Casual bar & grill serving New American fare & sushi in rustic, sleek surrounds.
Their burgers are absolutely incredible—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each bite is a perfect balance of fresh ingredients and bold, satisfying flavors. It’s clear they take pride in their food, and it shows.
The restaurant does get quite busy, especially during peak hours, but the energy of the place adds to the experience. The staff are efficient and friendly, which makes the wait more bearable if you have to wait for a table.
One small suggestion would be to offer buns without sesame seeds in the future, as it would make the burgers more accessible to those with allergies or preferences. That said, the quality of the food and the excellent service keep me coming back.

The Honor Bar in Beverly Hills is a hidden gem, especially if you’re a fan of a well-crafted chicken sandwich. Their chicken sandwich, served on a fluffy brioche bun, is an absolute must-try. The chicken is tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned, with a crispy exterior that pairs perfectly with the soft, slightly sweet brioche. Their coleslaw deserves special praise—it's hands-down the best in town, if not the world. Creamy, tangy, and incredibly fresh, it complements the sandwich beautifully. And let’s not forget the French fries—crispy, golden, and full of flavor. If you're in the mood for something different, their burgers are also excellent, delivering the same level of quality and flavor. The Honor Bar nails the trifecta of chicken sandwiches, burgers, and fries, making it a go-to spot for a casual yet top-notch meal in Beverly Hills.

I had an incredible experience at Honor Bar in Beverly Hills! The kale salad was fresh and vibrant, and the crispy chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delicious creamy dressing. The intimate and stylish atmosphere makes it ideal for a casual yet elevated dining experience. Valet parking is available, which is really convenient, especially since street parking in the area can be a bit tricky to find. If you do opt for street parking, there are paid spots with 1-2 hour limits, but they fill up quickly. Being connected to South Beverly Grill is a nice bonus for those wanting more options. I’ll definitely be back for the great food, service, and cozy vibe.

Place is really special! Chicken sandwich or Cheeseburger!! You can’t go wrong either or both. Buttered sesame buns and so much juicy flavor! Great place to take friends and family. I do wish the wine prices were a bit more reasonable, but those two food items make this place a staple and a 5 star every time. Definitely go here next time you’re in Beverly Hills!

Honor bar boasts the best Chicken Sandwich in LA, and is the coziest, most intimate spot to casually dine. Like other Hillstone restaurants, Honor Bar excels in top tier customer service and consistency. The food, whether it is the sushi or the sandwiches, is consistently delicious, fresh, and indulgent. The drink selection is also top tier, and their Mi Sueño cabernet is incredible.
If I were to recommend any dishes, I would go for the Chicken Sandwich, the Honor Burger, the Pressed Roll, the Thai Tuna role, or the Rainbow Roll. Best bet for a great experience is to start with a sushi or salad, and enjoy a sandwich for the main. The Kale salad is also a great notable starter.
In sum, what makes Honor Bar so special, when compared to other Hillstone locations and local restaurants, is the warm ambience, its relatively small nature, and the lack of reservations. For a smaller place like this, I appreciate how it is a first come first serve basis, even if the wait times are long.

We were welcomed by a friendly matier’d. SBG does a good job at making a warm and comfortable atmosphere, even with the noise (which I find excessive.)
I got the chicken sandwich, which was excellent. Crispy breading, moist chicken, and flavourful. There was a lot of bread compared to filling, but I do not mind that and think it works. I found the fries a little too thin, but that is definitely a personal preference.
One criticism is that I find the sushi hardly worth the price, and I would not order it in future. Despite that, I had a great time. Service was friendly, engaging, and professional.

Very nice place in Beverly Hills. My girlfriend brought me here to try their signature chicken sandwich that was very good but even if it’s signature I would melt the cheese..no way that you put cold cheese in a sandwich. Fries were very good and the margaritas were amazing!
If you are not a big eater share the sandwich because it’s huge!
Considering the location they should take care the ventilation system because it’s not nice going out smelling by food so much.
Overall great typical place that I recommend to everyone in the area

