I’m so glad I didn’t payed attention to the bad reviews! This place is BOMB! The guy making the bowls is so kind and cool. Portions are great and delicious! They have TONS of sauces, proteins, veggies. Payed $15 for a small bowl and it was BIG, good enough for me and my husband. I’ll definitely will be back!

It was my first time eating here. The staff member who served us was very friendly and helpful. The portions provided were really good for the price. It is definitely a restaurant that we will visit again. It is a great place for poke. The worst thing is the tight parking in that section of the strip mall.

Changing my previous review on this place. It used to have a B health code rating but it went back to an A so I decided to go back. Everything is over priced and the quality does not match the cost. $13 for a small size (only two scoops of fish) and $17 for a large (four scoops). At these prices you should just go to a sushi restaurant. The ramen bowls aren't cheap either, and neither are the drinks. Drinks are $6 for small and $8 for large and adding boba is $1. When I went they were out of boba. On top of it all, they're understaffed, which is just a poor management problem. The only positive thing I have to say is that the single employee that was working there was delightful and charming, despite the poor quality of the establishment.

I am editing my review and adding a ‘star’ because we returned today after discovering our ‘usual’ poke restaurant had closed down - even though we said we’d never return here I’m glad we did. We got helped out by ‘julianna’ she was very friendly & sweet.

Only complaint is that they have a ‘B’ health rating on the window given to them on April 29 2021 for major and minor violations.

Yummy food & polite service but I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.

The service is SLOW. There was only a couple in front of us and it took ages before it was our turn. They even have a sign for door dashers on how to cancel there orders since the wait can be very long.

The poke bowls were yummy and filling.
One of the boba drinks we ordered- strawberry milk tea- had a strange aftertaste that tasted like dirt so we weren’t able to finish it.

We ordered two medium poke bowls and two regular drinks - it came out to $38.52 before tip.

They are open for take out only.

Also their soda machines is down.

Don't expect anybody to answer the phone if you order something online via Doordash. The food is way too overpriced.
I called literally six times in a row letting it ring all the way to voicemail. I understand they're understaffed but that's pretty ridiculous...
They turned off the special instruction option for Doordash so I wanted to talk to somebody at the restaurant to make sure that the bowl wasn't mixed up and the sauce was on the side.
Luckily I was able to get a hold of my Doordash driver in time to ask her to ensure the order was properly assembled.

My favorite poke place. I live in Japan and when visiting for two weeks, this was in my top five things of I wanted to do while here. Did not disappoint. The staff is always nice and helpful. I love the variety of toppings, the amount they put in the bowls, the quality of the fish, and I think the price is pretty good considering one bowl is typically two meals if you get a lot of toppings. I always get a small customizable poke bowl with salmon and garlic shrimp. And the miso garlic, spicy mayo, and cilantro twist are all good sauces.

Horrible service, stock and prices!!!
This place looks great in the photos but the service and prices suck! The lady was on her phone when we walked in, I asked for a moment to read the menu because it was our first time and she went right back to her phone. I had to call her 3 times to get her attention when we were ready. While we were ordering they were out of everything we had chosen I finally got fed up and asked what exactly do you have in stock?! The young lady gave me a strange look and I told her we were going to go elsewhere. They charge almost $20 for a bowl of ramen and they were out of almost every product they say they serve including the broth. It’s insane to charge what they do when they can’t deliver the product.
I will not be returning EVER!

I’ve been to a few poke places and my favorite one was kaizen next to shakeys but they either closed or changed the name but it was affordable in my opinion, honey fish is very expensive and have very limited options for toppings and veggies .. for the prices to be so high I’m wondering why don’t they have any options to choose from they don’t even have dried seaweed toppings

If you're looking for a light bite, this place is the spot. I have not tried the Ramen, but the poke salad is very good. It's a build a plate kind of place. Where the server puts together your plate with the items you choose(like subway, pieology, etc..). The fish is fresh and the portions are perfect to satisfy that hunger.

The food is good, but they have made mistakes on my order multiple times. Like forget to add the protein side (popcorn chicken) and when I go back to request the missing dish the employee gives attitude and eye rolling.

