Wow! Delicious restaurant and an amazing service! Can't wait to go back. I Recommend their cocktails and sushi. We arrived close to 8 pm and they closed at 9 and they were super kind and let us eat our dinner without rushing us 😂! Amazing spot to enjoy great food while outside is snowing 💖

The only reason I’m leaving one star is because the food was delicious and it’s not an option to give less than one star. Had to wait over an hour for a table of two and then sat for about another 15 minutes before a server even came over, greeted us, and took our order. Took about 10 minutes to get our sushi rolls but we never got the appetizer we ordered :/ the sushi was delicious and we enjoyed them but the service was just so god awful. We had to ask the sushi chef for our check because we hadn’t seen our server since she took our order. Finally got our check from another server and we were charged for the food we never received. Took a while the get the correct check but we finally did and let me tell you we could not get out of there faster. As someone in the service industry the service we received tonight was probably the worst I’ve ever seen.

Great restaurant! They were really busy and still got our larger party in with a minimal wait and were very friendly.
Tried:
- Calamari: great, really tasty seasonings.
- Vegetable Tempura: very good veggie selection and crunch, but not really seasoned at all.
- Gyoza: excellent!
- Beef Teriyaki: no sauce, a bit overcooked and tough, so not amazing.
- Golden Tail Black Dragon: amazing roll, really nice combo with the mango
- Shiro Tataki: the albacore didn't exactly seem torched and I was missing the crab salad but it was delicious regardless.
- Futomaki: amazing veggie roll, the shiitake gives it a delicious umami.
- Tekka Roll: simple & good!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Drunken Monkey Restaurant in Truckee, California. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of energy in the restaurant as it was quite busy. The staff was incredibly attentive and efficient, and the food came out hot and full of flavor. While it may not be the cheapest option in town, it is definitely worth visiting. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the experience, and I highly recommend the Drunken Monkey Restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Truckee.

The food itself would have got five stars, the serving (the waitresses) however were the slowest I've ever experienced!
We went there on a Thursday evening, they were really busy so it took quite a while for us to get seated, around 50 minutes, but it is understandable. The food was absolutely worth the wait, fantastic sushi rolls, very flavorful and balanced. The soup base for the udon is quite good too.
But after we finish eating, we waited for almost 30 minutes just to get the check, we had to wave down multiple waitresses and then they just seem to disappear somewhere and never came back. They didn't seem shorthanded, we saw quite a few waitresses during our dinner, they were just all moving at a very slow speed.

The food was excellent, but I recommend double-checking your receipt and bank statement. We spent over $121, left a cash tip, and were shocked to find that my credit card was charged $142 without my approval. It’s concerning when establishments add unauthorized charges, which is illegal. So be cautious and ensure you’re not overcharged.

It gets busy fast, go early.
It's kind of pricy, two of us ate for $100. Food was what I expected.
It's a tight squeeze between tables. It was busier than what we wanted.

Service was horrible- took forever to get the waitress to come to our table. The waitress seemed to be more interested in talking to the group at the bar. It was difficult to even get a server or bus person to make eye contact to ask to replace a dirty water glass. We were there to celebrate our anniversary with our children- next year this will not be our choice. Also, because of our large group, an automatic gratuity of 20% was applied. This was not appropriate since it was not earned. Very disappointed 😕

Went here and got seated at large table. Chairs were all completely broken down and just made your legs go numb the longer you sat there. Two of water glasses had large lipstick stains. Service was horrible. All the servers seemed to enjoy chatting at the bar with two women to talk crap about their customers and coworkers more than they actually liked helping their customers.
The waitress wouldn’t take our entree orders when she dropped off the appetizers for some reason and finally after 20 minutes we flagged someone down separately. Waited another 20 minutes for our first couple entrees then it took another 30 minutes for the rest of our food to get there, super awesome!! Then we were given our check, no apology for bad service, no discounted appetizer, just an auto gratuity of 20% applied to the bill and for the cherry on top no one would come run our card so after 15 minutes of waiting I had to go flag down a busboy to take our card.
Overall experience took 1 hour and 40 minutes and was $400 for a horrible time. What a joke

Prices are really high but it's to be expected in Truckee. The food is really good and the cocktails are definitely worth trying. I can't say for sure how often they change their cocktail menu but I can say always get something new, refreshing, and mouthwatering everytime I go there. Their drinks are very unique and intriguing with the different ingredients they use.

