We've been looking for a good all-you-can-eat sushi place near our home in Arvada and we're happy we found Sushi Neko. It's got a good menu with lots of options and they provide good descriptions of the menu items to help in decision-making. We tried a variety of different types of sushi and appetizers and we were happy with everything we tried. The waitstaff was pleasant and unhurried. The vibe of the place was fun, upbeat, and charming. I happen to LOVE cats so I was absolutely delighted by the cat-themed decor, which was adorable and struck an excellent balance between fun and charming. We can't wait to go back!

This place was good. I've been to lots of all u can eat sushi spots. They have a large selection of actual sushi. The food was hot and fresh and it's served pretty fast. The staff are pretty fast about getting you refills and putting your order in. The entree selection isn't that big although they do have a little bit of everything. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good all u can eat sushi selection. I would come back again....

I am very impressed with this place! Now, I am not a sushi connoisseur, by any means, but Sushi Neko does the AYCE superbly well! Plates were presented beautifully and the sushi tasted freshly prepared. And the AYCE option includes miso soup, house salad, and smaller portions of appetizers AND entrees (i.e. Ramen, Katsu, etc.)! Definitely recommend this place -- Come hungry!

Nice quality for AYCE! The fish tasted pretty fresh and the ratio of fish to rice was good! The bulgogi roll with jalapeños was pretty spicy, but still had some sweetness.
The neko(cat) aesthetic was fun and cute.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
.
The one bite entrees were decent sized - more like tapas portions, and few of them made a good meal on their own.
The rice with the nigiri was pretty salty, but the rolls weren't overly salty and were stuffed full!
Great quality and portions for the price! Will definitely come back!

This little place is a gem! I have gone to many all you can eat sushi restaurants but this one hands down is one of the best. From the moment you walk in the environment it is adorable as it is cat-themed. We are greeted immediately by either the hostess or even the sushi line. Sundays is All Day dinner option which is nice. The food is absolutely amazing! It is May the moment you order it it is not sitting in the back waiting for somebody to get it. You can tell the freshness end quality in their fish literally no complaints. The sake and green tea are amazing and for the price phenomenal. The wait staff are attentive kind and remember who you are when you walk in makes you feel welcomed. We will definitely be back!!!

Ramen cannot be ordered individually. I haven't tried their sushi, but the menu restriction does not sit well with me. Here's my drop in the bucket.
Edit: you now have a permanent review from a temporarily alive person. I called to get further info from a manager, they do serve it a la carte, but there was a disconnect and I'm disgusted. This bridge is burned. Good luck

We were hesitant to give an all you can eat sushi place a try, but we're glad we did. Is it the best sushi we've ever had, No. However the quality of fish exceeded our expectations and we will absolutely dine here again. We gorged ourselves on Nigiri and enjoyed the gyoza, spring rolls and sesame balls. The selection and quality are well worth the $25 cost for all you can eat lunch. Our waitress thoroughly explained everything, she was friendly, and attentive. There is a book at the table with colored pictures and an explanation of what each dish/roll contains. The house sake is great and reasonably priced. If you enjoy sushi and not just rolls drenched in sauce, do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Truly (surprisingly) good quality meal! Most All-You-Can-Eat places are mid-low quality. This place has really great quality, an incredibly kind, helpful and friendly staff as well as a low-pressure atmosphere. We will DEFINITELY be coming back with the whole family again soon!!
UPDATE: We went a second time less than a week later and the experience was the exact same if not even a little better! Would 10000% recommend!!!!

Second time dining here for the AYCE menu. It was a huge disappointment once again. First, we ordered 2 rolls and all the nigiri we wanted. Somehow, the Tokyo roll came out within 1 minute of the server leaving our table to enter the order; they must have had a roll that was sent back and gave it to us. The salmon skin roll came out about 8-10 minutes after this; let's just say it tasted fishy and not fresh. Our nigiri order came out last. The fish is thinly sliced and their is a lot of rice to fish ratio. I would say the nigiri is decent, but otherwise everything else is a disappointment. Definitely not as good as other AYCE sushi places in town.