I arrived to a very small area with 3 tables (granted, the tables had excellent designs with a find-it game). As we walked up to the counter to order, the staff lady was polite and all. We tried to order a ramen bowl, and almost every ingredient we wanted was, "Sorry, we're out of that." They were even out of bottled drinks that we wanted. Eventually, it took so long to order that her computer logged her out, and she had to restart our entire order. After we ordered, I was told by a person from the back, "We're out of the eggs. Do you want a refund for those?" The bathroom was dirty, the soap dispenser didn't work, and the towel dispenser didn't work. The ramen and boba was unbelievably expensive -- for 3 people, our total was around $80.
After our food came out, we started eating but were never given any utensils until we asked for them. One of the chopsticks was broken that we were given. Then the food was very bland. The noodles seemed rubbery, the carrots were super crunchy, and I left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. The watermelon-strawberry smoothy was way too sweet -- tasted like a Jolly Rancher. The strawberry boba was so sour we couldn't drink it.
Overall, I'd never go back. Way too expensive, way too awful of an experience, and the food was definitely not worth it.

This place used to be great a year or so ago. Its completely gone down hill. The place was filthy inside, and as well as the food area. And as far as the food the fish definitely had been sitting out a while. Didnt taste fresh and was dried out. The prices have gone up so much also and quality way down. Hopefully, I won't get sick. Never coming back.

Stay far away. Staff seem like zombies and have very poor customer service skills. What fish they did have out ready to serve either looked dry or slimy.

When the food is edible it's only ok and it's way overpriced for the amount you get.

Really delicious food at a decent price. I have had ramen down the hill for 3 times the price for half the quality of this place. I'm happy there is finally a decent ramen shop in Apple Valley. The owner and staff are prompt and courteous. For anyone complaining of price increase, yeah my grocery price has gone up too. It's only logical for a restaurant to raise prices with inflation.

Honestly, this place is so bad that it baffles the imagination. The ramen was $17 which seems ridiculous, but I thought maybe it’s really high quality. It isn’t high quality at all the chicken was rubbery like canned chicken. The noodles were like top ramen. I was expecting fresh noodles for that price. The broth tastes like dish water. It was so extremely bad!

Poke is great… the rice has a great flavor and their sauces are fantastic. I give it two stars because it seems that they increase the price every couple of months: $20 for a large bowl now. 70% of the bowl is rice (thankfully we are rice lovers) and the scoops seem to be shrinking! The girl working tonight on cleaning and closing was completely rude. Chairs were up at 7:10, we asked what time they close, the girl serving us told us at 8:00 after we asked. We were just going to take our food with us but the same girl asked us if we wanted to eat there, we said “can we?” She said yes just put the chairs down. So we were done eating at 7:45 and the girl cleaning stopped us from leaving (like actually called us) to tell us “we close at 8 and our boss doesn’t let us stay one minute after because he doesn’t want to pay us so if you see the chairs up you can’t sit down”… I said, we asked and your coworker said yes, she replied “well, she was wrong!” I just said again, well, we asked!… I should have said “complain to your coworker or your boss, but don’t go out of your way to stop a happy client who somehow might help keep the business running so you can have a job and that actually left 15 minutes before your deadline, wiped the table and threw the trash away!!”
What is happening to good customer service??!! And no wonder I see more and more bad reviews… maybe the prices are going up because they make less and less money… at this rate they might just go out of business… the goal should be to keep customers happy so they keep coming… just saying! I don’t think l will be going back… in the end it’s not the only poke place!

I rarely leave reviews, but this places food was awesome. My poke bowl was so flavorful, fresh, and it didn't look like they just slopped a ton of ingredients together and dump sauce over the top. I ordered through doordash, so the store was unable to tell me they were out of avocado which I ordered ($1.25 extra) however they sent me a note in my bag, that said they were out, and they apologize. They also sent me my $1.25 back in the bag as well. Amazing customer service, especially when dealing with a door dash order. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

The salmon and spicy tuna tastes very fishy and off. The toppings and sauces are good but what does that matter if the fish tastes like it was grabbed out of a trash can after a day or two. The ordering is pretty simple and straight forward. We went a little bit towards the night so I don't know how fresh everything was. We took our food to go but the atmosphere of the place was a bit dreary. The food however was pretty good. I would go again and order to go. The small portion was still a good sized portion and definitely shareable depending on all the ingredients you add.

