Go Sushi

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to. Our waiter “JAY” was funny sweet and so on top of things. The food was AMAZING. Only thing I didn’t enjoy much was the sauce that came with the pot stickers. Other than that wow. Amazing. Price was decent for the quality of items. Going back over and over again. LOVE. Spicy salmon roll is a must.

An unexpected find in every sense! Who goes to Flagstaff for sushi and Thai? For that matter, who expects either to be *good* in a place so far removed from the coast?

Weirdos like us, apparently.😅

We passed through town on a Saturday night, then returned the following Friday on the last day of our trip through the area, making a point to visit Go Sushi one last time. Their signature Thai dish, roast duck curry, was ordered on both occasions. We also loved the ginger chicken and one other dish which name I can't remember, pictured below. but it was all exceptional Thai -- and this is coming from people who have access to a good range of Thai options in our home counties in SoCal. We really wanted sushi as well, but there is only so much to be had in one meal!

There is no question that Go Sushi will be the choice dining destination on a future trip to Flagstaff. We may even get to the sushi one day 😉 Brilliantly done!

Service was exceptional! The food was very good, but it wasn't the best I have had. The restroom was decent. On a Saturday night, it wasn't too busy, and parking was easy access. It was my friend's 48th birthday and they did a quick music and clapping song with a piece of cake, it was very nice!

Always delicious, one of the best sushi spots in town IMHO, but they know it, and have been steadily adjusting their prices accordingly.

Expect a delicious meal, great service, and generous portions, but maybe look elsewhere if you're on a budget.

The waiter was less than okay with being at work. You were asked your drinks and food but never checked on. Whatever you do don't order the Pad Thai. That was the grossest Pad Thai I've ever had in my life. The staff will also not switch out the meals and you will have to pay double. The only good thing about the place is the interior decoration

Eaten here more than a dozen times with the same animal. Asked for proof of service dog and made up certificates that don’t exist in Arizona. Additionally there was not a single person other than us in the place. When we asked for the owners name they refused it. Major ADA and HIPPA violation. Stay well away till they fix there issues. It’s sad because the food is great.

Friday night, schools in session. Came to check it out sat alone at sushi bar but place is full otherwise, every table going. I was nervous but they got me seated and served in a timely manner. I was at the bar so I asked what’s fresh, they said hamachi and they weren’t lying! I ordered a full spread of nigiri. Nice sauce on the hamachi toro and the amaebi came with the shrimp head deep fried as expected. If I have to pick between go sushi and Teppan Fuji I am probably going with Go. Karma and lotus lounge remain rare visits because I am cheap and won’t pay for parking.

I hated my drink. I ordered a blue Hawaiian and it was milk biased. I’ve been a waitress/bartender for 10+ years. I hate to send things back. But, I have people sending things back every once in a while. It’s understandable that sometimes people don’t enjoy certain things. The waitress here flat out refuses to take the drink off my tab or replace it with something else. I had to ask her co worker to get me something else. I’ve never been so disappointed by someone in the service industry before in my life.she kept telling me she couldn’t replace it because the one I received was perfect?

I used to like this spot. Today I ordered spicy level 5 thai dish and the waiter said, "are you sure... they are Thai" and so I changed to 4 and it had no spice at all. It was a zero. Seriously depressing experience.

We were pleasantly surprised to get excellent Ramen here. It was spicy and flavorful. We ordered the dragonslayer and the fried pork ramen. Both were generous portions and made very well. Service is quick and friendly.

Bad service. We spent $85 for 2 adults before tip on lunch and the waitress yelled at us that a 2 years spilled a few items on the floor. She actually followed us to the car to do that. The service was bad before that too, did not bring chop sticks, had to ask for plates.

I got the Pho and it was the nastiest thing I ever eaten, was stuck on the toilet for hours. The broth was nasty, the noodles were not good and the meat was mushy and did not taste right. Did not recieve any refills, my partner also got the ramen and she said it was a disappointment. BEWARE!!!

The most authentic asian dining experience in Flagstaff! There are tastes of Hawaii, Japan, Thailand, Korea, and Vietnam. We ordered a variety of items off of the menu, and all were delicious!

I rarely write reviews but we had a great take out experience. The person answering the phone was pleasant and got the order correct. Prepared on time. The main reason for the 5 stars - we had ten items, each one very good to excellent including sushi rolls, thai dishes, soup and an appetizer.

