Everything OK but really charging $1. For each sauce after spending$ 80. Of sushi what? eat it dry I get it if I ask for more sauce to control people wasting condiments and then salad was good but needed more ingredients for the price especially that I've ordered it in past and way better presentation for poki bowl!! Well I let tip carry that up charging maybe the owner will think about it 🤔

My husband and I absolutely love Sushi Love! It’s seriously the best sushi spot we’ve found in Arizona. The sushi is incredibly fresh, and we can’t get enough of their nigiri combo and the Baja Roll – the Japanese pesto is just phenomenal. The Otoro blue fin tuna with wasabi is another standout; they even serve real fresh wasabi, which is such a rare treat. Don’t miss out on their garlic edamame – it’s amazing!

The owner, Jared, is super hands-on and always present, making sure every guest feels welcome. He’s down to earth and adds to the friendly, inviting atmosphere of the place.

I also appreciate that they offer many flavors of Soju, especially since I’m not a fan of hot saki. Sushi Love is just an awesome spot all around. Highly recommend!

Awesome sushi place in Avondale. Didn’t even know we had a place until my friend suggested it. The food was great, service was even better. We will be back for sure. I got the golden Las Vegas roll and the spicy Hawaiian with the spicy garlic edamame to start.

We loved this place! First and foremost, the sushi tasted terrific. That's the most crucial part. It felt like a "hole in the wall" type of place. It was small but had an intimate setting. It was jam-packed the night we went, and for good reason. We were in town for the beginning of Padres Spring Training. Even after having sushi the night before with some local friends at a more prominent Japanese restaurant, Sushi Love Avondale outshone it in every way. From the delicious food to the friendly and relaxed vibe, it was a great experience to top off a great trip. When we return to the area, I hope the restaurant will still be as popular and delicious. If you're in the area, you must check it out yourself.

Sushi Love!!!! 🤗❤️ We have found our new favorite Sushi and Ramen spot!! I’m very happy you’re so close to home as well. We first started with some Garlic Edamame and a couple of Cherry Blossom Sushi Rolls. Love the amount of Garlic they top the edamame with and the Sushi was so nice and tender. Perfect mouthfeel on the Sushi! The owner definitely uses some high quality fish here! Amazing!!

I had the Spicy Don Katsu Ramen and my family had the regular Don Katsu Ramen and it was phenomenal!! The flavors in your ramen are by far the best I’ve had here in AZ! So bold and so fresh!

Jesus was our server and did an amazing job! I told him that I haven’t had Ramen like this since moving from Long Beach. He mentioned you had a restaurant out in CA as well before moving here to AZ. Thank you and your friendly staff so much for taking care of me and my family. We will see you really soon! 💙

We gave this place a try based on the stellar reviews, however we left completed disappointed and never got our food.

We were seated and given menus and it took the waiter about 15 minutes to come back to take our drink order and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Completely unacceptable as waters and drink orders should have been taken with in a few minutes after guests are seated.

My friend and I ordered a nigiri set and an appetizer and it took again a little over a half hour before we were served the small appetizer and no mention about our main course. Asked the waiter several times regarding our order with the same lame excuse....the chef is still working on it?

It has almost reached an hour and we were with no food and the couple who came 20 mins after us were already served their whole order and eating while we were still waiting.

We were completely disappointed, hungry, and told the waiter to get our check. Then another 10 minutes goes by before the check was given with no apologies and this idiot was still trying to get us to stay and said the chef is still working on our order and it should be anytime now. This clown thinks it's ok for us to wait another 30mins to get our food when it has already been an hour since we were seated.

Called to speak with the owner and a guy by the name of Jared finally came to the phone. I didn't believe Jared was the owner by the way he handled the complaint and was rude and sarcastic. Unfortunately the conversation did not go well as he was trying to speak over me the whole time and giving a lame generic excuse and then hangs up phone. Great job.....keep up the good work buddy! It is very unlikely that this guy was the owner.

If you want to be mistreated and waste your time, this is your restaurant!