Very cute AYCE sushi place. I have been a handful of times. I wish they had more options for either baked and / or salmon based sushi. A few rolls were kind of just mush while others were fantastic. I'd still recommend it to a friend. I love the cat vibe.

Solid sushi place for ayce. Wait times aren’t as long as other places up in Thornton, also I don’t want to drive all the way to Aurora.
We got seated quickly and our food came fast and was fresh. My only thing is that I wish they included sashimi with ayce- but it seems like no one in CO does that. That would make it 5 stars!

If you go in on a busy night, don’t just write your name on the waitlist, speak to someone too. I had to walk out then back in until I was acknowledged. Don’t get the bulgogi, it’s prepared differently here. I saw Dynamite on their menu, but they got rid of it. My friend asked a waitress about it, she told us that they removed it and she recommended we get the cheese corn because she said it’s similar (they don’t even use the same ingredients) and we understand she was just trying to help, it did not help. But the biggest thing that stood out was the rice, like.. what rice is being used? It’s not sushi rice (it didn’t taste like it, I didn’t get any vinegar/ammonia scent at all). Every bite of rice felt like I was eating from a rice bowl (which I’m pretty sure sushi rice is used for those rice bowls). One nitpick, their menu listed “Sesame Ball” (singular), the picture menu showed like 6 sesame balls, so per order do we get one big one or 6 small ones…? You get two small ones, per order. Last thing, one of my friends didn’t eat very much; he stopped eating near the end (he wasn’t full, he just didn’t want to eat more). The next day, he asked us if our stomachs felt weird (everyone was fine); the one friend was the only one whose stomach felt weird. It wasn’t anything serious and it could’ve been something else he ate, but the weird rice taste is the only thing that stood out. All in all, the place is good, nice staff, the restaurant itself is very nice even though some of the furniture reminds me of somebody’s grandparents’ house; it’s just the sushi itself (specifically the rice), the fish is alright (we live in Colorado, what do you expect). It’s ok, it’s just not for me (or my friends). Thanks for having us!

First timers, disappointed in communication and transparency. It was never mentioned we would be charged $33 each for all you can eat. We ordered 3 rolls and an app. Finished that and was asked if we wanted our check. Would have appreciated 1 of the 4 servers who came to our table mentioning that we were going to be charged for all you can eat sushi. Felt rushed through our experience. Food was delicious but will not return.

Really loved the space and the service was excellent. The food was great with tons of variety, but I think the rolls could have been just a tiny bit better, rolled a little tighter with a bit more rice, but this is personal preference. Regardless, highly recommend.

Food was decent. Too much rice on sushi to the point that it would fall off before we touch the plate. Service was good and fast. One thing I didn't like was that it's an all you can eat but sashimi you pay $20 extra for 12 peices... ice cream is around $6.99... at that point I didn't bother to find out what else was extra I just hoped our bill wouldn't be over $32 per person like it said. I wouldn't come back.

I've been here 5 times. They charge you if you have excess leftovers. I'm cool with that, but I'm not cool with nickel and diming people.
After my meal, I ask for my check, and the server immediately starts sorting and adding plates in increments of 50 cents, and at $2.50, I interrupt her to ask if I'm being charged extra. I am. I don't feel it was excessive. I ask for a manager. She says she is the manager, like Chapelle Show Kinkos or something. I look at her, ask again, and she says she's the head server. I ask for a manager.
I don't know if there was one, but someone else came to me and said sorry but they have to charge me. I pointed at my leftovers in disbelief, and told her, you're losing a customer if you do this. She replies, sorry.
I get up, pay, ends up being $1.50 on top of my $43 bill. They need some common sense and let that $1.50 slide instead of pissing off a customer and losing one.
This business is 치사해.
Edit: I didn't talk about the food. It's okay food. I'm Asian, so I'm a bit more picky, but AYCE, let alone Asian food, there aren't many options in Arvada. Honestly, I'm full right now, but I realize now why I've only been here 5 times despite living less than a mile away. The food is just not that great quality. Tokyo Joe's, as blasphemous as it sounds, is much better quality sushi and food and I'm just going to stick to that when craving Japanese food in Arvada.

