. Wouldn't return, there are better options for sushi anywhere you look. Reached out to the restaurant about this and never heard back.

All I have to say is the google rating this restaurant has is 1000% lies and has to be driven by the competition due to the amazing pricing. This is 5-star sushi anywhere on Earth. I had to write this after I saw the 3.7, that's just crazy. 5-stars.

Went here for Ramen since my go to spot was closed. Will not be going back. The ramen was extremely bland/tasted like water and the egg in the ramen was grey. When I sent the dish back the server didn’t ask if they could remake it or if I wanted something else. I can’t believe people eat here. 0/10

TLDR: Sushi was meh, server told us one thing then charged another, the restaurant looked kinda shabby.
I don’t think I’ll ever go back here again. My friend and I went and decided to both do the all you can eat. The server came over and gave us a sheet and told us what’s on it is the buffet and is half priced and that we’d have to pay extra for any leftovers. We got 2 miso soup, 3 nigiri, 1 tea, and 3 rolls. Altogether our total should have been around $30, give or take a few dollars. But then when we went to pay, the server came back over and said that we actually ordered “special rolls” that weren’t part of the half off deal and that she’d have to charge us full price for the rolls- despite them being on the buffet menu she gave us and had no indication they weren’t part of the deal. So we ended up paying like $72 for everything. And the worst part was that none of the food was really that good. The rolls were either bland or absolutely drenched in sauce. I didn’t even eat two of the pieces- I wrapped them in a napkin and hid them in my bag because I was sure she was gonna charge us who knows how much extra for them. And the restaurant also had a bunch of furniture and miscellaneous stuff stacked up in the back corner.

Stay alway from the shrimp dumplings... they tasted off and made my stomach feel weird
the ramen was alright but also has a weird fishy taste which was strange considering I ordered a pork base. I'm glad I didn't end up ordering any sushi.
Me and my guest got our food 15 mins apart... whole experience was kinda bad. Don't recommend to anyone.

Come for the sushi, our group of 5 had various sushi rolls and 2 had all you can eat dinner (they got their money's worth). There was a large variety of sushi rolls, and they make a good seaweed salad. Not a fancy place, the atmosphere is more like a fast food joint, but the sushi prices make up for the lackluster ambience.

Nothing bad happened, But the quality is not there for the price. The all you can eat system is strange. They really want you to place your order all at once and the service is lackluster. I usually refrain from bad reviews to not help hurt a business, but it’s just not good and makes your stomach queasy afterwards. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Not an overall good experience. I do wish them well and hope they improve their standards!

You don’t wanna eat or work here.
The owner takes your tips and does a lot of sketchy things. The meat would get cut in the office, cutting boards on the floor, no dates on product (the only time they’ll throw something out is when it smells funky), walkin fridge would smell funky too, the drink fountain never gets cleaned, etc
If you’re a server you’re forced to work alone, and do stuff that’s not even a servers job for only 10$/hour!
There’s so many health and labor violations. do not eat the food here.

If I could give them a Michelin star, I would. 11/10 on food, service and prices. The $1 nigiri and half priced rolls were amazing. But the ramen was the best I have ever had. Keep it up!

Nice smaller spot with great service and prices. The lunch all you can eat option is very affordable. But I did hope for a few more non-fried options. This is somewhat made up for with a few uncommon nigiri options like red snapper and ono.
Still a very solid option.

