It's was great food, I like the fact that all of their Ramen is vegan based not pork as the majority of it is.
I have to say that the food here was over priced.
The reason I'm not giving this place a 5 stars ✨️ is because they accidentally served our food to someone else and he tasted and realized that wasn't his plate.
The most logical thing for them to do at this point was to make us another plate but they took it inside and brought it back to us within two minutes, my wife realized right away that it was the same food. I dont like this part, that wasn't very honest from them.

OK, I just wanna say that I’m not a vegan, but this is without a doubt the best Ramen I’ve ever had! I’ve had both the red hot miso and Japanese curry, and they are both to die for!!
I also wanted to try one of the mac & cheese varieties that they have there and I can also say that the mac & cheese with truffle is very good. I don’t know how they make it taste so great without the dairy but boy it’s a really amazing!

What an wonderful hidden gem.
Wanted to grab dinner in the area before the movies and found this place with great reviews online. Went expecting a wait but surprisingly there was only one group eating.
They were out of the mac and cheese so ordered the half spicy miso avocado roll which was absolutely delicious. The crispy rice had great texture and wasn’t greasy at all. The roll itself had an intense yuzu flavor that paired well with the avocado and the crispy fried scallions on top added a pop of crunch.
For the ramen, tried the ginger curry and red hot miso. They both come smoked which adds a nice nutty almost sesame undertone to each. The red hot miso definitely has a “kick you in the back of the throat” spice to it but nothing too overpowering. The broth is rich and bold. The ginger curry had an intensely curry flavor, not sure the ginger super stood out but did add to the complexity of the broth. The highlight of both though are the noodles themselves. They taste almost freshly made. They have some of the best bounciness and chew to them that stand up to a heavy broth.
All in all well worth a visit for vegans and non vegans. Service was super friendly. Only downside is maybe the small parking lot.

Super cool place for vegan ramen! I was impressed by the lighting and interiors as soon as I walked in. Smallish place with intimate table setting. We got the truffle salt ramen, the red hot miso and the roasted miso avocado roll. They all tasted fantastic! And the noodles? That’s the highlight feature that makes the ramen super high quality. The smoke dome is a great touch that adds a little mystery to the dining experience.

Soul touching ramen, exactly what you’ll get here!
During my trip I was looking for vegan ramen options and stumbled upon this place, got curios to see this is an all vegan place with so many ramen options (rare to find). Its a small plce but very crowded during peak times. Food comes out quickly but the service is okay!
Got the 3. Yuzu sesame per suggestion from the person there. I was asking for something creamy and they suggested this. Flavor was great, quantity amazing, price reasonable for the location.
I visited two more times and got 7. Ginger Curry. This time i asked for spicy suggestion. And OH MY GOD this was mind blowingly delicious! My mouth is literally watering while i write this review. If you are confused which one to choose, go for GINGER CURRY please and thank me later.
The avocado miso roll on the other side was way too salty. But i will ignore it for the sake of what I got in the ginger curry.

Best vegan ramen in LA and one of the best ramen I’ve ever had. I’m sure this will “wow” your omnivore friends too. Dimly lit, with an easy menu and great smokey presentation. 5 broths, 3 rolls and 3 Mac n cheese to pick from … when do you see Mac n cheese at a ramen spot!?!?! I need to go back for that.
The hot red miso packs flavor with a mild heat and the Yuzu brings a hint of citrus to the mix. Both broths were redonkulously DANKY and were presented covered with a clear dome, filled up with smoke. So cool, and a nice mild smoke flavor.
The avocado is torched on their avocado roll and easily makes it one of the best ones I’ve had.
Friendly service when you order, pick out a seat and they bring you your food.
Worth the drive, worth the limited parking, worth every penny and definitely a foodie destination.
Happy Munchies,

I ate here around the time when this location first opened as I heard about it in the news. Back then it was the best ramen I've ever had and I believe the best I will ever have. So much effort and care and knowledge were put into the dishes we were served. I believe he was the owner and chef behind the counter at that time. I went again 6 months later, two different employees working this time and the food had lost its flavor completely. I just drove the two hours from San Diego just to give this location one more try and it seems the flavor is still gone. The magic only comes from that one man. Would not recommend. :(

Finally a ramen place nearby and has gluten free options. The broth is so delicious and tastes authentic.
This is my third time here. I am super grateful to have a restaurant who takes pride in their work. Tight staff, clean, friendly and they always deliver.
Also I am severe Celiac and never have an issue. Just let them know.
It feels like a wholesome hug in your tummy.