The best sushi in Truckee is at Drunken Monkey! It is always packed and can get very busy and loud inside. If it isn’t too hot, I recommend sitting outside. The Kalamari is a favorite to share and everything else is delicious too.

Came here once before, and it was soso. Came back for takeout. Took nearly 45 minutes for 2 rolls, fried chicken, and pan fried noodles. Bill arrived with an 18% service charged. Asked for that to be removed because … WE ORDERED TAKEOUT, so there was no service. Denied after a couple of back and forths with management. Was never informed there would be a mandatory gratuity charge for takeout, until the bill came. This will be the last time i come here.

California is the base for most rolls, portions are small even by sushi restaurant standards. The food tastes good, but service has not been impressive, long wait from getting in, to getting a meal, and to getting out.

I was served by one of the worst waiters who have ever served me, his attitude when asking for something simple was “seriously” one of the worst treatments, practically the place was empty and he served us as if they had a wait list. 0 friendliness and 0 customer service. Being a regular customer I go 1-2 times biweekly. It seems like they don't want to be there.

Delicious innovative sushi and Japanese dishes. We were forced to wait a half hour to order and we had to ask three times for utensils-twice after our food was delivered.
The soup we ordered never came. The brith with the ramen was cold. We had to request more broth. The wait staff needs training and improvement.

Delicious hand roll, well fried tempura with udon. Their signature roll was also very impressive and unique. We arrived before they opened (at 4pm on a Saturday) and were seated very fast. Shortly after half of the tables were seated.

They greatly improved their food quality since the last time we dined, roughly a month prior. Thank goodness! We especially love the calamari! And all the fish is super fresh. Amazing sake and drunk menu too!

They wouldn’t take to-go orders over the phone, and could only place them in person, so we drove a ways to do that. When we got there, we learned the bartender is in charge of BOTH manning the bar and taking to-go orders at the same time, a seemingly impossible ask for them, and frustrating as a customer who just wants to place and order and take it home for their family. Then because they were so busy they unfortunately left out part of our order after 40 minute wait. 18% mandatory gratuity for take-out is also a new concept and one that would keep us from coming back here. The food is good but the system for take-out is hectic / expensive and could be dramatically improved for customers.

Thr sushi 🍣 and sashimi are legit especially for a place like Truckee, which is up in the mountains, far removed from a metropolitan civilization. Other dishes such as the fried chicken and noodles 🍜 are tasty. Attentive service. We ate out with ny 2 grandtoddlers conveniently. Ambience is modernistic nice based on the industrial architectural design of the interior.

Picked up food for five at Drunken Monkey in Truckee, CA. The waitress mentioned an 18% gratuity for pickups, making it seem mandatory. No option to add gratuity on the bill, paid over $25 for pickup. While I understand gratuity for service, it feels excessive for just boxing food. They also forgot a sprite that was ordered. Tipping norms are getting out of hand in the United States.

Our first time visiting this establishment. The food was amazing. We had edamame which was perfect. Spicy tuna rolls, yummy. I ordered the Monkey roll and it was to die for!! Too bad I live in Boise, Idaho so cannot go here more often. I would be there at least once a week! Service was slow but we were patient. Kind of a classy place but there was only one bathroom open which was not good in a place this size.