I’ve been here a few times but I think they may be under new ownership.
We ordered 2 lunch plates, chicken and beef, and I only ate my rice. My companion only ate the rice and California rolls.
The salad was chunks of iceberg with a small squirt of ginger dressing; visually it was underwhelming and so was the flavor.
Our proteins were wildly overcooked. My beef was so overcooked i couldn’t chew it and had to spit it out. The ‘teriyaki’ sauce is very thick and was squirted on top of the overcooked beef. My wife’s chicken was the same.
Most disappointing was the Tempura. It was way, way overcooked. It was so overcooked it had turned almost brown. It was overbattered so each bite was a mess of overcooked batter and overcooked veggies - I didn’t even dare to try the shrimp.
Visited a year ago
Food was rushed. Undercooked calamari. Beef pieces looked like mice. Sushi had a stale and unpleasant taste like the cream cheese was old. My egg roll was burned to the point the meat didn’t even look edible. I had done a grubhub order, and my order was absolutely ruined. Asked for my door to be knocked on thrice, only received a picture and my food was tilting over. All of my sauces had fallen out all over my boxes of food. Not to mention, I couldn’t get past a few bites. Now it’s my responsibility to do food poisoning prevention. Terrible delivery, terrible food, terrible service. 0/10.

Ordered Ramen to go. They had one table with the limited Togo options. They made us write down our own order using a pencil and paper. And messed up the order by not having chicken with one of the orders. The lady was short tempered and literally snatched the paper and closed the menu and took it out of my husbands hand as soon as he finished writing. The to go order took a long time but the food was good once we got home.

My husband and I decided to try it because they were advertising %50 off all rolls. Well, it's basically supermarket sushi. The atmosphere was ok, nothing special, server was not very attentive, and the same song was on repeat the entire time we spent here. The sushi rice was dry and it had no rice vinegar seasoning, which made it very tasteless. It was not sticky, so the rolls were falling apart even before I picked them up... there was SO much rice left on my plate from the disintegrating rolls. The chefs spoke Spanish to each other, and every Ramen dish had cooked corn in it?! The rolls were kind of bland, and one tasted "off". Just nasty. Will never come back.

Lots to choose from abd the sushi tastes the best here compared to everywhere I've been in Colorado Springs

Entrees were 2 bites, literally, and the salmon smelled extra fishy. I took a bite and got that flushed feeling when your body knows it ate something bad. I turned the salmon over and it was off colored. Almost green.. salmon is one of my favorite dishes when I go out. I grew up on the coast around seafood all my life as well. I know my seafood and i know the salmon was going bad. My roommate also felt sick after one bite. I paid $38 for baby portions and to get sick.

If you don't have the time or energy to read the scathing review I'm about to write here are the highlights: awful food, overpriced, and terrible condescending service 0/10 would not recommend.
Now if you want all the nitty gritty details, here they are: quite honestly the sushi here is terrible. My family and I eat a lot of sushi and this place is by far the worst I've ever had. The prices for the individual rolls are insane. Up to $20 for a single roll. The all you can eat option is $32 and they don't even offer the whole sushi menu with it. When one person ordered a second round (they only got 3 rolls the first one) the server said that people don't usually order more than one plate and didn't want to put in the order. She only did when we assured her multiple times that it would be eaten. One of the rolls was so gross it was inedible. When we told our server that, she responded that because we didn't eat it we would have to pay full price for the roll on top of the all you can eat price. After that we cancelled the rest of our order because we just wanted to leave and she told us that usually they would charge us for the cancelled order too, but she wasn't going to this time like it was some big favor she was doing for us. Not charging us for the food we didn't get. Not only that but then they charged us the child's price for the all you can eat for a literal infant. When we explained that she was under 3 she and her manager kept arguing with us as to why they felt like they needed to charge us for an infant. Save yourself the sorrow and go somewhere else.

I usually order from Oka Ramen but wanted to try Aiki. I was very disappointed when I received my to-go order (pics for reference). The cup size was only filled a third of the way. So I didn't even get a good amount of the broth, meat, & veggies. I'm not sure how this happened but this is not what I paid for. I will continue going to Oka Ramen because I always get a full meal with them.

The rolls are great but they are deceitful in their pricing. They tell you it’s 25% off, which they give you but, the menu doesn’t reflect their actual prices. Spend the money and print some new menus that have the real prices instead of tricking your customers.

No complaints about the service but the food wasn't good. The fake crab and spicy tuna were ok. The unagi roll had a microscopic amount of eel. The salmon roll was disgusting and had a super fishy taste as if the salmon was really old or not meant for sushi. We eat quite a bit of sushi and this place is the worst one we've been to in the springs.