We came here after a night at universal studios. Don't let the "boneless" part scare you. Raised in SGV, I can say that the spicy miso ramen is packed with so much flavor! The staff is super nice and extremely helpful.
I also like that this place is open late. It's our new go to spot after a fun night out.

As a tourist, this place has a cool underground hole-in-the-wall vibe while seeming pretty upscale and crafty. Small and intimate setting, and the Ramen is top notch and very fairly priced, I didn't think there was a vegan tax compared to non-vegan ramen, so that was a nice cherry on top. Even if you're not vegan, I'd check this place out for the uniquely flavored ramen. We had the Truffle salt and yuzu Sesame, both were yummy.

This place is some of the best vegan ramen I’ve had, and ramen is my favorite food so I’ve had a lot!! I’m surprised it doesn’t have more reviews. We got the spicy and the yuzu sesame. I’m not usually into yuzu in ramen but this just has the slightest yuzu flavor that compliments the sesame so much. Most people probably wouldn’t guess that this ramen is vegan until they see the tofu. Will be back next time I’m back in LA 🙂

Corner of a busy strip mall. Hard to find parking but worth it when you do. Didn't even realize it was vegan till almost done with the meal. The hot ramen is pretty spicy. Definitely warmed me up on a 55 deg night. Yuzu ramen was great. Avocado roll was great too

We drive 40 miles out for this delicious meal anytime we have a ramen craving. Staff here are always so attentive, pleasant, and helpful. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for you next bowl of ramen 💗

This restaurant makes me feel like it’s a restaurant that should be in the mall, but it chose to stayed in the block. The atmosphere just likes the bar, but quieter and finer. Service is good, cuz it works kinda like McDonald but not quite——ordering at front desk, but they'll bring the food to your table.
Last part, the food. It’s good, noodles are not too hard nor soft, and the ramen soup is flavorful. The flavor is quite balanced.
The most impressive part is the They cover the surface of the ramen with the smoke from the sandalwood, and cover it with a circular lid, and when you open the lid, the aroma will float out. (Seriously, it's like a Michelin 🌟 restaurant.)

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot on a cold night. Spouse is vegan so this was a pleasant surprise finding out the variety of plant based options. All the ramen and rolls are vegan. I didn’t verify if the Mac and cheese dishes were. Either way, don’t let it put you off it you’re used to having animal protein. The tofu was perfectly seasoned and really firm texture. All the broths seemed to be on the heavier side but really flavorful. Pretty IG worthy as others’ reviews have shown. I think they have to keep the front door open just to air out the smoke from every order. It’s a counter service joint, extremely small with only about ten 2 seater tables-which you can push together to seat a bigger party. The staff was quick, friendly and attentive. Would definitely revisit if given the opportunity in the future. The only downside is the awful parking, but what do you expect? It’s LA.

For my 65th birthday, my cousin took me out for a nice dinner. The real story is that I've just quit drinking and smoking last year, and she wants me to become more vegetarian.
It's an idea that I've been thinking about, too.
After all, red meat is stressful on the body, doesn't digest well, and keeps you from sleeping. I need my sleep, but where is the glamor in vegetables and noodles?
It's right here - at RedWhite Boneless Ramen.
The meal is an elegant show. From the initial quietude when you enter the restaurant, to opening the smoke-filled cloche that covers your meal, the friendly RedWhite restaurant makes you feel both astonished and at home.
The end result is that I am no longer an outcast in a vegetarian restaurant. The Ramen was expertly prepared, and the low lights and soft murmurs of the happy diners made me feel comfortable in my new place in Studio City.

Such an amazing place! I love ramen but sadly am a vegetarian so it was always so hard to find a place that even had a vegetarian broth, let alone put any effort into it. I've tried so many and was disappointed. The best I had found previously suffering loads of disappointments was Tastu. This place beats it hands down and is the best vegetarian (vegan) ramen I've ever had, bar none. The flavor of the broth is incredible and the noodles are perfect.
To be honest, some of the topping choices like arugula and alfalfa sprouts wouldn't be my toppings of choice. (Just know, I detest alfalfa...like eating a pile of someone's hair 🤢) so if you're like me, just have them hold it 😜
The smokey trick adds such a nice hint over what is already a wonderful complex broth. Have been there many times since it first opened and will keep going back.
The only gripes (besides the alfalfa) is that parking is a little tough in that area and the lot is always full at peak hours. It's a little small. Hopefully they take off and can expand to bigger diggs. Rooting for ya Red/White :)

The ramen broth was mediocre and there were not enough vegetables. One way to improve their ramen is to actually have vegetables in there. You’re basically paying for overpriced ramen noodles. For a vegan ramen restaurant you’d expect them to have it loaded with vegetables. The avocado roll we thought was going to be tempura or deep Fried. It was good also, I think if they heated the rice up it would take the roll to the next level. Overall, they’d need to make these changes for me to consider coming back.