Good food but service (bar & tables) has become inattentive & slow to the point it feels hostile (even for Truckee & on a comparably slow night with staff hanging out chatting). Litany of restaurant policies is indicative of the culture - even if there’s a rationale, it’s not hospitable. $20 & $40 cocktails with simple execution - even if the booze is high quantity, feels offensive. I hope they are willing to find some compassion for guests as the food is delicious. No doubt they’ve dealt with awful customers, but we’re not all bad. For now they’re staking vengeance on innocents, and I wonder if that approach feeds a cycle where customers then act worse in response. It’s a shame.

Went here for our 10th anniversary. Told the hostess this to pass on the waitress hoping the waitress might do something special (a desert, a glass of wine, anything). Clearly the waitress didn't get the message, so we told the waitress ourselves. Crickets. She "tolerated" our kids is the best way I could put it. No warmth from her or some of the other staff we interacted with. Just the young, cool people vibe. Probably one of the driest, most clinical restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. Bathrooms were out of towels and garbage cans overflowing, and this was before 6 pm and the main dinner rush. Made me question the legitimacy of the post in the bathroom saying they cleaned daily preceded by step-by-step instructions to staff AND CUSTOMERS on how to wash hands properly. If repeat customers is the measure of a business's growth potential, I'll say they got my $100 but they won't get any more from me. There are times when you spend that much and it feels like, "Wow, that was so worth it," and there are times when it feels like, "Man, shoulda chose somewhere else." This was the latter. Took something that could have been memorable and made it forgettable at best or memorable for the wrong reasons at worst. Specialty rolls were not as big as many others we've had. Sushi flavor was good, and that's why they get 2 stars.

Can we say delicious? Yes we can. You’ll pay too dollar though. It’s a bit on the pricy side. 3 rolls for $71.
The only gripe I have is the same as many others….
I stopped by for a to-go order for myself and they automatically charged me an 18% gratuity.
I’m charged an extra $10 bucks for not eating there. Not cool! Not cool at all!

Ok…the food. We loved the sushi, the flavors were bright and fresh and the temperature was perfect, it was a whole experience in my mouth. I’m particularly fond of a temperature gradient when it comes to sushi, so one of the rolls we had was a tempura style roll, it was warm and perfectly crispy on the outside but the innards and fish were still very cold…it was awesome, I love that!! This might seem a weird compliment but the Miso soup was also way above your standard sushi joint miso soup, it was much more rich and hearty…I’m actually still thinking about it. Will definitely come back on our next trip!

We are locals living in Incline Village and often eat at Druken Monkey. We really like the food here but our last visit was not a happy one. We came in early (around 4pm) to pick up to go on our way home from Reno. We went up to the bar to order where there were 2 people sitting at bar which turned out to be employees (who did not offer to get up). The bartender did not address us for about 5 minutes and when she did, in the middle of me simply asking if we should order to go here at bar she interrupted me and told me she would be right with me while she helped another customer. I then had to wait to ask to see a menu rather than being offered one and explain that I was ordering to go. Not a big deal, but what really is the issue is that after all that there was a mandatory 18% gratuity on a TO GO ORDER. ON A TO GO ORDER???? SERIOUSLY? I HAD to give a $22 tip for someone to take my order and then put it in a bag, all while being slightly rude. I am sorry but putting an 18% gratuity on a to go order is simply taking advantage. Tipping for dining service is one thing, for to go is quite another. I was extremely disappointed at this and quite honestly will not being supporting this establishment anymore. I am happy to pay for quality, I am happy to tip for good service (although I think it's time for some reform and restaurants paying all employees living wages like ALL small business have to rather then forcing a tip, me once being a server and now a small business owner). But I draw that line at an 18% tip for putting food in a bag while offering very minimal service.

Was very excited to try this place- and highly disappointed. The rice was hard, the presentation was awful, the chefs were young boys who didn’t know what a rainbow roll was. The tuna looked bad- thought we would get sick eating it- and the soy sauce smelled foul. We had to walk out.
It seemed like no one there knew anything about sushi. This is basically a bar. Don’t come here for the sushi.