This place is a hidden gem off Milton Road in a strip mall next to McDonalds. Driven past it many times and never knew it was there until a work colleague told me about it. Don’t let the name fool you, they are a lot more than just Sushi. They have a huge menu to meet just about any need. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp and it was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is kind of funky and the service was fast. Definitely will be back and it’s worth the energy to find this place.

I love Sushi but it has definitely become a trend of being too expensive these days. They have a large variety of combos. I've tried a lot of them excluding octopus. And they are always sooo good! I would recommend Go Sushi than Karma! Their noodles are absolutely delicious as well!

I ordered a grub hub beef Pho order from this restaurant and was beyond disappointed. Not only does the meat look fake, the broth is disgusting, the noodles taste cheap. I eat Pho often and have gone to many different spots within Arizona and other states and this was one was by far the worst I have had. Will not be ordering here again.

Absolutely love this restaurant, it is now our occasion for our date nights, sometime lunch. Sushi is way delicious. For the some reason with the servers, they delayed of time to deliver our meal, didn't make it on time to greeting to customers, and they need improving their approach with customers, and greetings. They should hire the host/busser to clean each tables. The Executive Chef and their cooks are excellent! Sushi rolls big than bite sizes. :) we will come back next time!

Go Sushi is my go to on my trips to Flagstaff. They have a huge menu, although there are setbacks to that. Some options are unavailable every time. Regardless, I honestly recommend this place over Karma Grill. I highly recommend the Takoyaki and the Dragon Roll as a start! Their Spider Roll is excellent as well. The best part is you get a lot for the cost.

We were looking for a ramen spot in flagstaff and got some recommendations from locals and they recommended this place. I thought it was absolutely delicious! The ramen I ordered was extremely spicy which made it difficult for me to finish but I honestly liked it maybe less spicy next time or I’ll order a different ramen. My partner ordered a katsu one and it was spot on with the flavor (he added some of my broth to his to make it spicier, but ordered siracha on the side if you want a bit of spice.) The sushi was also really good. If we’re around flagstaff again we are definitely stopping by.

The food was delicious! It's a bit pricey but worth it. The service was ok. Their furniture is falling apart. Their light fixtures are hanging really low and are very poky since they are made of some type of bambo stick ornament.... yup, you guessed it, I poked my head pretty hard when I got up from my table.... and they didnt even seem to care. Some customers came in and while they were getting seated, one customer lady also ran into the fixture! Again, they didn't even seem to care... not sure what's with that....

Would have been 5 stars, but they’re a little understaffed for the amount of business they had tonight. Waitstaff literally ran from table to table. I was amazed to even get seated. The sushi was twice the size of most, and huge compared to some. Fresh, soft, wonderful! I also had the Go Sushi noodles with pork—at 2/4 spiciness, it was plenty spicy. If in doubt, go down a notch until you know what you really like. I will absolutely be back!

I have gone there I think about 10 times so far and each time I go I get the demon slay inferno and man is it spicy! I add extra chili’s to it and I tear up so much but it is so good. The eggs that are in it are perfectly boiled. Steak is juicy and the noodles are heaven. I have also tried some of their sushi and I am not a big fan of sushi but theirs is really good. I’m basic so I got a California roll and I have also dried some other spicy roll that my fiancé gets. Their pad tai is also not bad i would give it a three but I don’t eat it often. Great atmosphere and people as well love it!

Lucky we got in early between lunch and dinner. The menu was impressive with the Thai food. There were so many different things to try we would have to come back many times. The Ultimate dragon roll 🥐 was delicious, large, and was presented great. Severs were great. What was impressive was all the staff was eager to make a good impression and we only stopped in for a taste. I fully recommend. Low side cost is $20/person.

Love the sushi, sashimi, and udon!! Lots of food for the price. Delicious and highly recommend!! Pictured is the squid, tako, and tabiko sashimi. Khatsu udon and I think the troublemaker and 1 other unknown sushi roll. Don't forget to tip the awesome sushi chefs! Awesome customer service!

We have been eating here for years now and love the food but sadly recently the staff has become absolutely horrible. Especially when doing take out orders. The black gentleman who is also a server was amazingly rude and unprofessional which blows my mind as we have been sit down customers of his countless times. He needs some education on manners.
Edit: I see the sever gets his instruction from the owner who is also rude and offensive. How about you do something about it and not be defensive and argumentative.

A little gem of a restaurant in flagstaff. This was the first restaurant we tried when we first moved here, and has remained a favorite of ours. Excellent service, cute restaurant and the sushi is always good.