I've been lucky enough to travel to Japan several times to eat and try new Vegan food, overall the consensus remains the same; best food in the world. This place is no different and what's even better, it topped all of the Vegan ramen I've had in Japan to date (well beyond anything I've found in the US).
They brought so many of the traditional flavors from Japan, but added some LA style twists. We tried the curry, yuzu and miso ramen. Each one was incredibly distinct in flavor and unique, plus the toppings paired perfectly. This place is no joke, these are full bodied ramens and their chili oil was worth it 🔥.
Yuzu was probably my favorite, I've never had anything quite like it. The other two are a close second either way and next time I'm hoping to try the red, as well as the truffle ramen. This place really is legit and I hope whether you're Vegan or not, you give this place a chance.

The vibe alone would have earned it good marks. But this soup; it’s worth it. I’m not a vegan, and if you didn’t tell me this was meat free, you’d have me fooled. The flavor profiles are THERE. The texture is thicker than most ramens, but they use it to a good advantage. They smoke their soups, which adds a nice, campfire cooked flavor to it. The tofu is firm, yet not chewy. The Crispy unions and sesame seeds give it a nice pop, and the noodles are cooked infinitely better than any packaged ramen noodles can manage.
They bring a fire to a dish that you wouldn’t expect, and I’m all there for it. 10/10, would come back again

This was absolutely delicious. I did not realize everything on the menu is vegan! It was so so good. Kind of a quick service counter where you place your order, then grab a seat and food comes to you. My wife got the #3 I think it's the original miso ramen, I got the #8 which was spicy. We both loved our dishes. I got the combo, which includes a "risotto". Basically they include rice and cheese to throw into the soup, and I thought it was excellent.
Very simple shop, simple setup, and stunning food.

My group and I came here in the later evening after spending a full day walking in the sun. The host was friendly and told us about a popular avocado miso roll and helped us with any questions. I ordered the ginger curry ramen, canned green tea, and split the suggested roll. The green tea refreshing af. The ramen was clutch with just the right amount of heat and spice, broth clung to the noodles with every slurp. The roll filling and tasty. Simply delicious. Amazing Vegan ramen. Everything is vegan. Bring this place to the top of your places to go to. Red hot ramen is about a 6/10 on the spice-o-meter and it’s 🔥.
They give you rice for your extra soup for a risotto style finish. Nom nom. Get in my belly.
Also I’m yet to find good vegan Mac and cheese. Well not anymore. They’ve figured it out.
And the sushi is good.

Overall: 4.7/5 (dine in)
This place is located right next to a smoke shop. It's a pretty small restaurant with a minimalist design. The food here is all vegan so it blows my mind how tasty everything was. We asked them to do the smoke down for ramen which was pretty cool to experience because you get to take off the top.
Their soup ramen comes with soboro (soy meat & tofu), crispy onion, corn, arugula, and alfalfa. I can't believe how amazing this combination work. The only thing that could use some work is the soboro texture. It doesn't resemble ground meat as much as the broth is akin tonkatsu broth.
No. 8 Red Hot Miso ($16.95): Delicious and spicy! The broth is full of umami and had so much depth. To think that this could be achieved with vegetables. I talked to the chef who said he believes there needs to be layers to the vegan broth in order to achieve umami. I 100% agree. I ate slowly and literally savored each bite. The noodles were one of the best I had. Perfect texture, bounciness, and taste. I finished the whole bowl but didn't feel heavy or get any uncomfortable bloating. I was so satisfied that I didn't crave anything for days.
No. 5 Yuzu Sesame (16.95): How is this flavor even possible??!! Subtle Yuzu flavor but the broth was flavorful enough. Perfectly balanced bowl of heaven.
Roasted Miso Avocado ($5.80): This was pretty good but not as amazing as everyone made it out to be.
Mac & Beets ($8.80): They give a generous amount of crispy fried onions which is really what gives it flavor. The beet flavor is very subtle. It has the same texture and similar cheese taste as the Kraft boxed Mac & cheese.
For the two appetizers, I feel like they're good to try once but for the ramen, they got me hook-line-and sinker. You have to try this place at least once!