This is a fun, all-you-can-eat, sushi joint here in Arvada. The food quality is good, and, of course plentiful. However, I thought that the spiced sushi was too spicy. I think this might be an effort by the owner to get you to drink more water - which was also plentifully provided - to fill up faster, and eat less sushi. The spiced food was generally salty, which I like, but it was a little too salty. For example, the miso soup was very salty; as was the tempura and the bulgogi.
The regular sushi - like salmon, tuna, yellowtail, etc. - was not salty, so stick with that side of the menu, and you'll be fine.
The price was a bit higher than I expected, at $32 per person. We hadn't been out to AYCE sushi for a while; the last time we went, to another local sushi joint, Sushi Katsu, it was $26 per person. But I see that Katsu has caught up in price, too.
The all cat, all the time atmosphere was fun, especially for my wife, who is close to being a crazy cat lady. They also played popular American music while having monitors continuously displaying K-Pop (or was it J-Pop?) videos. Recommended.

Tried this little gem for the first time last night on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. It is an all you can eat sushi restaurant (you can order a la carte) but the menu differed slightly in that it featured numerous Korean dishes as well as Korean inspired twist on typical ayce sushi offerings. My favorite was the udon noodle soup. I could've eaten that the entire visit, but I had to try as much as I could. My wife and I were very happy to have made the drive to Arvada for such an amazing meal at such a great price! Not to mention the service was also top notch. We'll be going back real soon. You should check it out if you're on the fence 💯👌

Not much fish on the menu for a sushi joint either. Even if it were under $30 (it's not) it would still only get a C+ out of me

The sushi here is not good when compared to another local AYCE Sushi Katsu. I ordered California rolls, and salmon and tuna nigiri-- all of which was salty and had fishiness. The gyoza was essentially flavorless before it was dipped in sauce, and the spring roll clearly came out of a frozen package of prerolls.
I won't be coming back despite the great service

Sushi Neko is a fantastic dining spot that offers an exceptional sushi experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere and a friendly staff ready to ensure you have a great meal.
The sushi here is outstanding. Every piece is crafted with precision and care, showcasing the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The Nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the specialty rolls were both creative and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the Dragon Roll, which had the perfect balance of textures and flavors.
In addition to the sushi, the menu offers a variety of other Japanese dishes that are equally impressive. The tempura was light and crispy, and the miso soup was a comforting start to the meal.
The presentation of the dishes is also worth mentioning. Each plate is beautifully arranged, making the dining experience not just a treat for the taste buds but for the eyes as well.
The service at Sushi Neko is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations based on your preferences. They made sure our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish.
The ambiance is cozy and modern, with a chic yet relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine, Sushi Neko is a must-visit. I look forward to returning and trying more of their delightful offerings.

We went in for lunch and got the all you can eat, which is honestly a great deal. $25 per adult! We were very impressed with the quality of their sushi. The fish was fresh and the rice was just the right texture, making the nigiri really wonderful. We also tried a few rolls- the bulogogi beef one and the vegetable tempura one, these were also good but we didn't want to fill up on rolls! For all you can eat, they also offer "entrees" though we didn't try any of them and appetizers! Our daughter enjoyed the gyoza and miso soup. We will definitely be back!