Go Sushi serves all of the things!! Such a wide variety of Asian food it's really hard to pick just one thing when you're as hungry as we were. Everything from the sushi to ramen to pho was excellent and tasted great. The service was somewhat slow but our server was really nice when we saw him. Count on us to be repeat customers when we're in town visiting our LJ!

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is amazing. We weren't sure when we walked up to the restaurant. However when you sit down, the service here is amazing and the people are very friendly. Tables were a little worn but that was fine. Decor was amazing and we were quickly greeted with drinks. We tried an assortment of food. Tom yum soup, Sashimi platter, pad thai, panang curry, and Hamachi skewer. It was amazing! The flavors were rich. Definitely coming back again!

A great date spot, it has a classy and beautiful atmosphere. It can be easy to run up a high ticket but when once we foundd our favorite roll and dish it's been a hard place to beat. Servers try their best to be attentive and professional and it shows!

I love the aesthetic here! Sushi was good as well, if a bit pricey. Service was alright and fairly prompt. The sign on the door said they were a bit short staffed, which seemed to affect the wait staff the most. All in all, a decent experience.

Took my family of 6 there tonight based on some good reviews I read. As soon as we walked in we commented on the strange smell. We got to our table and the floor was very sticky all around the table, which was a little strange. As soon as I opened the menu I was shocked at the prices - this was easily the most expensive sushi restaurant I've ever been to, and I travel all over the world and have been to many sushi restaurants in expensive cites. We ordered and each of our entries was brought out separately at different times, with one of my daughters meal (a dragon roll) not arriving until everyone else was finished despite me asking our waiter about it and him promising that it was almost ready. One of my daughters and I both ordered a salmon roll and tuna roll and it was very disappointing -very small and not alot of flavor. My wife ordered a crunch roll and it was very sweet tasting, she couldn't finish it. When the check arrived they had added a 22% tip. I know that it is customary to add a tip for larger parties, but 22%?? Where did that come from?? Especially since the food and service and atmosphere was not good. I didn't mention the load music playing the entire time. Sorry, but I can't recommend! There's got to be better choices around!

I brought my daughter here to celebrate her first day back in school. Not sure how after so many years the floor is still sticky. My server misheard my order and brought me the wrong item. I cleared up the mistake but was spoken to by three different people including the chef asking if I made the mistake. After all was said and done we were charged gratuity for a party of 5, 3 of them were children which did not make a mess on the table. Bbq Duck Noodle was very bland. I'm disappointed how fast this restaurant went downhill.

Finally! We found a really great sushi place in Flagstaff. The prices are reasonable for the area and the portions are good. Plenty of seating inside and there are all sorts of options on the menu from ramen to Thai to sushi and izakaya.

This place has definitely gotten better over time. I can’t say that about many places in Flagstaff especially sushi restaurants here. The have late night yakitori that is absolutely incredible. It’s a new and refreshing concept to Flagstaff. Food is good and prices are fairly reasonable. Owner is really nice and so are the staff.

Wanted to enjoy a night dinner with my partner. Our server took 15 mins to get to us. Took our order then gave us our appetizers. All of a sudden he gave us our check and said have a good evening while running to the bathroom. We didn't even get our dinner or refills.

The music was great 5/5 ⭐️ . If you, like me, are a chavó-ruco who likes to party but has an 8:30pm bedtime, come enjoy the 90s-00 party atmosphere. The service was 1/5 ⭐️, the food was adequate but overpriced compared to places that make the same items way tastier. Today was the 3rd time we have tried this place since it opened, and todays food was probably the best we’ve ever had here at a 3/5 ⭐️. If you want sushi, go around the block to Hero’s or Sakura. If you want Thai, go down the street to Little Thai Kitchen, Swadie, or Pato. The parking lot is congested and the only reason I was able to get parking is because I have a handicap and pass. In all honesty, I’ll probably be back for the music and a drink; it felt like I was in a bar and young again. But I’ll make sure to eat beforehand.

Went in because they had a sign for Bangkok street food and nobody on the phone could give me the menu for this??? Then inside I saw no menu for such things….

I have mixed feelings about Go Sushi. I've been there multiple times and here's the thing: their sushi rolls are good! Especially the Titanic roll... Super tasty. But their service is sooo slow. It's hard to even get someone to come to your table. But when they do, they're very nice. I think some of their menu items are over priced. $6 for a Thai coffee, $4 for small bowl of miso soup, etc. As long as you're not in a rush and price isn't a concern, then Go Sushi is fine.