They try to be nice but also it's pretty awkward. Service has been a funny thing for a few months. Between empty soy sauce containers and ignoring orders (tonight my roll was completely missed) it's in steady decline. the half price rolls are gone but the menu misleadingly still displays the half price next to them. I won't be going back but I wish them well. The second star is purely because I didn't have to argue to take the forgotten roll of our bill.

This place is disgusting. Sushi was inedible, the appetizer was too, (creamy jalapeno), when it was returned the staff talked about my husband and I in Spanish and said we were the problem not their food. Not to mention that the manager told the staff in Spanish, to only throw away the jalapeño with a bite on it, to keep the rest because there was nothing wrong with it. I do not recommend this place at all, service is awful and food gave me diarrhea. I can see now why this restaurant is always empty.

I spent over $30 and called to get a refund since I’ve been sick, they refused without a dr bill which is absolutely ridiculous. The server lady was nice, but my food was bad. Putting it nicely, it was bad. The Japanese food and sushi looked nice. But I don't eat sushi so I ordered Chinese food they served. The sesame chicken was like a cheap honey chicken, so I asked for the general Tao chicken to replace it. Honey chicken is too sweet for me so I never ordered it. The General Tao chicken had a small amount of spice, but tasted like it was tossed in honey too. I was able to eat it still. But that took nearly an hour to get my replacement. Then my egg roll was crispy and raw. So with food I could sort of eat I was given an egg roll that still had raw dough. Very noticeable and stretchy dough. 2 hours of disappointment. Would have been happier at Panda Express.
NOT saying anything bad about their Japanese food. I didn't try it. Maybe that's better

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Hands down the WORST restaurant experience I have ever had. I have never in my life sent food back or not pay for something I didn’t like.
The server was very rude, disrespectful, and unwelcoming. He didn’t seat us, bring us plates , or utensils. We asked him what the names of the sauces they carried were and he got frustrated and snappy. He didn’t want to be there and it showed..I was extremely polite from beginning to end. Our sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely awful. They smelled terrible. We did not eat them. The server was on the phone with the owner and was telling us “ you ordered this so you have to pay for it. It’s not our fault you don’t like it.” I understand that but take care of your guests man! I’m embarrassed for them for serving us such awful quality items. It’s funny how the server became so nice to us after I told him I didn’t want pay for the items we didn’t like. If we received even a little bit of good service or even polite service I would have been happy to pay for the rolls we didn’t touch. But never in my life have I felt so uncomfortable for eating in a restaurant. I was willing to pay for the things we did slightly enjoyed! (Which I did)
Carlos the chef was wonderful and brought us plates and took the items off the bill. If you can avoid going here, Please save your self from the worst experience you’ll ever have.

I’m not sure how it is possible. But I ordered 4 different rolls and none of them had a good flavor. Had to use a LOT of soy sauce. Very small rolls as well. But the presentation was nice! The orchid flower on them must be why they are so expensive? I’ll definitely give them a second try to see if it was just an off night. I’m just used to larger rolls that have so much flavor and moist rice that soy sauce is not even needed.

Ordered sushi rolls and udon to go and it took about 30 minutes past the pickup time for the food to be ready. The udon was mediocre and the restaurant did not give us the 4 piece California roll that is supposed to come with it.

Experience was TERRIBLE! Service was absolutely horrendous. First waitress didn't understand English, then male waitor came over and didn't seem to care about our order. I ordered miso for me and my husband which we didn't get until our sushi arrived 30 mins later and after asking for it again. After we ordered we didn't see the waitstaff again until our sushi showed up. My husband's Naruto roll and Caterpillar roll seemed to be made with imitation crab meat that had gone bad. He didn't even eat three of the pieces for fear of getting food poisoning. Once the male waitor came over we told him about the rolls not tasting good, and he said "I'm sorry" then proceeded to immediately walk away. When he came back 20 mins later none of my husband's food was taken off the $60 bill. So they made us pay for food we couldn't even eat. Unless you prefer a terrible dining experience with the possibility of food poisoning, DO NOT EAT HERE!