Jarrod the manager is absolutely horrid. We came in and even though there were multiple open tables, were told they didn't have room for our party inside so they sat us outside at night in the middle of December. The manager ASSURED us multiple times they would bring a heater and after asking three times there was nothing. It was 51 degrees outside and we were all wearing coats and shivering. We went inside to ask again and this guy yelled at my mother. He was also yelling at his employees and you could tell they were all frightened by him. Literally worst customer service I have ever experienced. First and last time ever eating here.

Just now 11-27-24, stopped in for a quick bite. 1 table and 1 bar too in the restaurant. I went to sit at the bar. Two minutes later a couple other tables fill up, 2/3 guests per table...no biggie. I still have yet to be acknowledged. Waiter walks past me 3 or 4 times ..still nothing. Other tables being taken care of, grubhub being taken care of...me, still nothing at all. 15 minutes passes by, still nothing ...l left with not so much as a goodbye. Very disappointed in customer service. What happened to the staff here ? Sad....

my fiancé and i have coming here for a while now and genuinely really love it almost every time. however, after our last experience we don’t plan on dining in anymore, only take out. the manager was incredibly rude to our waiter, who was doing a good job of taking care of us. the manager was unprofessional, yelling at his employee in front of us and other patrons of the restaurant, as well as making disrespectful remarks while the employee was in the bathroom. the manager then loudly and again, so unprofessionally sent our waiter home halfway through our service. our good night was truly soured and interrupted by the manager’s behavior. super disappointing.

Our visit tonight 11/8/24 Our food was delish! Service was great until it came time to pay, upon receiving our check, we used the QR code on the receipt (mind you our bill was 100.00 not including tip) I paid, we let the bus boy know since our server was occupied. My husband shook hands with Jarrod. While walking to our car we hear a “excuse me” while there are tons of people outside, server yells “did you guys pay” I said excuse me, she said Jarod instuctef her to ask. I was so embarrassed so I walked back in and showed him my qr receipt and I said you could have checked prior to having her run out and yell in front of at least 10 people asking if I paid. I asked Jarrod why wouldn’t you check prior to having her run out. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN TREATED LIKE this.

This was an awesome place for some sushi several months ago. However, a recent midday trip was not the best. Ordered my usual roll that I love, and it was overstuffed and awkward to handle. The salmon had some dark sections in it that I ended up leaving behind because of the taste which would have spoiled the rest of roll. Bigger is NOT better. The previous owner was highly trained at preparing sushi, the current person who made this roll was not IMO. I can understand a restaurant who has recently changed hands having to get up to speed, but I feel that the quality has definitely slipped and needs attention.

Staff Service is adequate, though I did end up with a first day wait staffer with little to no experience. They could use more training or supervision, however they were courteous, which is key to good service.

I'd like to be able to give them a better rating in the future. Cannot recommend them at this time though.

For lunch, we indulged in the Baja Roll, Rainbow Dragon Roll, and Amigo Roll, each a delight in its own unique way. The Baja Roll was refreshingly light, with the vibrant pesto and cilantro beautifully enhancing the delicate flavor of the yellowtail. The Amigo Roll felt like a delicious fusion of a jalapeño popper and an eel roll, creating a playful yet satisfying combination. The Rainbow Dragon Roll, with its spicy mayo and eel sauce, struck the perfect balance between spicy and sweet—a harmony of flavors that danced on the palate. An all-around fantastic experience!

First time going there and the experience was horrible it took over 20 minutes just for a server to get our drink order another 20 minutes to get our drinks I looked over to see where she was and she was taking shots to the sushi chef he turned around and took the shot. She took the shot and went to another table. There’s a time and a place and the work place is not it!

Sushi Love... WOW. Hidden gem! You need to try this place! The yellowtail was absolutely fantastic! Sliced to the perfect length and thickness and as buttery as it gets. This place has the best sushi in the entire Phoenix, amazing chefs, great menu that can please anyone.
However, this time we got very frustrated with the service here…
We waited 10minutes to just ask if they have any available spot for us.
It was pretty occupied but all the outdoor tables were available plus the entire bar was empty. It was just two of us and we wanted to have one quick order and seat at the bar.
The hostess didn’t let us sit at any available spot, saying that the big group will come here shortly and that she will put us on the waitlist and we will have to wait 25mins. We waited for 30-40 mins no call, we came back and they told us to wait another 10.
Maybe they didn’t have enough staff for this amount of people but technically it was only 50% occupied.
Disappointed. Will have to find another place with good sushi now.

