In addition to sushi, Ai offers tempura, teriyaki, rice bowls and noodle soups. For a little excitement, take a seat at one of our hibachi tables and let our culinary samurais dazzle you with a fiery show. What happens behind the sushi bar is what separates Ai from the rest. Our sushi chefs bring a perfect mixture of technique and innovation to deliver this town’s best array of nigiri, sashimi, and rolls.
I didn't know what to expect of the Ai Sushi & Grill at this location. Our server broke down all those walls with her friendly and playful demeanor. I was quite satisfied with her service. Both my partner and I felt comfortable interacting with her and laughing together.
The sushi chef made our dish look SO good! I was excited to try new rolls that I have never had the pleasure of indulging in. They served some of the best Sake (Salmon) that we have ever eaten at a sushi restaurant. Their Miso Soup had mushrooms in it which was a great addition and also unique to this location. We ordered the Godfather, a Shrimp Tempura Roll, the Lion King, and the Yakiniku.
The Yakiniku was my first introduction to a warm sushi dish that I have ever had. The Jalapeño, Onion. And Teriyaki Beef Toppings were so delicious! I was scraping the plate after eating that one!
The restroom was clean as well as the restaurant. It looks as though the restauraunt could use some touch up as far as paint and environment though and honestly, it did not take away from the experience but it was something I did notice while we were waiting for our food.
I would come back to this location anytime in the future and would recommend it for anybody looking for great service and excellent sushi!!
Thank you Ai Sushi & Grill!!

I guess they're under new management. I'm not very fond of the new management. I was charged two dollars for 2 tiny slices of lemons to go with my escolor ( it is usually served with 2 slices). My super crunch was not very super. I've had it here before, but it never tasted on the sour side. I've ordered the deep fried cheesecake before to go. And the gentleman told me that it didn't look very good. Which I know I've had in the past but the taste was horrible. I don't know what kind of strawberries they used or where they used them from, but they were very old. I tried to call them and nobody answered. So I got this in my email to comment on.

Food was ok and it was looking to be not so bad.I drink quite a bit of tea.We get the bill and tea was $10.50.I guess there is not free refills I got 3 1/2 tea's .And our salads used to be free with the meal.I know it's my fault for not looking at the menu. But it would have been nice to have been told that it's not free refills. After this experience I will no longer be going back. There is so many more places with quality food and service,And really reasonable priced. The place was beautiful inside. Je, our server was amazing and the sweetest. We calamari for the starter being there was a large variety in sushi. The calamari was definitely over cooked and the sauce that is came with was a weird combination with it. We ordered sushi, when it came out it was absolutely beautiful. The taste was good but it wasn’t amazing. The fish didn’t seem fresh for the price you pay for it. But it was later at night so I’ll give it another try.

AI has by far the best sushi in Colorado Springs! Quality, quantity, and superb taste! Our service was great and we loved every bite. The meals for the non-sushi eating guests were great too. My Mom had a beautiful piece of salmon that she really enjoyed.

Went with family for lunch, there was only 5 tables with customers including us. Only one waitress. Wait to get menu- 10 min, wait for get order - another 10 min, wait to get food- almost 20 min. Had to ask for everything- spoons for udon and chopsticks for sushi, even napkins. Pricey sushi had aftertaste, but udon was good, very flavorful, that is why I gave food 3 stars. Crossed out this place from my "sushi" list. No sure what happened, as I remember it was pretty decent place.

Excellent quality sushi and the wait staff are professional and attentive. Their specialty rolls are original and worth every penny.

I bought the duck gyoza and the super crunch roll. The gyoza is $13 for four tiny pieces and it does not taste like duck at all. There are no duck pieces inside either. Just tiny cubes of meat that taste like ham. The whole thing tastes almost exactly like a ham n cheese hot pocket. The price equals $3.25 per piece and that is insanity to charge so much for something that is so mediocre. The only good thing I can say about it is that it was pleasantly crunchy and warm. The roll was ok, nothing to write home about, but it wasnt bad either. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, it wasnt busy when I came to eat around lunch time. The waitress was very nice and gave great service. I would not choose to eat here again unless there were no other options.

Even though it's a smaller hibachi it was still fun and food was amazing for a group of 7. The staff were very welcoming and they seemed like they generally liked their job. Which is rare in today's age. Highly recommend!