Wife and I stopped by here because she wanted sushi (I didnt care for it) and the food was amazing. Both the dragon roll and dynamite rolls were some of the best we've ever had. Service was also excellent. We will definitely be coming back here whenever we are in town.

Worst place. Waitress forgot about us. Only hot half our order. One person in the party didn't eat because her food never arrived. Took longer to check out after we wanted to leave. They made us wait some more. Food had gone down hill. Not what I remember it.

I've tried this place a couple of times, hoping that at least once I'll enjoy the experience if i try something different each time. 3 times have all been just bad. Each time they have forgotten at least one item I ordered. They for some reason put random fish eggs on their Nigeria and sashimi that have no taste but ruin the texture. Their cucumber sunomono was a sliced up warm cucumber over ice with a drizzle of dressing. I watched my food sit in The window for over 10 minutes this time before anyone picked it up to bring it over to the table. The only positive I can give them is their fish is good quality. I gave it a shot, 3 strikes and I won't be returning.

Service from our server was not good. She blew it.
Luckily the busser and the manager were around to save our night.
Food was okay but not great.
If I ever go back, I'll make sure I'll get a different server.

Love go sushi. I have had three of the waiters and waitress over and over and they're great . Food so good . So pretty inside. Had a good birthday there too. Please bring the kpop back lol

I’ve eaten here once before and loved it, but this time we did takeout & it was still great. We ordered veggie tempura & 3 specialty rolls & everything was super. We especially loved the Green Dragon (?) roll. We ordered ahead for takeout and it took them more than 40 minutes, but otherwise no complaints.

Best sushi in town!!! Their portions are great and they have other varieties that are creative and really good!!!! My favorite is the Titanic. I like how it is served on a boat plate. The place is a little bit hidden, and looks sketchy, but you won't regret it, is better if you dine in instead of take out.q

First five starts!!! Now let me explain. We were traveling from California to Albuquerque and got a flat tire. We go towed to discount tires and stumbled upon this place via a Google search.

After entering and ordering we noticed that more and more people kept coming in. We ordered 5 rolls and the crab fried rice spice level 3. Everything was incredible and we are sushi snobs lol we have been spoiled with some of the best sushi from all over the country and this place was fantastic. We will be back!!

The owners put so much care into their menu! Every item is so exciting and flavorful.

I highly recommend everyone comes here!!!!

Seriously awesome sushi spot. I got the Golden California roll (add cream cheese) and it was easily the best sushi roll I’ve ever had. I also got the Gyoza roll which had great flavor though it wasn’t my favorite. Overall, would totally recommend this place!

ate here on my break and it made my day. the menu has a wide variety of foods from sushi to thai food to ramen. im 72 years old and ive tried an abundance of sushi places in my life but never has sushi been this delectable in my time. If you’re looking for good food, then come here!

My fiancé and I tried this place the other day and the sushi was so fresh and flavorful! Delicious! We got full off of one roll, they give you big portions, which we loooooove!

My only issue was that they were out of most of the sake’s, the strawberry soju was amazing though! I always get 2-3 orders of smoked salmon nigiri and they unfortunately only had one order. I wanted to cry because it was sooooo good! The crunchy roll was also delicious, we inhaled it. Our server was super sweet and very helpful.

Overall experience, 8/10 🙏🏻

Essen ist eigentlich lecker, aber man wartet ewig bis es am Tisch serviert wird. Dazu haben wir ewig gewartet bis abgerechnet wird. Also eigentlich gutes Essen, aber schlechter Service

Great tender fish! Great selection of rolls! However the take out is very slow, they promised an order to be ready and it took over 45 minutes past the estimate ready time for it to be ready to go.

A terrible experience!! I hanged out with my friends and we waited for a super long time. They finished all their food but I didn’t get my chirashi bowl. I had to make it to go to catch up our following plan. Then, when I started eating I found there was a thread in the fish slice.

I really wasn't expecting this food to be as excellent as it was. The sushi is very well made (looking at the octopus ball thing) and the serving size is even better. Most sushi places give you a pretty small portion in my opinion. $13 for a 7" plate with skinny rolls?! Nah, for $13 here it looks like a foot long plate with huge rolls

I wish more sushi places were like this!!