The food other than sushi is really good as well, so if you’re not big on sushi or seafood there are other delicious options for you to fill up on like teriyaki chicken, edamame, dumplings, katsu, and more. Make sure to bring a friend who has a hollow leg! Fried philly roll and unagi roll good. Not fine dining, but it will fill you up. Impressive selection of Sake! Honestly I have no idea what everyone is talking about when then say best sushi ever. Y’all must have never had good sushi. They give you way too much rice to fill you up to force you to have left overs. Left overs are .50 a piece to throw away or $1 each to take home. I understand where they came up with changing for it but they give large portions to get you to pay them more money. Oh and they fill it way too much with imitation crab and its flavor is way too strong. Can’t taste the rest of the roll.
Only good item we enjoyed was the spicy edamame.
I will have to say the service was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and amazing. The staff was very nice.

Now for the food. It was super delicious. The rolls we ordered were very good. I did get spiced out with a couple of them. I prevailed though, ahaha.
The quality of the fish was delicious. The eel nigiri was divine.
Our server was wonderful and attentive.
It's super delicious and worth it.
I didnt get a picture of the food, but I loved this picture.

Dine in is all you can eat. Solid sushi, some rolls have a bit too much rice, but for all you can eat, that's not surprising. The entre options come in small portions, which is really nice to be able to have multiple things.

Excellent quality and speed. Best all you can eat sushi in Denver. Can't say enough about how good it was on a Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere and service. Good descriptions of the different rolls and selection of different type of such. I felt like I was back in California on the water eating fresh Sushi.
I went back again in a month and it was consistently great again. Can't miss here.

First time here. Food was good, service not so much. first round was awesome the food came out fast but before we could even get the second round started the server denied us a new sheet "let's wait I don't want you eating with your eyes" exact words used so we sat with an empty table (2 pieces sat on the table our guest was finishing up with the roll they chose) for another 5 minutes until we made eye contact with another server and requested a sheet. I had a party of 4 we ordered 4 rolls and 2 appetizers to start obviously I can't speak for everyone but I don't think that alone qualified as all you can eat 😅 not to mention when we were sat it was explained to us twice we would be charged if we did not finish. We completely understood most all you can eat sushi places are the same so it wasn't surprising what was surprising was the denial of the 2nd sheet. Finally we ordered our second round and sadly that took longer to come out, our water stayed full which is great but no one ever asked if we wanted refills on our beers. sad because we definitely wanted one, yes we could have asked but why when you clearly see our glasses empty when you happily pour us water. I don't think we should have to ask for service. Overall 2 stars the denial of paper really made our visit feel unwelcome and rushed. Server had curly hair and white flower earrings.

Nice sushi place, good food, the spicy rolls actually have some kick. Service was friendly but they need to work on remembering which table ordered what, no big deal since it's a small place.

This place is a little gem that was unknown to us until now. The food, service and atmosphere are all great and the value of the all-you-can-eat lunch is unbeatable. Unfortunately, they serve a somewhat oddly flavored and potent soy sauce which ruins a lot of the flavor of the menu items. That alone may keep us from making this place our local favorite.

When it comes to the food, pretty standard selection of sushi. Nothing special. I went for lunch and you just can’t beat $25 for all-you-can-eat. I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth. The only thing that bummed me out is they make you get the sushi as nigiri, so with rice, and you have to eat the rice or they charge you for the whole piece! Which makes sense being all-you-can-eat I guess, but if they offered a $10 extra option to get sashimi instead, I’d 100% spend that no question. I guess you could just not the eat rice and pay whatever it is, but that would feel so wasteful. An upfront cost for sashimi would make more sense!

I think this place is a must go to! Great prices, friendly staff, and great food. Staff is always going around so you don't have to wait for one specific staff member. Food arrives really fast and it tastes amazing!

The all you can eat is more rice than meat but it's still good, and service is quick. I'll be back.

There are alot of good reviews about this place so we gave it a try - and I do not understand the positivity. I understand it was all you can eat, but my expectations were low and was still severely disappointed. While it is all you can eat sushi, the sushi rolls are almost all rice. You cannot taste anything other than rice and artificial crab. Each roll is 10 peices or more combined with way more rice than needed intended just fill you up. Grocery store sushi is far better. Seriously go somewhere else, all you can eat or not!