We did the hibachi. The guy who cooked our food overcooked my steak (asked for rare, got well-done). All he did was cook the food. No showmanship, jokes, or tricks. I had to ask for the sauces after he was done cooking. He should have poured the sauces before he started cooking.
The service started out nice, but then after we got our food we waited a long time to get any attention. I finally had to get up and go find our waitperson to get the checj.

Overpriced, misshapen rolls and wether or not they're open depends on their mood apparently. The last two times I tried to go, they'd changed their schedule. While their sushi was fresh, the portions were small; even for sushi, the rolls were misshapen, and the sweet potato tempura rolls had uncooked sweet potatoes in them.
Honestly, I just taught myself how to make sushi at home and it's already several times better and cheaper than this overpriced restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere if you want quality sushi.

I used to go here all the time over the years. Sad to say that the changes they have made in that time, were not good. Quality has gone downhill, size of sushi is smaller, ingredients are different and not as good, and prices are high compared to other sushi restaurants in town. $40 on 2 rolls and my husband and I wouldn't eat more than a couple pieces before throwing it away. Very disappointing.

Slooooow service .....considering they were totally dead. The Imperial Duck Wontons were unevenly cooked, greasy, snd over-priced. The salad was fine. The yellow taio roll was ok. The unagi and fancy pansy rolls were good. The titanic roll was the best. But seriously, the service was really disappointing. I dont think it was one person's fault, it was the whole place. Good thing there are others to choose from in the Springs.

We made a reservation the day before so no excuse for not being prepared. We asked after we were served food & had to wait to even get utensils to eat with. Soup was watered down. Salad came after we were served our food. Shrimp was rubbery & the chicken tasted odd. I didn’t hardly eat anything. 7 of us were there and the place was pretty much empty on a Saturday night speaks volumes about that restaurant. Staff was slow and not on task. The food was horrible. Never again.

Very tasty meal and genuine service. Thanks guys!

Absolute worst place to eat sushi! Prices were outrageous for the small amount of food you get. Also how is it they can mess up a sushi order?!? Well it’s possible if you order here. Don’t waste your time getting sushi here portions are for children and the wait time is horrific! Wait staff is rude and place was filthy dirty dried crunchy rice all over the floor and left over dirty dishes on the counter and tables. Your wait time stems from them taking their time cleaning the dishes away. Just stay away. Lots of other great places for sushi in the springs! Not this one!

We came to have a quick lunch. We ordered bento boxes from the menu. The restaurant was not crowded. The waitress was very nice. Soup and salad were served in a timely manner. The bento boxes took over one hour to get to our table. The waitress apologized but could not hurry the kitchen. Multiple people arrived after us, were served, and left before our meals were served. When it finally arrived, the chicken bento box arrived with cold chicken. The tofu bento box had the oddest tofu preparation we have ever seen. The restaurant did not offer any excuse or compensation. We will not return to this restaurant. Not recommended.

This restaurant was one of my boyfriend and I’s favorites. We went in on Friday and the menu has drastically changed. They used to have a huge array of rolls to choose from and now it is a bare-bones menu. All of our favorite rolls are gone! Now in order to get a fried roll, it is $2 extra. I ordered a fried roll and the consistency of the roll was strange and seemed partially fried. The roll was so plain. My boyfriend and I are going to have to find a new sushi spot. It is too bad because we love the environment and the staff is friendly.

I called to order a shrimp rice bowl, which I was reading off the online menu, that included a salad and soup. As I am ordering it I am told that it does not come with that only dine in. Menu items should be the same whether you are picking up or dining in and the sad part is I really like that place and it is close to the house. I am sick and just wanted some of their food. I will be rethinking going there again, it is sad that you rip people off because they want to pick up dinner. No paying for a salad and soup when it should come with it as the menu states!!

Okay...sushi was great, however the utensils and serving plates were super old and chipped. The sauce holder was dirty also chipped... It's odd because the sushi and service is good but feels like no money is put back into the business. REALLY think about investing in new serving plates, sauce holders ect (im not sure if its good to continue to use with all the chips in the plates not sure what chemicals are in them or if you're getting pieces of porcelain).. Other than that i would recommend it for the food or takeout.
Fix the chips in the serving ware and you guys would be a solid 5/5

What an absolutely one a kind experience we had at our dinner night! This was the best hibachi my hubby and I have had. Devonte our chef was absolutely phenomenal, he made the experience worth every penny. And honestly who ever commented about smoke in their face chose the wrong environment for HIMSELF. Cant go into a seafood restaurant and complain about the smell of seafood. Best Hibachi restaurant in springs!