I attempted to place a to go order via their online app, which is extremely limited, but better than dealing with the crowds in Truckee as a local. Last time I dined in, I was surrounded by flies landing all over our food and on us, thus not wanting to dine in.
The app was turned off, so we called and were told we could come in to the bar to order. I would have ordered from the other sushi restaurant in town, but they were closed.
There is something inherently wrong with having to come into a restaurant to order to go. I get it, you want to sell more drinks, but having to come into your restaurant to place your order is beat. Instead of ordering from the comfort of my home, and spending my time with my family, I’m forced to come in and wait over an hour for sub par chef skills, and lack of attention to detail, which with food can hurt or kill people with allergies, etc. I disliked when the app came about, and now this. This restaurant is going down the tubes.
The rolls were all falling apart, and an item was missing. The MOD Karlee, who took my order, said she was going to email me the receipt with the refund on the missing item, and never did. If they ever do send it, I will ask for the 18% auto gratuity to be removed, a gratuity is based on merit.

I have always enjoyed Drunken Monkey but was extremely disappointed tonight. The dining area smelled like fish when we came in. We were one of the first tables to be seated for dinner. Our table and menus were grossly dirty- I felt I needed to wash my hands before I ate after simply sitting down and handling the menu! Yuck. Not what one wants from a sushi restaurant, and not acceptable in any restaurant.
Our waitress was attentive and helpful; she helped us fix our wobbly table as well as clean the table (once we brought the dirty table to her attention). The manager did come to talk to us at our waitress's request and she did apologize for the dirty table but she should have skipped it-- she made it quite clear that she was put out and that we were wasting her valuable time. It was quite rude and not at all appeasing; I felt less valued as a customer after she talked to us.
We ordered one full sushi roll that was so small I was amazed they called it a roll. It did not hold together, it was smaller in diameter than a cigar, and the rice was cold. It would embarrass any true sushi chef to serve it. It was far from what I expected for $20, and definitely not high quality to justify the cost. We were careful to only order cooked seafood after the table and smell-- in hindsight we should have just left, but had the idea of other, pleasant dining at this restaurant in our minds and hoped for the best.
The menu layout and our experience this evening suggests the name of this restaurant is who they feel their clientele is.
I love sushi, and I am shocked by this experience. I highly recommend supporting another business.

This was our first time attending this restaurant, and we will not be returning.
Very disappointed in the quality of the fish. Sushi should not have remanence of scales stuck to the fish, and the fish should not have a strong fishy taste. I am visiting from out of town and eat sushi at a variety of different restaurants on a regular basis. I have never experienced this lack of quality at an actual sushi restaurant. I have had better quality sushi at our local natural foods store.
Also dissatisfied with the service, our entire party felt that because the gratuity was already applied, our servers did not care about the quality of their service. Our waters were never refilled the entire night. There were two dishes brought to the table that we did not order, one of which was applied to our bill. When the dishes were brought to the table, most of them were dropped at the end and we were not told what they were as far as rolls. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she told us that we “needed to be more conscientious about that we ordered.” How are we suppose to know what a rolls name is that we have never seen before? The hand rolls were disgusting, again, salmon that tasted unusually fishy, with remanence of scales and very off tasting tempura crab.
We had asked the waitress for a to-go box, which was never brought, and we had to go to the hostess for one.
The one person at the table with a shellfish allergy, who made this aware to our waitress, and we also made it apparent before reservations. Ordered a roll without any shellfish, ended up having a contamination reaction to her roll.
On another note, when I called for clarification before the reservation was made, I was told that the $20 per person deposit would be refunded back to my card, not applied to our bill. This was not the case, when the bill came it was applied. It was not made an option. This wouldn’t have been an issue if we had been made aware of it beforehand.
Our service and food did not deserve 20% gratuity. As someone who has worked in the high end food industry for the better part of 13 years, in server, manager and chef positions I was appalled. Many of our party has worked in customer service or the restaurant industry, and we are very conscientious of the struggles that come with being in that industry. But much of what we encountered was unnecessary. Especially considering that we were a very easy party, that was not loud, rowdy, demanding or making dozens of alterations/changing orders, and that the venue wasn’t busy.
I hope that this is discussed with the servers and kitchen staff, and that changes are made. It was a very disappointing experience considering this was a special occasion for our party, and we wish that we had gone somewhere else.