Service is on-point! Sushi is incredible - Very unique & interesting ingredients on their menu. I definitely recommend this place. I had 5 pieces of Nigiri (pic says sashimi - oops!) & 2 baked/cooked rolls - the volcano roll & the monkey brains (which is crab & fried avocado - no brains at all!) They serve dishes with orange slices & edible plumeria flowers. This is my new sushi spot, for sure!
(My apologies for not getting a pic of the monkey brains - I dug in so fast before I realized that I had missed my photo opportunity!)

Updating my review after my 2nd visit: Still outstanding foods! This time, I ordered 6 pieces of Nigiri/Sashimi & 2 different rolls. The Rocky Mountain Roll is fried, served warm & has so many flavors going on! The Halloween Roll is served cold & has lots of cream cheese! Mmmmm!!! Both have a hint of spiciness.

We came here after a terrible experience at another sushi spot in town where we had to just walk out waiting for service. Once here we ordered the Playboy Sushi which was delicious, followed by a very good Shoyu Ramen. Will come again.

I just wanted to point out to Olena V who left an unfavorable review(which is fine) that it’s not Pho(Pho is Vietnamese). It’s either Ramen or Udon that you ordered. Please try to be accurate as a “Local Guide” since people “look up to you” for valid references at nearby eateries.

I just waited 30 minutes for the owner to share that I would be waiting another 30 minutes for my food because he never put in the order. I am a black woman who he refused to acknowledge and sit, instead greeting and seating the white couple behind me. I would have ignored the initial slight but these guys deserve to lose business. Do not come here or Sushi Rakkyo unless you want to support racist owners whose own employees complain of their unethical ways. BEWARE!

Worst sushi I have ever had! Not fresh and tasted very bland

Was in to eat on Saturday and it was busy so we were worried our order would take a long time but our male server reassured us our order would be timely and his recommendation was perfect and spot on. They had fox news on the tvs which we thought was weird but we can’t wait to go back and see what he recommends! Wish I caught his name! If you see this thanks man! The price was awesome, the quality was great, and excellent service. Would highly suggest to a friend

Ordered 10 pieces of salmon nigiri from this place last night. It was so rancid, I couldn't even bare to smell it without gagging. Worst sushi experience of my life, by far. Low quality or old/rotting fish. Even so, the portions were also much smaller than usual. I'll be finding somewhere else to spend my money. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Stopped in the Greek Cafe to get dinner and decided to swing in for a couple of California rolls to heck the place out. It's 2:30 in the afternoon and the doors are locked and employees sitting at tables in the window
Sign on door says 11 am to 930 pm. Guess I won't be giving them a try.

2022 latest update: Since the older lady isn't here anymore and there's a dude server now, service has really gone downhill. The server is never happy it seems and it takes forever to get our food now. Not only that but we got really dirty menus the list time we came through. Kind of sad to see the service go downhill. Was really hoping to love this place for a while but I doubt I'll be a regular again.
Update: my new go to sushi place after trying a bunch in the area. Staff is nice, good is still as great as the first time.
Came here last minute for To-Go and the food was really good still.
Price is fair too although the place is a little hard to go into, it's worth a shot if your in the area.

Ordered take out and sat inside to wait. Watched two customers who came in after I had ordered be seated, have their orders taken and get their food before I did. We ordered sushi just like those customers. The chefs don't work on takeout orders at all if they're working on other customers food. Took 35 minutes to get a meal that took them less than 10 for orders that came after mine. Never coming back here- absolutely DO NOT order takeout from this place.

I ordered This through Uber eats- I was sooooooo impressed with the customer service. I’m sort of a Uber eats regular and I know the restaurants are in charge of getting it all ready. 8/10 of my orders are not done correctly. I was afraid that would happen again. They did everything exactly as I asked. Everything was packaged nicely and beautifully. The food tasted amazing on top of the service. I 1000% recommend this place. We are sushi “regulars” and were impressed by the food. We will definitely be eating there anytime we are in Colorado Springs.