The noodles in the ramen were way too firm tasted like it wasn't cooked properly and kept saying they were out of this and that. The seaweed tasted off as well. Overall a bad experience besides the drinks being decent but didn't taste "healthy" at all as they claim. Sen shin gumi is the way to go sadly it's so far away

I went they're with high hopes, Sadly was disappointed. The price for a bowl of ramen was 15.50. I still decided to give it a chance however immediately after ordering they ran out of the hard boiled egg and pork. I waited for my bowl now missing 2 essential ingredients. After waiting I got my bowl and the noodles we're like spaghetti noodles way to thick and not retaining any flavor. The soup was sub par. If you want good ramen go to shin send gumi down the hill 5$ for a bigger bowl much higher quality. I will give them this though their rice and slushies we're good.

The ramen was pretty good. We ordered the chicken broth and it had really good flavor. The pork and the egg were also really good. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because it feels like they nickel and dime you to death. The ramen is already on the pricey side but then they charge an extra $1 just to make it spicy. And it only comes with half an egg. You have to pay extra if you want the other half. Two bowls of ramen was already over $30 without any add ons. I’d probably order here more often if they were a little more reasonable with pricing.

I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a tempura roll that came with no dipping sauce, even when I asked about it and a large Thai tea with boba. Guess I better get my rolls somewhere else. And they are on the expensive end. They didn't know what taro was or where boba comes from either. I had to help the customer in front of me.

This is a review for one of the employees there his name is silver or so he said and I just want to take a moment to give him the credit he deserves! He seemed to be the only one who knew how to do anything there and understand what good customer service is! My brother and I were standing in line and he was getting frustrated because of his dyslexia while reading the menu.. Silver took him by the shoulders made deep, sincere eye contact with him. Within seconds his dyslexia was cured and our crops were thriving. We aren't even farmers! Way to go silver this man deserves a raise!

If you haven't actually went out to try eating ramen from different establishments before, you are missing out because this place is not it. Haven't tried the poke bowls, I can only judge their ramen. I recommend go somewhere down the hill to eat really bomb ramen.

Absolutely disgusted. If I could give no stars I would. We aren’t from here but we craved poke so this was the closest we could get and had some high hopes. They ran out of salmon and tuna when we went which is fine, not a big deal to me until they said toppings were out. Got a poke bowl and I’ve never been so disgusted. I might have high standards but I couldn’t even break apart the rice and the bottom of it looked borderline burnt or just dirty. The boba just tasted nasty, we got taro milk tea and the lychee tea. The boba itself was fine, the juice, bitter when it really shouldn’t have been. The ramen was maybe the best and it wasn’t even good. It definitely wasn’t worth $60 total. But out of the food disappointing, the staff was so rude and inattentive. The girl that took her order was impatient, had an attitude, and when someone came in to pick up a to go order, they looked like they had no idea what this person was talking about. I never leave reviews but it was so bad that I had to.

I usually love this place by today I am super disappointed. I drove up to find that there was sign on the door that simply said.. short staffed and no ramen.. that was no big deal I wasn’t particularly concerned. Once I went for the door it was locked, but I saw people inside so I was confused. I tried to call but the answer machine was very full. The staff was inside working but never once looked at the door or acknowledged us😡

Last time I went here, I didn't notice they had a B until after I had already purchased food and drinks. The food was okay, but I didn't want to go back to a place with a B.

Recently noticed they had an A, and decided to give them another visit. They still probably deserve the B. We only bought drinks this time because the fish they had out had obviously been sitting out for a long time and looked dried up and crusty. They had a chalkboard sign that said "out of some items", and it turns out that means "out of boba", so we stood in line for a really long time(there was only 1 other person in line, but we were still standing there for like 20 minutes before we got to order) only to find out there was no boba, which was the main reason we went. The sign should really specify which items they're out of instead of just saying "out of some stuff" basically. They're obviously super understaffed and understocked and don't care about either of those issues. The drinks we got aren't good either, and I'm considering calling to ask for a refund.

Where do I even begin to start. It’s really a shame because this place has such amazing potential, the poke bowls are amazing, but the customer service at this place could not be worse. I have had about 5 encounters with them and none of them were good. Tonight was the last straw with this place. I placed an order online and it was a 48 minute wait. I called 20 minutes after I placed the order just to make sure because like I said, I’ve never had a good experience. They did not answer the phone and the vm was full ( I called 3 times). I show up an hour after I ordered. Not one person is in the place and I see no workers. 2 girls come out of the back and I tell them the name on the order and what do you know, it’s not made. I see 3 tickets sitting on the register. They quickly make my order as another man walks in and sure enough They do not have his order ready either. These girls were doing absolutely nothing and the place was empty. I’m officially done with this place and not be going back. Oh, I also ordered wontons and they had them sitting out on the counter for god knows how long and they were cold.