I walked in excited but left underwhelmed. The food was tasty, but the presentation and execution fell short. 'The Crazy Roll' was difficult to eat, with toppings falling off and the roll not tightly wrapped. The Dynamite Roll was delicious but had the same issue. The server was friendly, and the atmosphere was initially inviting, though it became uncomfortable after a customer's complaint. I'd still like to return for another try, as I've heard great things and it may have just been an off night."

As a Food/Sushi snob and I know this is AZ I will say this has been the best experience I've had here. The El Toro blew my tastbuds away, you really have to know fish and where to get it fresh to AZ. Both my wife and I were blown away by the amazing service and the incredible food we got, the spicy edamame and squid for appetizers and a few rolls. Can't wait to come back!

I have eaten here 5 times. The food was fresh and delicious. To begin with, I want to say that the food here is definitely not cheap if you're bringing the family. Unfortunately, the service received here was unexceptable for any type of restaurant. I was inside. I was with my daughter stopping in near her volleyball game location. 2 out of 3 times I was seated and forgot about. I wasn't seated outside, as you might think, I was inside. No one even offered us a glass of water for at least 20 minutes. By this time, I watched 6 or 7 other parties come in and be seated. I got up and found a waiter and asked why no one had come to our table. He came to our table and took our order promptly. 30 minutes later, after watching the same 7 tables seated after me all getting there food and we still had an empty table. It was so bad the couple sitting next to us saw how long we had been sitting there while others got their food, and they began complaining to the wait staff about the situation. The crazy part is 3 different servers came to check on them during this time. (If you ever go here you will notice there are only 2 or 3 servers working at a time and a host that floats around the place) The sodas we ordered tasted like a spring aspirin had been dissolved in them. I mentioned this to the server, and they came back and assured me it was something with the sweetener and carbonation mix, but the problem was fixed. Nope, it's the same horrible taste for coke and the sprite. By now we had been seated for just over 50 minutes. Our food never came, tho we were assured by 2 different wait staff that it was coming soon. The customers next to us began to plead with the staff about the disservice they were observing. After an hour and 15 minutes my daughter and I left the restaurant with no food ever coming to our table. After speaking with the employees there was never anything done to try to make the situation right , at all! This review is already too long so I won't try to describe what happened each visit. My daughter and I came back the very next day because we felt like we had heard about the great sushi and wanted to give it another try. Our second visit was a success. I brought my wife the third time everything was fine. I brought my mother the fourth time and everything was fine, no complaints. The only thing I will say is that there is something definitely wrong with their soda fountain machine because every time we have been there the soda tastes like aspirin and we end up just letting it sit or send it back. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. The 5th and final time we went was nothing more than a repeat of the first time we sat for 20 minutes before anyone even approached our table to ask about water. We waited another 40 minutes to get our food. It was so bad my wife wanted to just walk out of the restaurant. We did wait this time for our food to finally come out but we have never been back. And once again there was nothing said or done about this type of customer service except being told sorry and looked at like we were the ones with the problem.

Tonkatsu was not good at all. It should nit have spicy mayo sause. Rice should be regular rice not sushi rice. Where was tonkatsu sauce? I ordered ikura but the waitress forgot. Toro was not fresh. Tako salad was joke. This restaurant used to be great. I heard the owner changed. I can tell now.