Love this sushi so much! GREAT prices. It's right next to my chiropractor, Radix, and I'm now tempted to buy sushi every time I have an adjustment. Sushi Aiki seems to be a well-kept secret of Colorado Springs that needs to be made known!

Aiki Sushi is certainly a downgrade from what Zen used to be. We dined in, and met a uncomfortable atmosphere. We were told to write our order on cut up used documents. The music was loud, melancholy Mariachi music and fox News. The walls are red and bright yellow, nothing to make you relaxed. And the waiter kept staring at me and the rest of my table, that made us very unsettled. The sushi was WARM. And nothing tasted particularly fresh. I hope we don't get sick from this food. We left completely unsatisfied.

Ordered delivery - disappointing sushi, disappointing ramen, disappointing tempura.
All the raw fish in the sushi was warm - like warm, warm - as if it had been under a lamp waiting for pickup? The SIZE of the fish portions in the sushi are SO small, smaller than I've seen from any sushi restaurant ever.
The "soft-boiled" egg in the ramen was VERY hard boiled, the broth tasted a bit like dishwater.
The veggie tempura tasted more like corn starch than anything else.
There are MUCH better options for this cuisine in a relatively close radius. Spend your money at one of those instead!! This is so far from worth the money.

Total rip off. I ordered online and picked up myself. They charged me double, as there was a sign on the door saying 50% off. But because I ordered online, I did not get the discount. Very small amount and not good at all. Rice was terrible. Do not waste your money or time. I called and was told too bad.

Literally one of the BEST sushi restaurants I’ve come across.
They put in the effort, I know how busy they get and STILL they try to personalize each dish to be perfect for the consumer.
Amazing!
I order from them through Uber Eats allot, actually.
Not only are they super affordable WITHOUT being one of the places that sells “cheap fish” (THEY DONT, it’s GOOD, and tastes fresh, not days old like other places can tend to taste), but they have an AMAZING menu to choose from, selection/variety wise.
If you go in and sit in, they have an even larger menu then if you were to solely order online. AND they’re hella nice! Definitely worth it to checkout!
Did I mention that they sell sashimi and nigiri for only $1 a piece?!?
“They must be small pieces then-“
NOPEE, they plate them like art (even in my to-go box), and not only are they great proportions but like I mentioned before, ITS FRESH 💛
They also sometimes make the wasabi into little leaf shapes, it’s super cute!
I’ve been a solid customer for over a year now, I found them within a month I moved to Colorado in 2020.
I don’t work there, I don’t really even know anyone there, I’m not here tryna toot a horn.
Im just tryna tell people that love sushi, HEY, this place sells some PREEEETTYYY good yum yums ^~^
Don’t take my word for it, check them out!
And once again, thank you Sushi Aiki for keeping my sushi obsessed belly full.
Much love!❤️

I’m a huge sushi gal, and this is hands down the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Tasteless, the fish was definitely bad, rice was over cooked so it was like slimy and squishy. They have a half off deal, but even at half off i felt it was overpriced. Never again
Visited 3 years ago
Quite possibly the worst sushi experience I've had. The rolls were ridiculously small, which okay... I guess it happens.
This is the weakest Chirashi dinner I've ever ever come across, and feels like a slap in the face. Why is there so much shrimp? Why is there so little variety? I feel completely robbed. I didn't order a plate of shrimp
Go to the Sushi Spot. They know how to properly prepare a Chirashi plate.
EDIT: Changed review to a one-star because the fish was very mediocre.

Sushi Aiki is probably the only good "budget" sushi I've ever had. If you eat in or carry out (basically, anything but Door dash/Uber eats) sushi rolls are half price. Philly rolls and similar are ~ $3 and fancy rolls are ~$7-8. Rare to be able to get sushi for two and both come out full for $25!