Have gone since they opened. Easily 20 visits.
We always noticed how staff turnover was oddly high, no one lasts more than a couple months.
And then the owner, who has never been friendly made it very apparent.
We arrived at 1:30, they stop letting people in at 2:30, we stopped ordering by 2. The owner comes up to our table clearly angy, when the other two tables were literally still walking and insists that we pay our tab with total attitude, barking “we closed at 2:30”(10 minutes ago).
A high tab that would have resulted in a 20%+ tip became a bad experience with one offensive table visit.

Had a wonderful sushi date with my boyfriend here! All of the servers were super kind and upbeat while making sure the both of us were taken care of. The restaurant is decorated with lots of cute cats, has anime on the TV and a variety of Asian music playing. Prices were reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be returning again soon 💛

I thought the food was good, however I think there’s a flaw in their system. Their rolls, like California or tempura roll have like 8 pieces each. If you’re there by yourself or just two of you, you can’t try very much because you’re stuck having to eat all 8 pieces of a roll. I highly suggest serving half portions if requested. I don’t want to go pay $25 for a California roll and be full. Otherwise, everyone was extremely nice and the place was great.

Food is ok, service is terrible, they don’t tell you this but they charge $.50 PER piece of sushi you didn’t eat OR you can take it home for $1 per piece. No one told us this until after we had finished our dinner. The service wasn’t the best. They were busy and we didn’t even get a pencil to fill out the menu, my husband had to go to the front and ask for a pen. The food is ok, rolls are not the best. They didn’t give us all the nigiri we ordered and almost all rolls had imitation crab in it. Nigiri was chewy and tough at times. Just be aware that they will charge you for each piece of sushi you don’t eat and you may not get everything you ordered.

Sushi neko is a great all-you-can-eat restaurant. It’s our favorite sushi spot in Arvada! The rolls are large and their appetizers are delicious.
We tried to go on a Wednesday when they were closed and ended up going to another sushi spot where we got less sushi for more money; and it wasn’t as good either. We love Neko!
Plus, the cat themed atmosphere is very fun!

My husband and I love this restaurant! The sushi is very good and somewhat creative which is an aspect we look for in all you can eat style sushi. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet but they play anime (with no sound) on the tvs so you have something to look at. We very much enjoy eating here!

Update: we're still going and we still love it! Even getting takeout, the food is just as delicious (and they're now on door dash and other food delivery services)!
The employees are so nice! They greet you once you're in the door and they help you if you've never been in before. Their service is fast so you're never waiting long for your food. The food is perfect every time and the atmosphere is so calm and warm that you love sitting there and enjoying your time.
You can also have different waves of food come to your table so you don't have to order everything at once. We've been here multiple times since our friends first brought us and we continue to plan on coming back.

The Asian waitress seems very interested in to my husband. Giving Exra sweet talk and service. Very uncomfortable for me… it wasn’t okay for the business. At all.
Don’t get me wrong, other American waitress was polite very good service.

Nice sushi addition to the Arvada area! All you can eat menus for lunch and dinner make for a fun experience to try a variety of items. I personally enjoy the nigiri and found the escolar, seared tuna, and yellowtail to be especially good.
Friendly staff and casual atmosphere make for an enjoyable experience.

Best AYCE sushi we've tried so far! Amazing value for the price, and the sushi is actually good sushi instead of just meh. We've tried Sushi Katsu, Eeeny Meeny Sushi Roll, and a few other AYCE, and Sushi Neko is the best so far!
Gyozas are amazing, and I would recommend getting them, even if you're there to mostly eat sushi. The Miso soup is also very good, albeit strong in flavor than what some might be used to.
All of the rolls we had were good. It's a joy to find a AYCE where there are plenty of special rolls to order from. The portions are large, and we almost ordered too much since our eyes were too big for our stomachs. :D
The price is also veeeery reasonable for AYCE at 32.99 for dinner. There is also an anniversary sale going on right now for drinks. All drinks are 50% off for dine-in!