This was the worst hibachi experience I have ever had! Took my daughter here for daddy daughter date night and to say we were let down is an understatement. We sat at the table for almost an hour before our chef even started cooking. He came out and literally just cooked the food. There was no form of interaction, entertainment or "tricks". We can cook food at home, but we go out for hibatchi for the entertainment. Not to mention the fan didn't work, so all the smoke and steam would blow directly into my face the entire time. The chef made zero efforts in correcting this or even addressing it. Even the people sitting at our table mentioned it! I am not one to complain, but this was such a horrible experience I couldn't help but to voice my dissatification. We will be going to the powers AI location going forward. It's a much nicer location and have always enjoyed our experience and the staff. Avoid this location at all cost!

The place was absolutely amazing! The staff were so polite and welcoming, when we walked in, they greated us with a welcoming smile. The place was super relaxing and calm. They had cute decorations and were pleasing to look at. There were 2 TVS, and both kept you from getting bored, and there was a super cool guy doing some cool chef work! And oh, the food, one of the best meals I've had at an Oriental place. I got a bento with mouth-watering chicken teriyaki, volcano shrimp stands for its name! And some kinda pot sticker things? When you finished eating them, you hoped for more, and some well prepared sushi, very good. We also got salad and miso soup before our main meals, those were phenomenal! The rice they served was sooooo good, and went great along with the meal.

I went last night with a friend for the teppanyaki/hibachi and it was a nice experience. Our chef was super funny and sweet, plus the food was really good.
The only thing we didn’t like was that while we were starting to eat, the servers were already putting chairs up on the table, which made us uncomfortable. We arrived at 7:15pm, and when our food was finished at 8pm, they started closing while people were eating. Completely understand that it's near closing time, but when we just started to eat, it kinda pressures us to finish quickly when in reality we had over 45 minutes before actual closing time at 9pm. I guess we will have to come at 6pm to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Other than that, everything was great. We will definitely be back.

Despite mentioning to multiple people that I needed a gluten free meal, it was forgotten. The Hibachi grill is NOT SAFE due to massive cross contamination and the chef not knowing to use gluten free soy sauce, keep the food separate, and use clean utensils. If you do go, stick to sushi, but watch your receipt as I was charged for real crab in a roll that did not contain any crab. Very disappointing experience.
IF you don’t have dietary restrictions, the food is excellent and it’s a fun date night place.

We have been missing the original location next to the Cinemark so we decided to give this place a shot. The sushi we ordered was delicious and fresh tasting, but the menu is priced considerably higher than comparable places nearby. They also do not include miso soup with sushi orders which is a big deal to us. They did have an excellent veggie roll that is worth noting (not everywhere in the springs has good veggie options). Service was good, the food was just not worth the price. Also we came for a birthday and made a reservation noting that, and nothing was done so if you are looking for a birthday celebration try somewhere else.

The food is amazing. Unfortunately the nepotism is not. I’ve been here at minimum 5 times. The first time and the most recent, I was served by Sangmin. Both times he disappeared and I got no refill, no dessert and very little service overall. It seems like the entire staff works together well but I saw him on his phone several times and when he wasn’t he was hiding in the soda fountain area (where I assume he was again on his phone). I was a server for years and deeply respect them when I’m out at a restaurant. This time however I just couldn’t tip him. Maybe it was the dry mouth from eating 5 rolls with no refill. Maybe it was the fact that we didn’t see him again from the time he dropped off our drinks til we cleaned the table and were standing, ready to leave. I did call to talk to the manager but was informed that he is her son. Which makes a lot of sense as to why he doesn’t feel the need to actually do his job. So TLDR; sushi is amazing. their nepotism isn’t. I guess I will continue to eat here and hope for a different server next time I guess. Everyone else, you rocked it. Sang, you sucked. Happy new year.

Sushi is my favorite food. When I was stationed in California, there was this restaurant called Miso Harney Sushi and that was the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to. So I always compare and try to find the Harney Sushi in Colorado with no luck, and I have been to a bunch of sushi restaurants in Colorado. Ai Sushi & Grill is the closest I have found to Miso Harney Sushi. The Godfather roll is very original and delicious. If you're looking for more unique and creative rolls with original flavors instead of the same old same old, go here. Their fish is high quality as well. I also have always had great service and the owner is pretty active, which I love to see. Their dining area doesn't look the prettiest or upscale by any means but don't let the looks of the inside deceive you; it's the best sushi in Colorado Springs hands down. So far, it's the best in Colorado since I've been to many places in Denver. I don't think I'll ever find another Miso Harney Sushi, but Ai Sushi and Grill comes close.