Absolutely recommend this place! To start, Jared is by far one of the most enthusiastic, genuine and welcoming host I have encountered in a restaurant, I believe and hope he is the manager, because he was amazing and this business will go far if he is! The staff was friendly as well. I loved everything about this place! It was overall amazing, from the energy to the environment, the music. the decor, the food, the customers and the list goes on! Had golden Vegas Role 8pc. and katsu chicken bowl. My wife had chicken fried rice, and my son had Rainbow dragon roll. Unfortunately, RD roll came out after I had finished eating katsu chicken. I was told Vegas roll would come out before the entree meals but it came out more than 5 minutes after the entree. I'm not sure if the kitchen was backed up but it was disappointing. The food was pretty good, and the service was friendly. For first time visitors they offered complimentary mochi for providing social media review.

The specialty rolls and fresh wasabi were amazing! Very high quality sushi! So many options on the menu! Definitely a great place to get your sushi on!

Atmosphere was ok. We had to compete with the blaring speaker over the hostess stand. Floors were very messy. Tables felt very smooshed together (but totally not a big deal if the floors were clean and the music wasn't so intrusive)

The servers were happy and positive! They were struggling with the POS.

Seems to me they just need to clean up some floor management and this would be an AMAZING place to go to regularly. Id probably sit at the bar if I wanted to go again so I could get in and out of there quicker.

It used to be my family's go-to spot. It was sad to hear the original owner sold it, and now it's under new management. But I still wanted to show support and see if anything new might have changed and, sadly, not for the good. We ordered some spicey tuna hand rolls, and the tuna was not fresh at all and very warm. Tasted like it was sitting out for a long period of time, and the chefs were just using it as they went and not putting it back in the fridge to keep it cold and fresh. I also ordered the slick roll, and it for some reason didn't taste as fresh, and the same thing was just really warm. It's not a baked roll, so idk maybe the new chefs were just rushing and not on point that night. Also, I got a pork katsu bowl, and as much as I liked the dish, the sauce was just not great with it. The pork with the breading and rice would have been way better. Our waitress was great, and I told her how everything turned out and she was nice enough to take off the spicy tuna hand rolls for us. Maybe next time things will be better.

Stopped by this place after trying the new nail salon and I'm so happy I did. I've driven here a few times but never stopped. I ordered take away and was gifted a few items to give them a try. The customer service was amazing. Quick transaction and everything was as it should have been. The space is pretty open with a chefs bar to watch the chef create. There were quite a few patrons on a Saturday afternoon. I was told it would be about 20 mins for my food but it was quicker. I don't know exact time. I have an 8 minute drive home and when I opened the boxes the food was still hot and my sushi was still cold. So a huge plus for me. I can say I've never ordered sushi for take away and this experience has changed my mind. Food was delicious and the spicy garlic edamame was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely will be coming back.

My wife and I decided to try a new sushi restaurant and what a great decision! From the moment we walk in we were greeted by very friendly staff. They sat us down immediately and went over menu options and specials for that evening. The wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. On top of the amazing customer service the food exceeded our expectations. Everything we ordered was absolutely mouth watering DELICIOUS!!! We definitely have found our new favorite sushi spot. Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the Avondale area! I’m glad this place opened up as I hadn’t been able to find a place I live this much in the West Valley since my last favorite sushi restaurant closed many years ago. Great food, and great service. This was our first visit. Friendly owner and staff, food was delicious, soups are big enough to share. We ordered the Arizona Roll, spicy garlic edamame, spicy ramen soup and shrimp tempura roll everything was great!!! Will definitely be returning. Mochi ice cream for dessert😋!!!!

WOW! Best sushi around. I usually have to drive to the east side of town, but not anymore!
This place has a great new ambiance and vibe, but the food is the main attraction. My mouth is watering thinking about it now. I'm so glad I went here because I've been having bad luck with other sushi restaurants lately 😔, they just lack the little things. Not Sushi Love, they take great pride in their restaurant and it shows. I'm definitely going back and I highly recommend you try it!

Just when you think something can't get better... This isn't a fake review, I'm serious... the vibe/customer service is 5 star. The food/sushi (freshness, preparation, taste) takes you to a Hawaiian sunset and plays music to your taste buds. I'm not joking. Ok, I'll come back to reality, just go there and see for yourself. I don't usually recommend things to people because everyone is different, but this place I completely vouch for. Enough said, stop scrolling, start enjoying, tap directions now.