I decided to try this place finally. The service was okay, I was overcharged for my veggie ramen and the guy said it's because of taxes, didn't make any sense! I asked to have chicken in my ramen to make up for the extra cost. The ramen is just okay and I didn't like my spicy California roll unfortunately. I don't think I will be back unless I only want boba.

Overall, the experience was only ok. Probably some of the worst ramen I’ve had in a while. Someone said it a couple months ago in the reviews, but if you’ve ventured out and tried other ramen shops, this is not it. Do not recommend. The broth was good but cold and my n noodles was not cooked and hard. I gave it back and all they did was add hot water wich killed the broth. I don't recommend to eat there.

Went and got there an hr before they close only for them to not ring up my kids order. Waited 40 mins which was okay with me. Only to find out she didn’t ring it because of the new system. I kindly told them I was okay with paying for what they didn’t ring up and they kept saying it was okay that they would make it. Only for them to tell me that their kitchen was closed (which we already knew) and it would take an hr to open it. So if I wanted to order what I originally ordered. This was your mistake not mine. Or you should of told me you wouldn’t make it from the beginning instead of making me stick around and telling me you would. Also she acknowledged that she put in our order in but her system somehow didn’t show it. Never coming back here.

Food is delicious and the place is clean. Friendly staff but the wait time to get an order of Ramen was quiet long. Other than that every was good. Recommend it. Only issue I have is the fact that the Ramen are only available till 7 or some times earlier than that. They don't make it clear that all their menu is available all the time!!

Only came here once and won’t be coming back. The food wasn’t bad but the customer service was terrible. The cashier didn’t even greet us or say anything at all when it was our turn to order. I had some questions about the menu and when I asked her, she just responded with “I don’t know.” Didn’t even bother to ask a coworker for help. Also when we were ordering, it’s as if she wasn’t paying attention to us. She kept turning her head to look outside the windows.

Food is delish! My husband and I made it a bi-weekly date :) We been eating there for the past year every Thursday or Friday. However customer service is not the greatest, back on Thursday November 18th we got double charged for our meal :/ I have reached out via email, phone calls and in person. The young lady that I talked to in person was not able to help me but she advised that she would reach out to the owner, I gave her my phone number and as of yet haven't heard back. With that being said, we will not be returning.

Horrible services and horrible drinks. The guy taking the order was rude, impatient and made the milk teas I ordered horrible. The drinks were very watered down, stuffed with ice and not even filled to the rim with tea. The place was empty when I walked in and I can clearly now see why it was so empty. Highly recommend you avoid this location if you want to pay for bad service and bad drinks/food.

Ordered an hour ahead of time and they never printed up my order. Was supposed to be ready at 5:04, at 5:20 they figured out what happened at that point I was running to late and cancelled the order. No apology or offer to compensate, worst THEY KEPT my money! No food out 47$ worse than poor customer service, I understand they get busy but there seems no point in ordering ahead... You might just get robbed.

Somehow I missed this place's opening. I didn't know what Poke was but I'm a curious dude so I came in to check it out. Wow! If you like sushi you will love this place. The food is very healthy and delicious. Service was wonderful and kind. It's important to note many places are short staffed so we all need to be patient. Anyhow I've been back sense and plan to continue as long they'll have me. Such a wonderful find.

I love the Poke bowls here! You can put pretty much anything on it. It delicious. And the prices are right! Staff is friendly too! Definitely worth it, and if you've never had Poke, you won't go wrong here.

They have a variety of drinks, tea, smoothies, and fruit drinks. The Boba is really good and fresh. The ramen and pokey bowls are to die for. Also with a large selection of toppings and sauces. 10 out 10.

Meh, the Ramen was good and so was the service. However a bit pricey since I could make the same meal for two.
The portions and options are on point, just the toppings seemed weak...
Like, 1/4 square for Nori(seeweed) half an egg and only 3 Naruto(fish cake)
Blasphemy!
Them toppings are inexpensive!
Shittake shrooms, was a tasty option though, ehem.
In the end, a novelty, especially in the High desert.