Updated from a five star review to two. TL/DR Training, service and management are currently a huge hinderance at this location. Our family went for a small birthday party last Tuesday with five people. We were sat promptly and there were approximately 3 tables in the dining room and one grill table half occupied. Waitress took 15 minutes to visit table and take drink order and forgot one of the five people at the table. She already looked a little lost and frantic. 15 minutes later our drinks show up with one person in party still not having ordered and at this point no waters and no silverware. Two hot sake's were ice cold and large Sapporo came with no glass. At 40 minutes finally all drinks were ordered and we had the chance to get our food order in.
Food took abnormally long to arrive we are now at 1hour 35 minutes when food finally shows up. We ordered two veggie tempura appetizers, both showed up with the rest of the food and one was the full dinner( much larger portion), large sushi platter showed up with no ginger no wasabi and one of the $18 dollar rolls was incorrect. When all arrived we still did not have water, plates, silverware or napkins. The waitress after setting all the food down asked if we needed anything. We explained we were missing all of the above including the standard sides with the sushi, she apologized and stated it was her first night and walked away clearly stressed. She then proceeded to walk out of the restaurant leaving us and two other tables without a waitress. We finally let the hostess know, who went back and got the kitchen manager who came out to talk to us. He was clearly agitated and complained that she had walked out on them and confirmed it was this servers first night. He proceeded to confirm the mistakes and did correct the mistakes of the roll and larger tempura, bill but did not give us any additional credit for the terrible service, cold sake or the fact the dinner took over 2 hours to complete.
As a result we will likely not be back for a while if ever. My family ran restaurants for decades in Colorado Springs and while I believe the challenge for good employees these days are significant, this was clearly a lack of front of the house management and training. This experience was by no means the fault of the poor server who I honestly don't blame for walking. She clearly had not been trained and was thrown onto the floor with no assistance or shadowing experience. While she was clearly struggling there were no less than three people milling around the front of the house (hostess, other waiter not busy and front of the house manager) not offering any help to someone who doesn't know their system at all.
Unless AI gets their management situation in order they will continue to struggle to find good servers at this location. We used to visit this location at least once a month and have spent hundreds of dollars here in the past year. The fact we were not offered anything in compensation for this miserable and very sub-par experience is a huge customer service fail and it shows the culture at this establishment needs a significant adjustment if they don't want to chase off their local loyal customer base.

My FAVORITE Sushi Restaurant! Try the Koala Roll or the Titanic!

This place has potential but management clearly is oblivious and is not choosing to fix their problems. Any few new customers who do come here will not return because it was hot as balls inside to the point of no comfort. The place was also a ghost town with the hibachi grills all shut down. Food was overall pretty decent and tasty. They served us some raw fish on something that was not supposed to be raw which could pose a health problem to some. Menu descriptions are non existent on the sushi rolls so you don't really know what you are getting. I'd say this place is on the verge of closing unless they make some immediate changes.

Took far too long they quoted us an hour took an hour and a half there were 4 others delayed too just in the time I was there. Also they said it would take 5 min once I got there and sat another 25. Just be honest about your wait times people will understand. Won’t be back!

Order an $18 special that came in styrofoam container. Ordered the “Famous Mai Thai” to pair with my sushi roll which was a nice pairing. Colorado Springs has very few places to get sushi cuisine

Didn't go because I called and they said the hibachi is closed so they are only doing sushi. Left this review bc it was the only way to report it.

Amazing service and sushi!

I love Sushi, but honestly this is not the best. The fish was kind of dry, and had lost it's flavor. The service was slow despite the fact that there were a half dozen servers, and only two tables occupied. We were early, around 5PM and the staff was huddled around, but not being helpful. Weird honestly

Update: the owner and manager reached out and refunded the portion of food that we couldnt eat.
Horrible experience! I have celiac and had seem some great reviews. It started out with our waitress giving me the wrong menu, which I can overlook due to her being new. I ordered my food asking multiple questions about prep and all that due to food issues. The main problem is when the food came out mine and my husband's came out plated together so I couldn't eat mine, yet I still got charged for it, including the 4.00 a roll extra to make it gf. They apologized yet the staff did nothing to remedy it. I called afterwards and while the manager I talked to was nice about it, it's like there was no understanding of why gf should never be plated with non gluten free when a customer specifically asks for it to be separate

Super yummy sushi find in Colorado Springs. Food is delicious. It is a bit of a mom and pop type place but foes not matter at all and the sushi is excellent!