Oh man! We just found our new favorite spot. The ambiance was perfect, the service was hustling and friendly, and the food... muah! was delicious! I'm definitely coming back here, but don't tell your friends, I don't want everyone to find out my new favorite Sushi and Ramen spot.

My husband and I visited Sushi Love for the first time on Thursday for a random date night & we fell in love, the food was amazing & the service was outstanding. Shay gave us the BEST service I’ve had in a VERY long time. 10/10 recommend!!

Today was a different day at Sushi Love. NEW owners. They were photographing food and the atmosphere was super lively. The food was super fresh and huge portion sizes. Unfortunately some of our rolls got lost in the busy day but they ended up goving us a lot of free food from the photos hoot. They 2 new owners seemed super vibrant and nice young guys trying to get the place thriving. The energy and kindness of one of them was super cool to see.

Awesome sushi place in Avondale. Didn’t even know we had a place until my friend suggested it. The food was great, service was even better. We will be back for sure. I got the golden Las Vegas roll and the spicy Hawaiian with the spicy garlic edamame to start.

We waited two hours to be told they were just working on our sushi. When I finally approached our waitress (who I had to get up and walk to) she said they were working on our sushi and we could take it to go. Waitress checked on our table once to see if we needed refills but never once said it was going to be this long of a wait. We left paying full price for our fountain drinks which is even more ridiculous. WORST SERVICE!

To have great sushi, you need fresh fish, and you also need perfectly cooked rice. The latter was not what we got today. The rice was undercooked; still hard. Not the greatest sushi experience.

I went here last Saturday May 18th and let me say it was the best experience. Firstly, I have to say the waiter who we had the pleasure of meeting, Tommy (phenomenal hair btw) I believe was his name, was one of the most attentive, friendly and caring server I’ve ever met. I truly appreciate his kindness and attention to not only us but the other guests in the restaurant. I truly mean it when I say he definitely deserves a bonus and raise! Secondly, the food here is so amazing! The New York Roll is to die for, the ingredients for this roll tasted so fresh and I just can tell the person who made it made it with extra care. Additionally, you must try the spicy ramen they offer here if you like a spice and great broth with meat that just melts in your mouth. I 100% recommend eating here and hope everyone in the area gets the opportunity to experience this absolute gem of a restaurant.

Sushi Love!!!! 🤗❤️ We have found our new favorite Sushi and Ramen spot!! I’m very happy you’re so close to home as well. We first started with some Garlic Edamame and a couple of Cherry Blossom Sushi Rolls. Love the amount of Garlic they top the edamame with and the Sushi was so nice and tender. Perfect mouthfeel on the Sushi! The owner definitely uses some high quality fish here! Amazing!!

I had the Spicy Don Katsu Ramen and my family had the regular Don Katsu Ramen and it was phenomenal!! The flavors in your ramen are by far the best I’ve had here in AZ! So bold and so fresh!

Jesus was our server and did an amazing job! I told him that I haven’t had Ramen like this since moving from Long Beach. He mentioned you had a restaurant out in CA as well before moving here to AZ. Were eating at sushi love and ordered the Toro. They literally pulled out the entire fish out of the box fresh. I've never seen any sushi place do this. He cut the Toro out and we literally ate it directly off the fresh fish. It was so good. I'm impressed with the hospitality and quality here and will be comming back for sure. 100% best sushi I've ever had.

I know sushi is becoming mainstream. Abs have been to a few of these cookiecutter places. I love squid and octopus. And that being said know those are intensive prep item to serve and make tender and delightful. Did have a calamari salad,and knew upon put on the table wash pre-made item that is more breading then product. Was ok but falls short of the price being charged. The rolls looked good,and were e joyed. The baked one was the winner of the two.
It is a nice place and worthy of a try if you want a quick roll.
But I am seeing less and less true to the sushi tradition. Give them a try if your curious...

The sushi was delicious. I got a philly roll and salmon nigiri. It was a good price, the food was fresh, and they were quick. I could tell the people that go here are regulars because they knew the server by name. Keep in mind it’s a small spot, so you have to be patient because if it does get super busy. I’ve had takeout once and it was busier than when I dined in (around 7:30pm) anyway - wonderful experience. Good selection.