The Honor Bar is very famous around Los Angeles, especially on social media. It’s in a beautiful part of town, Beverly Hills, and it’s designed really well on the inside. It’s dark, but lit enough so you can read the menu but not see every single detail around you. I’m a huge fan of mood lighting, so was a big fan immediately when I walked in. Similar to a darker East Coast steakhouse. Directly next-door to South Beverly Grill, they both share a parking lot and offer valet for $20, but we were able to find street parking a block away, even though it was metered. As the name implies it is a bar, however, they also have table seating, and not only do they have great drinks, but they are known for their great food, especially their crispy chicken sandwich. We made last-minute reservations the morning of the day we wanted to stop in and we were able to be seated right when we arrived for a 7 PM Wednesday night dinner. The hostess was very polite and we were seated at one of the high top tables immediately after entering. It was pretty crowded on the inside, but not too loud. They also have another location in Montecito, which I plan to try next time I am up there.
Honor bar is especially known for their Dings Crispy Chicken Sandwich so we had to order one. It’s a very large portion, so would be easy for two people to split it. I thought it was truly fantastic and worth its reputation. I think it would be even better if there was an avocado smash included but still I enjoyed it very much. They’re also well known for their burger which I plan to try next time. We ordered the Kale Salad to start and it was good although nothing out of the ordinary so I would recommend skipping that. They also have a very large sushi menu, which is a great option. We split the Rainbow Roll and it was great. The seafood was very fresh and everything was prepared perfectly.
Overall pricing is pretty fair, especially given where it’s located. The food and drink quality is great and the service is super fast. I can definitely see why it has the reputation it does and I plan to be back in the future.

Extremely awful experience and customer service. Walked in to the restaurant and was not greeted at all. Bar seating was completely empty and there empty tables. I sat down at the bar seating to order food and was told to leave that there are 11 tables on a waiting list in front of me. Having dined in this establishment both here and in Dallas, TX, I have never experienced this level of horrendous hospitality and most especially, when the restaurant wasn’t even busy. I feel I have been discriminated against due to disabilities.

Twice I have went there and twice made to feel unwelcome. The first time I tolerated it, the second a couple of years after the first, it was worse. Just an overly priced venue with pretentious staff and customers. Avoid as lots of better bars around.

I walked up at lunch to grab a spot at the bar. I waited only about 5 minutes and they got me seated very quickly at a small table. That was perfect because I needed to do some work anyway.
The server was fast and friendly. They took my order and I had my sandwich in about 5 minutes after ordering. I got the crispy chicken sandwich which was delicious.
The atmosphere is dark and broody in a very cook and chic way. I loved it and will definitely return.

After driving 30 minutes, honor bar says “we don’t accept party’s of 5”, they said want to sit 3 and 2.
Visited 5 months ago
We were seated (a party of 5) and then after taking our drink order the host came over and Informed us we couldn’t eat there as there were 5 of us and apparently they can only seat 4 at the large booth we were in (he did this after seating us) and gave us zero explanation as to why. Never seen that happen in a restaurant ever really, zero apology zero accommodation at the restaurant next door or in the restaurant. Wish i could give less than 1 star as that was embarrassing and rude. We live in the area and will not go back to Honor bar or SBG. Stay away because no fries or chicken sandwich is worth that type of awful snobby service we endured.

Before you think of coming to the bar let’s note that you cannot sit at the bar without a reservation. That reservation, regardless of available seats, goes in order of the list. Party of 4 ahead of you? They wait until they have 4 contiguous seats and they save anything less than 4 to get to the 4. You can’t eat unless you are seated, and you can’t sit unless you make a reservation, and even then it has to be the correct number of chairs for the available seats.
In short; it’s unbelievable. This is a bar Mr. Owner, we come to get a drink and a bite — first come first serve. Making people stand for a waiting list where people aren’t even here? Lame. Just lame.

The Honor Bar in Beverly Hills is a gem that perfectly blends a cozy atmosphere with chic vibes. Located in the heart of 90212, this spot is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal or a casual drink in a stylish setting.
The first thing that struck me was the ambiance—intimate, warm, and perfect for a date night or a small gathering with friends. The dim lighting and comfortable seating create a relaxing environment where you can unwind and enjoy your evening.
As for the food, it's top-notch. I had the Honor Burger, which was cooked to perfection with a juicy patty and just the right amount of toppings. The crispy fries that came with it were seasoned perfectly and made for a satisfying combo. My partner ordered the Ding's Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and it was equally impressive—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor.
The drink menu is well-curated, offering a great selection of wines and cocktails. I opted for the Honor Bar Margarita, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. The service was friendly and efficient, with staff members who were attentive without being intrusive.
The only slight downside is that the space is a bit small, so it can get crowded during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. But honestly, the experience is worth it.
Overall, The Honor Bar is a must-visit if you're in Beverly Hills. It's a spot where great food, drinks, and atmosphere come together seamlessly. I’ll definitely be returning!