Allergy alert! Be sure to have the server verify GF. I ordered a GOG roll that was on their GF menu and the sauce is not GF. I had already paid for it and had to substitute for another roll. Rather than eating the cost of $1.46 they ran a separate credit card transaction. They already charge $39 and was a bigger issue since a manage had to approve such a small transaction.

I’ve been going to this Sushi place for 19 years! I have never found a better sushi restaurant than this AI! I recommend the “Buffalo Roll”, it seems to be rare or unique to this place.
The hibachi grill is also wonderful and I think that the prices are all reasonable and/or lower than others in town.

The best gluten free sushi menu in town. Excellent service, excellent ambiance, delicious & well priced sushi. Ten stars!

DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY SERVE SPOILED AND CONTAMINATED PRODUCT!!!
This place has taken a turn for the worse since the new management/owners. They are very rude and over all quality has gone way down. I ate there last night (05/18/2022) and one of the $20 rolls i got had real crab in it....however it tasted overly fishy, sour and was definitely spoiled crab meat. When we told our waitress, she went and told the sushi chef, he then laughed and called the owner over. They both had a piece of the real crab and then told our waitress to tell us real crab tastes extremely fishy because its the real thing and that we were still pay for it even though we had one piece each and realized it was extremely bad and could cause terrible food poisioning.
Do not eat here! They serve spoiled and contaminated product then laugh and tell the customer they are wrong when confronted just so they dont lose $20.

Super good sushi experience! I don’t know if this Ai sushi and grill is owned by the same people, but this one has better sushi for sure! We had a the tuna tower, a Philly roll, the specialty mango roll, and one more I don’t remember the name of! I was satisfied with the service too. Everyone was nice! Thanks for reading 💯🫶🏻

So I’m sure this place used to be nice, the decor is nice and ambience is pretty good, staff was friendly. However, there is no hibachi or Teppan Yaki at this place at the moment. The waitress let us know they no longer had a chef who could do that. Which, it’s the pandemic and times have been tough for everyone so I get it, no big deal. Instead I got just the rainbow roll. While waiting for that, I got the miso soup first. The soup tasted sour with little taste. Even the green onions didn’t show up in the flavor…
As far as the rainbow roll, the fish was decent quality, but most of the roll was imitation crab and was $14. The flavor was probably a 4/10.
Additionally, I watched the younger man sushi chef prepare another customers order on top of the bar at eye level with another customer sitting there at the time. The customer was coughing and sneezing and snotty right next to the roll as he put the three sauces on top. Definitely made me feel pretty uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the kitchen.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend:/

The chef blew his nose and didn’t wash his hands while making sushi. When he was told that it was disgusting to not wash his hands after doing that he called us many names and cussed us out. Everything was caught on video and it is very inappropriate for a restaurant environment. All he had to do wash wash his hands after.

STAY AWAY! Way over priced and sushi is just ok. Also I think the sushi chef thought it would be funny to make my seared tuna look like fingers. It was UN appetizing and it looked disgusting. $121 wasted. DO NOT GO HERE!

Went there for a Datenight. We have gone to a different AI before and I wasn't impressed. But oh my was I in for a treat. The sushi was plate licking good and as we where sitting at the bar the sushichef patiently answerd all my nagging questions while artfully making his beautiful sushi. The host and our server definitely need a mentioning to as they where welcoming, very attentive and engaging. Can't wait to go there again 💜💜💜

Horrible customer service.....again. Ordered sushi via phone, was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived about an hour later, and my sushi was not ready. Waited another 30 minutes, was walking out the door, and my sushi finally arrived. This has happened the last few times I ordered. They continue to be severely understaffed causing long waits. Sushi is ok, but definitely not worth the wait. Tired of getting lied to, time and time again about how long my wait will be. It's sushi, it's not cooked. No way it should take so long to prepare; especially when there are only a handful of customers in the restaurant. AVOID this place at all cost. Not worth the aggravation for average to below average sushi. If you can't afford to hire the correct number of staff, then shut this place down. Can't imagine they would have many repeat customers.