The sushi was amazing. The service was kind of meh, though. The waitress didn't keep track of who ordered what, even though we told her separate tickets up front. She also didn't check in very often and brought checks before we were done without asking if we wanted anything else. She was frustrated that we actually wanted dessert and some other stuff. The dessert sat at the order widow for at least 5 minutes before she brought it to the table, and then it was the wrong thing. Then, at the end of the night she had us tell her our orders again so she could ring it, which makes me wonder what was on the checks she originally brought.

We loved this place! First and foremost, the sushi tasted terrific. That's the most crucial part. It felt like a "hole in the wall" type of place. It was small but had an intimate setting. It was jam-packed the night we went, and for good reason. We were in town for the beginning of Padres Spring Training. Even after having sushi the night before with some local friends at a more prominent Japanese restaurant, Sushi Love Avondale outshone it in every way. From the delicious food to the friendly and relaxed vibe, it was a great experience to top off a great trip. When we return to the area, I hope the restaurant will still be as popular and delicious. If you're in the area, you must check it out yourself.

Went exploring to Sushi Love today .... was a little scared to try a new place... normally I drive like 30+ miles to my Go to Places in Chandler.... I was sooo nervous but let me tell you everyone the Service & the Food was AMAZING You definitely feel the LOVE they put into their foodin my personal opinion I was able to see And taste the quality in flavor & presentation of their Food. The Ambiance is cozy, warm and inviting.... Perfect place for family night, Me Night or even a First Date! I Loved it so much! Plenty of Parking too :) .... Happy to say I'll be saving on Gas now that I've discovered Sushi Love Close to Home! Check 'Em' out! Definitely worth a visit. :)

2.24.24: So disappointing for our first-time experience eating here. Waited 25m on the wait list to be sat when we noticed another family who just parked was sat before us. Once i advised waitress that there were still people waiting on the wait list, she apologized and pointed to a table that just came available and told us to sit there even though it wasn't prepared nor clean (didn't walked us over nor given menus)
We waited for another 20m just to get menus, another 15-20m for my family to even place our drinks order (because this whole time we haven't been asked about our beverages) By this time frustrated as hell! We ordered both drinks and food... Let me just say our drinks came out with our daughters entrée, not even our appetizers came out first. We had to bring it up to our waitress and ask where our order was.
So, needless to say, we won't be back anytime soon based on the level of service and attention to their customers.

We came for dinner and it was the worst experience I've had in quite a long time. It took us one hour and forty five minutes to get 3 rolls and an order of sashimi. We ordered a tempura ice cream but they brought a cheesecake. It took so long to get it we just took the L so we could finally leave.

Hands down the best Sushi in the west valley. Coming from LA, it's been a challenge to find good sushi, but Sushi Love knows their stuff! My husband and I love sashimi and Sushi Love's offering did not disappoint. It was super fresh, right temperature, good portion cuts, delicious! We also tried seaweed salad and a spicy tuna salad for appetizers. They were also excellent. Nice wine and beer selection. Our servers, Lilly and Tommy were wonderful, professional, friendly, made us feel very welcomed. This was our first time here, and we told the owner, Richard, we would like the corner table inside named after us because we plan to be regulars, and tell anybody we know who likes sushi they must come here. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

The staff is friendly which was great I liked all my rolls except one it was a spider roll the crab didn't taste good it tasted dirty I also got a drink that tasted HORRIBLE the girl was nice enough to switch my drink but they still charged me for it and it was still filled to the top I'm sure if I told them I didn't like the roll they'd also still charge me that's what I didn't like in my personal opinion.

Great place to eat!! The staff was super helpful and the food was amazing. My wife and I got exactly what we wanted and it was perfect. Smaller place than I had imagined but it was cozy without feeling cramped.