I am somewhat of a sushi connoisseur. I absolutely love sushi, and I've been all over the country trying many different sushi places, and I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the best sushi experience of my life.
The fish was amazingly fresh, as were all of the ingredients. Even the miso soup was outstanding.
The customer service was flawless, with my server apologizing for being so busy, even though we received all the help we wanted on time. Even our meal was prepared without much delay.
It is truly the staff that makes a place wonderful, and in this case, these guys absolutely made my night wonderful. If you like sushi and are looking for a good shop then look no further. Aiki will shock you with the sheer quality.

This place is okay, their sushi did not impress me but their cooked items are fairly good. Sushi rice is not seasoned well at all, and the seaweed they use is not crisp or snappy but quite soggy. Not much in the rolls for the price
Visited 4 years ago
We paid $100 for this meal (these are $17 rolls pictured!) - wouldn't ever order from this place again. Paid full price for rolls and apparently they offer half price if you call or walk in - I still wouldn't pay half price for this. Empty won tons, rolls were mostly rice and taste like nothing, sashimi was sad. Wouldn't return, there are better options for sushi anywhere you look. Reached out to the restaurant about this and never heard back.

FOOD: 9/10. The food is delicious. This is the 8th or 9th time I've ordered from here and the food is consistently good. My order has only been messed up once when I asked for no masago on my order and it was removed from one roll but not the other two rolls. I will not eat it and since a friend picked it up to have lunch at my house - I didn't want to take it back (it's a 25 minute drive one way) so I did my best to get it off but couldn't and ended up throwing $30 in sushi rolls away. I was hesitant to give them another chance but did because this was where my friend wanted to order from. Going forward, I will not leave with food until its been checked it.
PORTIONS: 10/10. The rolls are portioned like most every other sushi restaurant.
DRINKS: N/A - We ordered water but the waitress kept our glasses full.
SERVICE: 6/10. There was a language barrier but she made little to no effort to interact with us.
ENVIRONMENT: The environment was clean. We were the only customers when we arrived. A while later another couple showed up and were seated right next to us, instead of putting a little space between or tables.
RESTROOMS: They're NOT gender neutral.

Got home and realized 2 rolls were missing. Called them right away and she said she packed it in the bottom, we explained we ordered and paid for 3 of the same roll. She had forgotten to write we needed 3 instead of 1. Rolls were incredibly small and EXPENSIVE.
My biggest complaint is we drive up and their huge sign says "All Sushi Rolls 50% off" and we paid full price for 6 rolls. They need to honor this for their pick up customers who order over the phone/online.

Initial thoughts were that the establishment seemed run down. There was a two way mirror and a tv playing womens college softball, high volume, towards the back where I was seated, which made it difficult to communicate with my date. We were assisted by 2 waitresses, both whom were friendly. There was no hot sake, so we were asked if we wanted to try cold sake. Our waitress brought 2 options, and we selected one. No prices were given when we ordered, and when our bill came, the tiny bottle had been $18.00!! We have bought the same bottle before at other sushi establishments for $10-$12, so we were shocked!
The sushi itself came out very quickly. It was made well, and had good flavors, but it was warmer than what I am used to, and the ingredients did not seem as fresh as some of the other establishments I have been to. I was disappointed that almost every roll had fried shrimp tempura as the main ingredient, and with the speed that the food came out, I suspect there was pre-made fried shrimp sitting out and that it is not made per order.
We also orderd the fried cheese wontons, which were very doughy at the center and served with the hot pink sweet and sour sauce you would expect at a Chinese restuarant.
We went here for the appeal of the Half Price Rolls, but ended up spending more than we do at higher quality establishments, and while everything was palatable, I certainly wouldn't recommend to my friends or family.

Not too crowded, sanitizer on the tables, thank you. Service was perfect, and the Sushi was Great, as always, half price!! I ate alone, but took takeout for hubby, and it was just as perfect... He loved the Goyzo appetizer, I very much enjoyed the Miso... Two big eaters satisfied, including tip, for under $50😉