If I were rating the food only, this place is good, not great but definitely good. Unfortunately, the wait staff is often inattentive, slow, hard to get attention from, and their order system is totally worthless, with an extremely limited menu, and an unwillingness to accommodate a simple request for an avocado roll for a child. If management property, this could be a very good sushi restaurant!

TLDR: Great food, please try it if you like sushi. BUT, atrocious service. (More details below)
I love Drunken Monkey. We make a point to come out every time we are in Tahoe.
Today we were very disappointed in our experience.
They have shifted from fresh wasabi and ginger, to not. Which, as costs rise, is understandable but definitely a let down.
Our server today (8/8/23, outside on the patio at 1-2:30 pm, named Samantha B.) was rude and made harsh and snarky comments the whole time.
We did not want to tip her at all, but our party was 6 and gratuity was a mandatory inclusion as restaurant policy.
In addition to rude, she failed to separate the plating of our order, so people sitting farthest from each other- and on separate tickets- had their rolls on the same plate. When we asked for more plates, she brought one (not three, as was needed).
One member of our party wanted to purchase a shirt as a souvenir, and our waiter attempted to put that on our bill, within the 20% mandatory gratuity.
I’m sorry, but no, I’m not tipping you for a shirt. When we pointed it out the response was not “let me fix that for you” but rather “oh would you like me to separate the bills?”
She also charged a table near us as a 6 top, when it had 4 adults and 2 children under 3 years old. I have NEVER seen a restaurant do that, and felt it rude on her behalf to count them as 6. (Or maybe it is official restaurant policy as well, but either way felt like a money grabbing attempt).
Finally, our sales tax was based on our total AFTER gratuity was added.
So we paid an extra $5 on tax, because of the forced tip.
Very disappointed.

The first time we went here we left because the server was rude and took her almost 40 minutes to get to us even though there was almost no one around. We have since eaten here twice because some friends convinced us to try it one more time. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a good server sometimes you don’t. But I will say the food is amazing. Not just for being in Truckee. But the sushi taste surprisingly fresh. So I would recommend coming here as long as you know what to expect and your not pressed for time.

This is the best sushi place around and one of my all time favorite spots. They have great nigiri and always have hebi sabba which is hard to find and so so delicious, the high monkey maki is an excellent roll if that’s what you’re into. The small plates are all great and the cocktail list is great with locally made spirits. All in all, everything is great and always recommend this to anyone visiting.

We were a party of 8, and we did get seated right away when we walked it, amazingly enough. It was busy inside and outside. Half our party was the dumplings/noodle dish etc vs the other half were sushi diehards.
Many reviews were all over the place, but we had a great waitperson. She knew exactly what each person ordered even when we forgot! A very extensive menu overall. The sushi was very good. The other dishes were delicious as well. The sushi took longer to come out, but it was worth the wait. They have quite the sake list, which I haven't seen on the East coast in many places. By the glass, carafe or by the bottle. Both the sakes we tried were served cold. If you want hot sake, ask the server about choices.
Definitely would go again!

Tried to order food trays for a small wedding event. Spent months trying to get in contact with the cook and owner without any communication. Made lots of phone calls to the number and was told they never received any emails or communication. Went into the restaurant with the intention of trying to talk to Katie, whom we communicated with. She refused to come out and talk to us, no email responses from her afterward until the day of the wedding and had to figure out something else last minute because she was incapable of answering an email or talking to a costumer in person. Do not recommend them for food or for any type of catering, small event. Service and attention to costumers was awful.