Service was amazing. Food was top notch. My son has been wanting to come here for quite some time and he was not disappointed. We are vegan and have only had vegan ramen one other place. It was nice to come to a fully vegan ramen restaurant that was so flavorful.
Upon arriving, the menu was explained very well. On another note the cold water is delicious too! Haha! Either it was the best water we ever had or we were dehydrated from our visit to Griffith Observatory!
My son says he will prefer to get his ramen without the smoke next time. He was glad he tried it as is, but thinks he'll like it even better without.

Total gem! Welcoming and cozy, super flavorful ramen - a place that specializes in vegan ramen and knocks it out of the park. There’s another location in Boston - support small restaurants! Small shared parking lots, or meters on the street (payment not needed after 8pm)

Absolutely fantastic. Might be the best ramen I’ve ever had. The service was amazing, they were all so kind. Will 100% be coming back

THE. BEST. RAMEN. I’VE. EVER. HAD.
Food is incredible! Both ramens my girlfriend and I had were the best I’ve ever tasted.
Do yourself a favor and get the Roasted Miso Avocado. I haven’t tasted miso like that since I was *in* Japan.
I’m telling all my friends so I can bring them there one at a time and eat it over and over.

The best vegan anything I've ever had. The soup stock is amazingly flavorful, and you wouldn't know it has no pork bones in it. The noodle is chewy and does a good job of soaking up the soup stock flavor.

This restaurant is located in a nondescript building white a sign out front that says open. Seriously, the best ramen that I’ve had. I was on vacation and wanted some ramen and didn’t even notice that it was vegan and I’m glad that I didn’t because I probably wouldn’t have eaten there and what a loss that would’ve been. The food was phenomenal and the owner was very nice and down to earth. He talked about how this was his second location and he explained his journey from Japan to Boston to Los Angeles. If you’re a fan of ramen do not miss out if you have an opportunity to go.

I've never enjoyed ramen so much. You have to check this place out- it's hidden in a plaza with (at times) challenging parking, but it is worth the visit. Not only is the food fun and delicious, it's creative. I've been twice and both times I was so impressed.

Yes. Really amazing quality vegan ramen here. On a summer day, their cold noodles hit hard.

Really nice place, very chic and trendy, but still cozy and inviting.
Service was friendly and helpful, food came super quickly.
Food was delicious! Huge portions and very rich. Loved the flavors, everything was really fresh and you could taste each ingredient.
Ordered just as it came, looking forward to customizing and experimenting next time.
Hopefully they add a classic broth version, something lighter for lunches. But the soupless noodles look really good too.
It was all really nice and I can’t wait to bring friends and family!

Very friendly customer service and large portion of ramen. My boyfriend and I left satisfied and would go back!

SO good! We tried the yuzu and miso ramen, and the avocado app. All is delicious and customer service is superb. I can’t wait to come back and try other menu options.

It’s rare to find vegan ramen as carefully and intentionally crafted as what you can find at RedWhite Ramen. I got the red hot miso and it was excellent—the broth was rich and the noodles had an excellent spring to them. I absolutely recommend them.

Hands down the best vegan ramen we’ve tried!! We’ve been to their location in Boston, which is very popular among vegans and non-vegans alike, and we were so excited to see this one open up in LA. We ordered the original miso and the red hot miso, and both were incredibly flavorful and delicious! Exactly like what we had at the Boston location. Additionally, our waiter was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

Delicious vegan ramen

I totally recommend this place, I had the hot miso noodles, and they hit the spot, super savory. Street parking is only 1.25 per hour and we had enough time. I did take my kiddos, and they enjoyed it, too.