Update: I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and the quality is still the same. The best burger in town, easily. Perfect intimate date spot too. The fries are a must, we usually order 2.
The Thai Crunch Roll is a heavenly combination that I’ve never experienced before. Recommend highly

It's a Starbucks with a bar and food, not a nice place. I was at the Honor Bar with two other people, making a party of three. Once we got there, we were told that we would wait for 45 minutes. After 20 minutes, we got a call that the table was ready. We got to the place and waited for an additional 45 minutes. In the end, we decided to order to go. Once the food was ready, the table was ready too, so we got a chance to dine in.
I noticed that they gave tables suitable for 3-4 people to parties of two, so there were no tables available for parties of three or more. There is no policy for people to leave the place. I saw people who came over at 6:00 PM finish their food and continue chatting at the table until 9:30 PM. There is no prioritizing system for the customers, and the management is poor. It's like you can sit at Starbucks from morning to night, but here they serve you food and alcoholic beverages.
Super poor management.

We walked in asking for a table and the waitress told us it was an hour wait, we didn’t mind the wait so we put the phone number. We then get a text saying our table is ready and we replied immediately saying we are coming, it took us 5 minutes to get to the restaurant just to be told that we were late and they gave our table. Apparently the manager was the one who decided to do all of this and was extremely rude to us making us wait another 50 minutes. Ashley the manager is giving the restaurant a very bad reputation.

I mean the chicken sandwich was tasty...
But entirely overpriced. $23? No sides?
You got sushi rolls on the menu cheaper than that and sushi is overpriced everywhere. Half of it is just rice, mayonnaise, and cream cheese.
And no, for that price the sandwich is not big enough to split. They just cut their sandwiches in thirds because they like spending money on the wooden stakes that keep it together. Plus they pound the breast so flat you could be fooled into thinking the sandwich was actually meatless.
The place definitely has a buzz about it though, considering its location. Try the connected restaurant next door with the full size menu. I was given the lowdown by a regular patron that it serves the same sandwiches with sides included in the price. And has 3x the seating.

What an amazing find in Beverly Hills. I'll start with the kind hostess who welcomed us . The atmosphere is so perfect and cozy . I love the low lighting so comfortable. Our waiter and other waiters so very nice and attentive. My water was always full (I drink alot of water) we started out with the devil eggs WOW they were so delicious better than mine lol I wish they come in 6 instead of three. The fries are so yummy. I had the tuna sandwich let me tell you the best I ever had the bread was so soft . I need the recipe of the homemade tasting tuna . My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. Drinks so good too . Thank you for an amazing lunch . We will definitely go back will be worth the 2 hrs drive

Drinks are good here and the vibe is chill. It’s a nice size place, feels like a haunt you would duck into in SF or NY. The low score for atmosphere is because it’s too Smokey from the kitchen - it needs better ventilation. Our clothes smelled like grill the rest of the night. BUT, I’ll be back, only to sit outside though.

Honor Bar is one of our favorite neighborhood spots, just south of Wilshire. Good cocktails and a very tasty menu. They are known for their fried chicken sandwich but if you’re eating healthier… we recommend the kale salad and any of the sushi. Cocktails are very good. Its connected to Hillstone but has its own vibe and is also connected to the liquor store next door, which regularly has wine tasting. You can a buy bottle there and they will bring it to you inside Honor Bar. The team service is consistently friendly and professional.

After waiting the usual (long) wait time until we received the text letting us know our table is ready(!), the hostess conveniently gave our table away right in front of us to the next party arriving and had us wait another 20 minutes to finally sit!!! Absolutely no sense of apology or even acknowledgment when we pointed out that it has been 20 minutes since our table has been “ready” either… what a pity when irresponsible, unprofessional, inexperienced people are in charge of an otherwise great establishment.

The food is always amazing at these restaurants, we are regulars at Hillstone in Santa Monica and never have I ever experienced such poor service at one of these restaurants. Not only did our waitress not once check in on us, as many people were sitting after us in the dining room, they all received their food way before our table did and they were able to complete their meal much quicker than we were able to. The staff tried to say that “they do not course things out” but tell me why people who ordered 15 minutes after us were finished with their meal before we even got appetizers! We were also lied to by the waitress about question we had about the menu, she clearly did not know what she was talking about especially whenever there are only 5 entre options on the menu. Overall I would say that this was poor service from the staff and I would have never had that issue being at Hillstone. I highly recommend going to Hillstone in Santa Monica over this play ever.

Best chicken sandwich in LA very nice location and great ambiance/crowd. Service is very very good too and the wait is never too long, even has a comfortable waiting area outside. The consistency of the food every time you go is something I notice too, the chicken sandwich is always the exact same deliciousness.
If I didn't love it so much I would do 1 star off because cash is not accepted as payment for some reason, which is REALLY weird. Would have been find if we knew this beforehand. Not a big deal at all just really weird.
So if I were to get up and leave in a rush, not having been told beforehand about this policy, and put cash on the table to cover dinner+tip, you would say I'm stealing? What kind of human or business doesn't accept cash? Very weird.
Otherwise if you have never been, it is 100% worth it and one of the best spots in Beverly Hills. Very good "vibes" if you will. Even might get a chance to sit next to your favorite celeb if you're lucky like I did!