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant I’ve had.
Our party of 6 got seated outdoors and got our waters. Then after figuring out orders we waited over 15 min for our order to get taken. Our server was nowhere to be seen and wasn’t polite or welcoming when he finally came.
Finally the food arrived 30 min later, and we actually didn’t get any utensils with it. After we asked our server for utensils we saw him head over to a neighboring table to take orders and just walked away. Ended up asking 3 separate workers to get some forks with no success and had to get up from our table to find our server inside the restaurant.
Overall food was ok and overpriced. But it was really the service that made it a 1-star dining experience. I’ve never been somewhere where the servers were so impolite and inattentive.
Wouldn’t recommend coming.

Our sushi rolls were not rolled tight so they fell apart as soon as you touched it. Our server had no personality and obviously hated her life. Don’t feel the need to ever go back.

Absolutely terrible. Overpriced, extremely slow service, dirty dishes, bugs in the food stay away at all cost. Asked for basic utensils three times and didn't get them until after our food came for more than 10 minutes. Automatic 20% service charge applied. Shows why they don't give a f.

Very disappointed after seeing how great the food “looks” but very bland in reality. The service was absolutely terrible, we felt forgotten about and my daughters food arrived much later than the rest of ours. Extreme over pricing for the quality and service. I DO NOT recommend. If I could give zero stars I would.

Poor service. We talked to the manager. As they claim Tapa styled food service therefore our dishes for the family came at different times. Three of us got our meals and we waited 15 minutes longer for 1 roll to arrive. We literally thought that a fine n dash was in order more like crawl away as no one seemed to be customer focused. Please AVOID!

What a joke this management is. I called for almost a week trying to get a reservation as their website will not accommodate a party larger than 10. We started calling over two weeks in advance to ensure there were no issues. We had 12 total with 5 kids and had no issues with their deposit policy. No response until they actually had some reservations on the books. We were told to look elsewhere. They have not only lost my business next week but moving forward. Thanks for help celebrating a 70th birthday.

The place is so nice..loved the ambience and food is so good. We had Sushi, Handroll and ramen and all were amazing. They don't have dessert. Other than that everything is perfect. We were travelling from lake Tahoe to Napa Valley and found this place. Really good must try place

Great sushi. Great service. Great music. Lively atmosphere. Cute little outdoor plaza seating area nearby under the trees for when you’re waiting or after you’re done. I come here every now and then from out of town. Usually a little noisy but as long as that doesn’t bother you it’s fantastic.

Nedim is an amazing chef. The fish was ultra fresh and we tried many varieties with the same report.
Everyone in the restaurant was polite and professional.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. It took 90 minutes to get 2 rolls while the table next to us (same waiter, 3 lovely people) had maybe 8-9 served in a 60 min period while we waited. Worst part - rolls are garbage. Don’t bother. Would not recommend if my life depended on it.

The worst restaurant in Tahoe. Foods nice but every time I go the service is the worst experience I ever have when eating out. I live so close to this restaurant but regularly avoid it like the plague. Lost reservations, wrong food showing up, you name it it’s never a good experience.

Always great service and always excellent sushi and drinks. I recommend the Hamachi sashimi and the sweet and sour roll

Good sushi quality for Truckee though limited role selection. Nigri was fresh and well portioned. Very good sake selection. Service was excellent even though it was busy as usual.

Second time with a similar experience. Called to ask if I can order carry out. “Yes, but you have to order here”. Drive over. 30 min later: I am here to order carry out. “Sorry, we are not taking carry out orders any more”. But you told me I could, that’s why I drove over. “Sorry, the kitchen is busy”. Infuriating. This time they finally offered “order as if you are dining in and we will box it up”. I asked how that helps anyone and just got a shrug. Then was handed over a very abbreviated carry out menu. Asked to order from a full menu and was told “no”. Said “but you said I should order as if I am dining in, why can’t I then use the dine in menu?”… Blank stare. Absolutely ridiculous.