Also, clean bathrooms, nice servers and reasonable service times as a bonus ⭐

waited 45 min for 2 rolls with 3 other people inside the restaurant and the rolls were the worst i have ever tasted. the curry was super salty and the capillary was over cooked and a bit on the rancid side. ate two peices of sushi one spoon of curry and one calimari, i’m calling it quits.

Atmosphere is amazing inside the restaurant and was very delicious. Everyone was kind and good price!

Also, the sushi rolls are so big I couldn't fit a single piece inside my mouth all the way. So yummy and filling!

Very nice people running restaurant....But the floors were flithy....not just dirty...It was very dark and dreary in the restaurant...wasn't alot of veggies in my order...I ordered ginger tofo...I didn't even taste any ginger at all...the Chia tea was $6...for half the amt...of drink in cottonwood...I get them for $3,50...way over priced...

The “I love you” roll is amazing. No rice & super flavorful. The kai kua noodles with chicken are also a staple of ours with every visit. It’s always delicious food and a good atmosphere.

They have a kids chicken strip meal with a mound of white rice that’s always a hit with the kiddos.

I rarely write comments, but my roll was sub par. It had a sauce on it that was not indicated on the menu, the roll said there was baked crab but it was the crab salad and there was no scallops on top as indicated. I bought take out so none of this was discovered until I was home. The restaurant floor was sticky. Waste of money.

My friend and I were visiting Flagstaff to cheer up another friend who'd had a rough week. Flagstaff doesn't usually offer much in the realm of Korean cuisine, so we went to Go Sushi in hopes of finding something promising.

At first it was off-putting, because the entrance was on the side and not completely apparent when we pulled up. We were seated and served quickly on arrival, my friends ordered noodle bowls, I ordered the "Sushi Story".

They got their orders first, and as someone who is a social eater, I was a bit nervous when my plate came out less than ten minutes later. However, let me tell you, I was *NOT* expecting to eat the best plate of sushi in my LIFE, once it came. Absolutely worth the small wait!!

I've lived in San Diego, and the fish is incredibly fresh by the coast. Flagstaff is completely landlocked, so I don't know how they did it, but oh my god, I will definitely be coming back.

The food was very good but they have a lot to learn about not rushing you through a dinner. Sushi should NEVER be rushed. I recommend you come well before closing if you want to enjoy your dinner. And I recommend they stop seating people so close to closing.
I had to go to Karma to finish dinner.

My family loves this place. Food is consistently good. They are in a state of remodeling so it will be fun to see how it looks when complete. If there was one opportunity to see improvement it would be to see shorter wait time for take out orders.

Parking is a little tight. Corner restaurant hidden behind the Cajon restaurant, next to McDonald's.
Staff is friendly and welcoming. Good seating. Wide variety of menu. Includes Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Ingredients taste fresh and properly prepared. Good sized portions at reasonable prices.

Great place for the full sushi experience. The prices are at a comfortable mid-level, but with a high level of quality. Adding to the experience is a team of well trained staff, keeping the flow of mealtime in tune with the expectations of fine dining. I would even say, bringing in epicurious youngsters would be appropriate at Sushi Go, as well as fine dining pros. This environment is respectful, yet forgiving.

Did not have a great experience here. We came in and waited for a while at the hostess stand before someone acknowledged us. We never had someone take our drink order. They didn’t bring out all of our rolls, but still tried to charge us for them. To top it off, my fiancé and I both got food poisoning from this place that we are still dealing with 2 days later. Stay away.

What keeps me coming back to this place all the time are the exceptionally friendly staff and really really delicious and huge eel dinner. They remember me and my bf's orders without us having to ask them to. And the one time we had a bad experience last year, the manager came out to personally apologize and comp our food even though I wasn't even going to complain... To me that's the mark of a quality place, so they will continue to get my business.

The prices are also reasonable for the quality, in my opinion. Best sushi place in town without question!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We were waiting for an hour and didn’t even get our drinks yet. Three parties came in AFTER us got their food and drink while we were still waiting for our drinks. The server completely ignored us and was unhelpful to the greatest extent. I would NOT recommend coming here at all. Awful service and way to expensive for a restaurant that awful. Also the bathrooms were atrocious.

Best sushi I've had in Arizona. The baked mussels are amazing. The sushi is beautiful and delicious and the miso soup is perfect. Only complaint is our server was terrible. Once we got our food we never saw him again and had to wave him down to order more and then again for the check and got a sassy attitude for it. Still 5 stars though because good sushi is hard to find in northern AZ.