Could not stress enough - stay far away from this restaurant!! The staff is extremely rude and unpleasant. I had put my name down on the waitlist and went next door for a drink and waited over an hour. I called to check in on where we stood in line and was told they tried to contact me and I didn’t answer. Turns out they took down the wrong phone number. They proceeded to tell me I was re-added to the list and there are 3 parties in front of me even though it was there mistake. When I asked to be put first she raised her voice and told me she is the manager and could deny me service. Unfortunately after this conversation I had no choice but to still eat there since it was already 9:30pm. Our waitress was very nice up until she charged my credit card twice, brought me two sign here receipts and did not even say anything about her mistake. I had to call back 3 times to get anyone who actually listened to me and finally returned my money.

Let me tell you, the burgers at Honor Bar are seriously on another level. I've had my fair share of Minnesota burgers, and these bad boys are right up there with the best. The way the flavors hit you, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth, and you can just feel the love that went into crafting these burgers.
don't even get me started on their chicken sandwich. It's seriously a trip to Flavortown. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the toppings they stack on there just take it to a whole new level of delightfulness.
So, if you're looking for some mind-blowing munchies that'll take your taste buds on a wild ride, Honor Bar is the place to be.

The moment we walked in, we were met by Shalize the hostess. She is so fabulous, so professional, such charisma and charm about her which made the long wait for a table a breeze. Our waiter Charly was also very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about the menu. We ordered the kale salad and the crispy chicken sandwich which were phenomenally delicious! Last but not least we had the pleasure to meet Alexa the manager who was very patient and accommodating.
Loved Honor Bar - we are going back soooooon!!!

Honor bar has become my weekly staple in Beverly Hills. We always buy a bottle at the shop next door and they uncork it for you at the restaurant. Their crispy chicken sandwich is delicious: buttery bread, crispy chicken, and perfectly dressed kale. The service is quick and efficient. Don’t miss the weekly wine tastings at the wine shop next door!

I would say that I picked this place on a wim. We waited maybe 45 min for table cause they don't take reservations but it was by far the best chicken sandwich I have ever ever ever had . The sushi was amazing too and the fries where spectacular. THE FOOD AND SERVICE AMAZING REALLY... I'm here on vaca from Florida too great 👍 👌

Still pricey, but now I'm nostalgic

Been coming here forever. I don't know what happened but the quality and quantity has gone down.
Firstly our fries came out 10mins before chicken sandwiches. Mine were cold so i sent back.
Then my sandwich barely had any chicken in the 2 end pieces out of the 3.
The parties next to us were also leaving a ton of bread on their plates that were being cleared
Very disappointed and left dissatisfied

Long wait times, but honestly worth it for the chicken sandwich. Can’t imagine why anyone would order anything else from the menu.

The. Best. Chicken. Sandwich. In. LA. Or maybe THE WORLD. Seriously though, I went on Keto recently bc I wanted to make my life more difficult, and broke it for this chicken sandwich. I have broken keto before and I felt like I had chugged eight bottles of dollar store vodka from a plastic jug; head ache, stomach ache, etc. When I broke keto this time for this chicken sandwich, I knew I was going to pay for it but decided the pain was worth it. But… no keto hangover. This chicken sandwich was so good that my body accepted it as actual good, healthy, food. If that’s not praise enough for you to try this chicken sandwich then you cannot be helped.

Loved it as much as the first two times I've been here. Service is exceptionally fine. Food is to die for and the classy atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and feel pampered with good food and service. Thank you all at Honor Bar for the experience.
Chicken Sandwich is a MUST you have to try.

Prezzi adeguati a beverly hills.

They run out of tuna burgers early and the wait for a table is nuts

I was very shocked by how good this place was. While I generally tend to do some research before going anywhere, I did not do so this time.
These burgers are amazing, very well cooked. The wine was to die for and they both made for a great combination.

The crispy, tender, and fragrant chicken sandwich turned out great! I would absolutely come back for that alone. The bartender also prepared a delicious mojito. Highly recommend this place!

I used to love this place. My wife and I would order the chicken sandwich weekly or more! The culture of the staff has gone completely sideways. Also, the food and presentation has suffered, it seems like they are cutting corners to save money.
You lose quality, you lose even more money once the consumers realize the void.

Honor bar is a Hillstone institution, meaning that if you’re a fan of R&D Kitchen, Houstons, and Hillstone itself, then you’ll feel at home here. Nice atmosphere, great drinks. Make sure to make a reservation as this place gets tight, although bar is always open with a wait out front. Fantastic chicken sandwich, and dare I say… BEST SUSHI IN LA?!? At an American Bar?? 🤯
Judge for yourself.