Arrived at 8:30 but they weren’t accepting new reservations even though there were several other tables who looked like they’d just sat down. Went to FiftyFifty Brewing next door instead and had a great meal and time.

This place is always packed, so be prepared to wait. We came last Friday and waited about 30 minutes around 5:30pm. The food is definitely a mixed bag here, however the atmosphere is lively and fun.
We ordered the calamari, which was delicious, however it was absolutely smothered in sauce, the sauce was tasty, but overwhelming.....we would have preferred it on the side. I ordered the Singapore street noodles and my GF ordered some sushi rolls. The sushi rolls were excellent, but the Singapore noodles were way off the mark...not at all like the similar dish ubiquitous at many Chinese restaurants, this dish came in a brown, gloppy, gravy-ish sauce which stripped it of any light spicy, curry flavor that this dish may have originally had.
The restaurant, like pretty much everywhere nowdays is definitely understaffed, my noodles came out quickly, but well before the sushi rolls and my GF was still waiting for her sushi rolls after I was finished. The server was at least friendly about it and apologized.
Two of the three bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towels which made for a rather awkward experience and is inexcusable at an establishment like this, in my opinion.
That being said, we will likely go back in the future, but we will stick with the sushi and sushi rolls and will definitely skip the noodles.

Ok but not worth the price in my opinion. I got the tempura udon it was ok 4/5 stars but the amount of broth compared to the udon was absurd. Would maybe go back. For reference we showed up at 5 pm and we were done at 6. It was on a Saturday night so it was busy but not too busy. Would arrive before 5:30 if you have a group of more than 2.

We had Savannah as our server and she was amazing!! She offered things not listed on the menu and was very attentive enough she had many tables. We had the spicy tuna roll and dreamy monkey roll, spicy edamame, calamari, seaweed salad & green tea ice cream. Our favorite was the dreamy monkey roll, the fried calamari & ice cream! Sushi was very fresh too. Thank you so much Savannah, we will be back!

Family and I ordered a some of standard choices .Everything really was great.
There was a bit of a wait, but that’s all expected in a touristy town and they did a great job getting us in and fed. It’s was just a little problem and Scot take of that.
I’d recommend just plan ahead…and order a drink while you wait in the food and let your kid climb the rocks.
Over foods and all staffs and management did a great job, even though a lot of people.
I’d come back again, If my family and I make a trip down here.
Therefore , I’m going to recommend to my friends and family.
All tourists I’d suggest for this’s place, if you here in this’s town.

Literally everything was delicious. We came here for a birthday gathering last minute without a reservation. We got drinks at the bar (lavender collins for my gin people) while we waited for our table, which wasn’t long at all considering our party accommodations. Savannah was so kind and took great care of us. She recommended a few things that catered to our liking and it did not disappoint. The fish was so fresh too! Overall the atmosphere, food and staff really made our experience. Would celebrate here again. Thank you!

Props to the kitchen and service staff for their hard work. Went on a Sunday evening not thinking how packed it would be. Well worth the wait.
Once seated FOH was attentive and on point as well as BOH the food was incredible and came out fast. Definitely recommend!

Sat outside, ordered a beer, a roll and 2 nigiri. Beer out of stock, ordered a different beer, showed up quick. Roll showed up, 6 thin slices, almost no fish, dry, no wasabi or ginger, not even big enough for an appetizer, $16. Asked for wasabi and ginger, finally got it, then a nigiri I didn't order, sent it back. One of my nigiris finally showed up, waiting for the rest of my meal... Ten minutes later I got the third item and finally ate, barely. Still hungry, but didn't dare take a chance on wasting any more time or money on this place, so I paid, then walked next door for some excellent Thai food. What a waste. Never again.