Very poor customer service. Had a reservation for 615pm. Arrived 10 minutes early and they would not set us early. They then sat us and took our drink orders. Then left us for almost 20 minutes before bringing our drinks. We did not get offered water and one of the drinks we ordered never came out. We asked to see the waiter and he did not come back to the table. We also were waiting for the chief to finish at the other table and he was not half way done. The waiter did not come back until we got up to leave and then he was surprised. Horrible time and a waist of time.

It's been amazing in the past. However, new employees seem to be struggling. It is still a decent place, and I hope that while the staff learns, the quality will match the price point eventually.

This place used to be great but has gone downhill. Sad to say the quality is about grocery store pre made level. Extremely slow, mediocre. Would love to see it revived to its former glory. Won’t be recommending.

Wonderful sushi! This is always my go-to place for Japanese in Colorado Springs and I have been coming here for years. Last night the restaurant was very busy and understaffed and our table got missed when we were seated. So we had a minor delay with ordering our food and drinks which was not a big deal. The owner and the staff was very apologetic and came over to our table numerous times to make sure that everything was alright. Once our order was placed our food and drinks arrived quickly. The staff was so caring and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was satisfactory for us.
Please remember that every restaurant is operatating understaffed; be kind to those who show up.
Thanks again AI for the wonderful evening!

The sushi is always SO good and the staff is so kind. I see reviews about wait time and I had to wait for my food too but of course they're a bit understaffed- who isn't right now??? They were so apologetic and kind about it and with how good the rolls come out its worth the wait. If you can't understand the staffing issues that ALL restaurants are facing currently perhaps consider if right now is a good time for you to dine out. Keep up the quality of food and kind staff and the right customers will stick around <3

For my daughter’s 12th birthday, we had dinner at two of the Teppenyaki tables. It was a Thursday and they only had one chef, but Ramon was absolutely amazing!!!
He worked both tables with humor and skill. We laughed and walked away full of food and completely entertained!!! All of the kids enjoyed the food and fun!!!
If you want a memorable experience - go and ask for Ramon - he’s there Thursday - Saturday nights!!!

Sushi was great! However, the reason why I am giving two stars is because our waitress did a not so good job. I came here with six of my friends and it took an hour for our sushi to come out, plus it was five minutes after they closed. On top of that, the waitress seemed to be very confused the entire time and could not split our check or remember what we ordered. Furthermore, there was a birthday party and they blasted music throughout the whole restaurant. I hate giving bad reviews, but unfortunately I did not have a great experience.

Terrible service. No wonder the place was empty to begin. Ordered multiple rolls and a spicy teriyaki chicken. Chicken was the driest I've ever had and wasn't spicy in the least bit. When sent back, the "chef" came to my table and grilled me (almost as terrible as he did the chicken) with questions about how and why it was bad like he was offended I would dare tell him how bad he did his job. This place is unbelievably awful.

Delicious Food! Caring employees! Hibachi for lunch!
I went in for lunch as I was craving Hibachi and was told they were no longer doing hibachi for lunch. BUT the hostess, Jordan was amazing and asked the kitchen staff if anyone could cook for me. Then the hibachi chef, Austin, cooked an amazing lunch for me. We talked about work, and he explained how he has dreamt of cooking hibachi since he was 6. The food was great and the attitudes were amazingly refreshing. Also, the more people that come for lunch hibachi, the easier it will be for them to implement the change! So please go see Jordan and Austin!

4 stars for Japanese food in the Springs because there isnt much good competition, probably 3 stars in other cities I've lived in. Portion sizes were huge, but taste was lacking. Just put a little more sauce on your teriyaki dishes please! Miso lacked flavor but was perfect temperature so I could appreciate that. Might come back, but for the price you pay and the quality, it wouldnt be often. Nice waiters though!

Came here for a quick dinner last night and I was very impressed with both the quality of the sushi and the service which was sincere and prompt. I had the Shogun roll which was smaller than I though but absolutely delicious and worth every penny.

Very very sad.. I would NOT recommend this restaurant yo anyone. The menu is a little pricey but hey gor good sushi yout willing to pay a little more, but the food was not amazing, not even good. :(
Ordered a hot tea, and asked for a refill, since they only brought a single cup, and I was told they were out and there was no more.. Tempura vegtables, 4 small peices.. Rolls, not impressed. Just my opinion.

The sushi rolls are fantastic. I got the teriyaki shrimp which was ok but if you like sushi this is a place you should try.