I always used to get sick after eating here so I stopped going for a few months. Recently I went back because I was craving some poke and noticed the B on the door after I had already checked out. I’ve been sick for a week and my stomach is just now starting to feel better. It makes me wonder how long they’ve been serving unsanitary and inedible poke. Gross.

I went in there the other day and noticed the B in the window. Walked in and the smell was horrendous. Smelt like a fish tank. No one was behind the counter but I could hear the employees talking in the back. Was trying to give the place a shot because I had heard some good reviews but this place was nothing like they said. I was standing alone in the restaurant for over 5 mins and no one ever came out. Sucks that this is the only poke place in town.

Poke me EXPERIENCE!!! Fun way to eat sushi grade fish...fresh ingredients in a bowl or burrito. So many make-it-your-way options. I had spicy tuna and salmon cubes with ginger, seaweed salad and creamy crab, all topped with onion crunch and ponzu sauce wrapped in Japanese sticky rice & seaweed wrap. You won't walk away hungry. Even their smallest bowl can feed two. Try one of their refreshing drinks! fruit tea or milk based; with or without boba. The lychee tea was the best I've ever had. An aromatic hint of jasmine after every sip. Delicious experience!!

I am editing my review and adding a ‘star’ because we returned today after discovering our ‘usual’ poke restaurant had closed down - even though we said we’d never return here I’m glad we did. We got helped out by ‘julianna’ she was very friendly & sweet.

Only complaint is that they have a ‘B’ health rating on the window given to them on April 29 2021 for major and minor violations.

Yummy food & polite service but I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.

The service is SLOW. There was only a couple in front of us and it took ages before it was our turn. They even have a sign for door dashers on how to cancel there orders since the wait can be very long.

The poke bowls were yummy and filling.
One of the boba drinks we ordered- strawberry milk tea- had a strange aftertaste that tasted like dirt so we weren’t able to finish it.

We ordered two medium poke bowls and two regular drinks - it came out to $38.52 before tip.

They are open for take out only.

Also their soda machines is down.

One person was working - there was a person being served in front of me, when we pulled into the complex there was no customers on there - so I dont think it warrants hiring another employee.
All the Sushi fish was AWESOME! It was fresh and great tasting, Hands down the best Poke I know, well High Desert San Bernardino area. This place is DELICIOUS!

People are sleeping on this place! Went here for the first time with my wife. Everything was clean and the employees were fun and friendly. I wasn't expecting the food to be as great as it was. Been searching for a good ramen place for quite some time and had no idea this gem was waiting here. Delicious ramen, delicious egg rolls, delicious cream cheese wantons!!! Already thinking about going back.

This place has potential but man the owner needs to care alittle more about his business. The rice cookers are beyond filthy and in plain sight of the customers. They need to learn to clean as they go. Its messy and everything is always under stocked. Dine in tables were all dirty. The food was good but I paid $60 for 4 bowls with small scoops of fish not worth it. I gave this place a second chance but today is the last time I'll be going there.

The food is pretty good BUT their management is terrible. The employees working take their sweet time lounging and socializing while having customers wait up to 20 min in line. So sad to see a place with good food but bad management loose business.

The food here is to DIE for. The albacore was amazing personally. The boba milk teas are also great, and there is no dairy at all. But it certainly tastes like it lol. The staff knew their product very well and all of it is shipped from over seas!

Really unfortunate because the food is good, but the owner has no idea what he's doing. It takes forever to receive food when I'm personally dining in and when I'm picking up through Door Dash. They are always understaffed and instead of hiring more employees, the owner hung a sign saying how it will take forever. I had two Door Dash orders that were 25mins late and when working on my second order, the owner stopped and started working on a girl that came way after me. The owner legit stopped my order just because an attractive girl came in. Also heard the owner talk down to his employee to appear like it wasn't his fault that he was giving a guest's food super delayed. Complete joke and sucks because the employees are genuinely very nice.

placed an online order for two drinks and the wait was about an hour. Got my first drink and they forgot to put boba in my drink and I went back and they told me they were all out. First I'd like to say the staff was very inviting it was my first time, and who I'm assuming was the owner had no problem answering all my questions and offering suggestions. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. He offered to give me samples and every one was better then last. The price point for the place is great and the choices and quality is great. The only problem you'll run into here is wanting to have it all.