This is a vegan ramen shop. Good for vegans. Terrible, if you’re anything else. The Yuzu Sesame broth tasted bitter and sour. Nothing was savory, And the ingredients overall tasted cheap. Genuinely, the noodles tasted like overcooked cup of ramen. The best part of the meal was the fresh bean sprouts.
The rice with cheese on top reminded me what eating school lunches was like. The rice wasn’t fresh, and tasted like it had been left out on the counter overnight.
While I did enjoy how they tried to make the food instagram-able by placing a giant glass serving dish on top and adding in steam afterwards? (the steam didn’t smell like anything, maybe they were trying to fake that the food was piping hot?) it’s a pretty effect but adds nothing to the experience.
Genuinely this place is gonna sink if they can’t up their food game. Which sucks, we genuinely need more vegetarian options.
It also seems like they are trying to be a date spot with their low lighting, they really need some decorations. It’s so barren it’s unnerving.
Really wanted to like this place. Will give it a second chance if it’s still there in a year.

Outstanding authentic ramen. limited menu but for good reason. Its quality > quantity with this establishment

Really impressed by this small but upscale and inventive restaurant. Chef owned and operated this is his second location. Their other is in Boston and very popular. They have the most creative ramen and sides and truly exquisite all around. A future vegan ramen legend in our own backyard!

Excellent vegan ramen, great ramen in general.
I've had excellent vegan ramen perhaps 3 times in the US, and this was easily in the top 2. Compared to veggie ramen, this is easily top 5 I've had in the US, and it's great ramen compared to traditional pork broth ramen dishes.
I got the No 5 Yuzu Sesame and frankly it was delicious. They added a dome filled with what I assume was a smoked wood which added a cool flavor dimension. I also opted for the 'combo' that came with rice to sop up the remainder of my ramen once the noodles were gone. The noodles were excellent, the soy/veggie protein was hearty, and the veggies tasted great.
Seems relatively new, and things were fast, the location was clear, and the staff were attentive. They even let me charge my phone when I arrived (it had died in transit).
I highly recommend this ramen to vegans, vegetarians, and ramen lovers more broadly who might be looking for some fun flavor!

Maybe my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to, unreal ramen I had the yuzu, we had to go twice despite the drive from where we were staying and it was completely worth it, I loved the combo adding the rice to finish it off too + the Mac and cheese is bang on, miss this place now back in the UK!

Went last night, we have been to the other one in Boston so knew it was good. The owner is super friendly and the ramen is incredible - as good as anything we had in Tokyo a few months ago. Try the miso avocado, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m blown away how good their plant-based broth is! I got the Yuzu sesame ramen. Usually my problem with plant based broth is its just watery and has no depth. Well this one is soo good and thick! So much flavor that you forget its plant based. Also its not overly salty! It has that tonkotsu depth flavor without the greasiness. Also their noodles is cook to perfection. Like made with good ramen noodles. We also tried their ginger curry and that is also amazing. I make a lot of Japanese curry and their broth is just amazing like 12/10. Getting the combo is great way to finish the broth since the rice soaks up the soup and eating it with different texture. Will definitely go back!

Great experience from start to finish! We had the yuzu ginger and the truffle salt - both were incredible! The avacado miso was delicious. Highly recommend!

Best ramen in town by far and away

REDWHITE was so good! It's hard to find ramen joints with vegan options, let alone an all-vegan menu. I had the spicy miso, and my partner had the sesame yuzu - both were excellent. They asked if we wanted smoky flavor, and we said sure. I was thinking they'd add some ingredient, but when it was served they actually had a special domed cover on the bowls to hold in hickory smoke like a fancy cocktail, super cool! 😁

GREAT VEGAN RAMEN PLACE!!! A typical phrase to say when you go to a vegan place that's good "I didn't know it's vegan". For sure, they did it here! I could tell that tofu was tofu but the soup didn't lack any flavor that non-vegan ramen had.
We went on the first day they opened and the owner was their. They came from Boston to LA. It's actually the best vegan ramen I've had in LA so I was glad they came.
For first timer, I was suggested 2 steps: choose ramen then choose soup.
Ramen has: (1) Ramen (2) Combo (3) Mix
Soup has: No 3,5,7,8,9
I actually wanted to try yuzu which they say was very famous but accidentally swapped the bowl with my friends because we didn't know how they're supposed to look like. So I ate the curry instead. It was good tho. I couldn't tell the curry itself was vegan.
The smoking bowl is very instagrammable. I totally recommend getting some shots or videos of your bowl. It's very pretty!
I and my friends just thought that our bowls were a bit salty. I wanted to finish the soup but it's too flavorful to do so. Otherwise their ramen is PERFECT!!
Free parking lot in the plaza area. They have short-time parking for pick-up in front of the restaurant too. Just a little drive from Ventura freeway, very convenience!! I totally recommend.