First time in a few weeks ago, everything was splendid. The young male with white hair took care of us. We came back 3 weeks later, our female server charged us for Siracha…. Like really at a Japanese restaurant???
The spicy garlic edamame was no garlic or spice just salt…. so salty my husband and I could not eat it. We didn’t return it though.

By the time his entree came out I was already done with my roll… oh and to top it off I was eating my salad when I choked on a piece of old napkin that was in my salad…. Very gross I don’t even want to think about how that got in there. 😖

Really disappointed because we wanted this to be our new spot. We may or may not be back but if we do, I hope our next experience is better and I’ll be more than happy to edit my review.

Had a wonderful experience with my sister here for dinner, the sushi was delicious and very well sized and the ramen was amazing. I wish I caught our waiter's name so I can give him a shout out, he was so nice and attentive and even offered us better seating at one point. We will definitely return and make this place our new sushi spot.

We have been here a couple of times. This place is really small but the food is really good. It's always busy when we go but haven't had to wait for a seat. I always get th chicken teriyaki bowl and we try to try a different sushi roll each time. The place is clean and well maintained. The prices are not too bad either.

Hubby and I were looking for new sushi place to try and stumbled upon Sushi Love on a Google search. So glad we tried it. some of the freshest and best sushi I’ve ever had - and best I’ve had in Phoenix hands down. Pieces were large and fresh! We went during a weekday lunch and it wasn’t busy. Service was fantastic. Definitely our new go to sushi spot! Read complaints about wait times - if we went during dinner it would be worth the wait. Enjoy some cocktails and apps and chat with company while you wait.

Goood sushi but every time me and my family come here we wait over an hour to get our food. Even the tables that came before us got their food first. Friends have the same experience during the dinner time so I’d say just go somewhere else if you are in a hurry.

My date got his food in twenty minutes. An hr later I finally got my food. Yes the team was kind and nice but that should not have happened
My hamachi kama wasn't cooked thoroughly either which made the wait sad and unappealing. I'll order to go but it's very much not a place I'd eat at again. 😒

This place is amazing. Unassuming in a strip mall, this has to be the best, freshest sushi I've eaten. Certainly beats anything else on the west side of metro phoenix. I can't speak to the east side of the valley as I never want to spend 45 minutes to an hour and a half to head to dinner. My son and his fiance drive here from Mesa, though, because they love it so much. That says a LOT!

The sashimi and every ingredient is so fresh. The quality is impeccable. They have FRESH wasabi. Ask for it! it is amazing and nothing little to nothing like the reconstituted paste (they have that too). I have loved every role, every bit of sashimi that I have had. The Spicy Sauteed Yakj Udon is soooo yummy. I'd eat here every day if my wallet could handle that kind of restaurant love.

Be sure to get the spicy garlic edamame and save any leftover sauce or garlic/chili bits for any rolls you order. I read that in other reviews and it did not disappoint. Also goes well mixed into the Udon, but even better was mixing in just enough of the fresh wasabi. I didn't think it would add to the dish, but the bit of added complexity was amazing!

If you still have room, try the cheesecake tempura. I'm diabetic and it is worth dying for. :)

Walked in on Saturday, November 11th at 9:35pm and the hostes asked if it was just one. When I said yes, she immediately told me that they just did last call and they were not taking any orders anymore. So I simply walked out feeling i was denied service for whatever reason. I will never come back and I will let everyone I know on my social media what happened. The Google hours say they close at 10pm.

A long time Sushi lover looking for authentic Sushi. And I have found my new hot spot for Sushi. The owner who, I believe, hand crafts his Sushi is truly gifted with Art and Culunary blessing. Many of items to choose from ranging from many Sushi to Nagiri, you name it. My first round of Sushi took me by surprised that I just had to order more. Starting of with the Geisha Rolls to the blazing Shrimp. Both were beyond Delicious following with a light up and cheerful atmosphere. This place is perfect for Lovers in Sushi

So I came here for the first time and was drawn in by the reviews. Nobody was lying on them reviews and the Fire is literally lit and taste so good. My waitress is Shailene Woodley (Kayla) was such a great server as well. Man I’m a be back with other friends and my man. I’m down to come back and explore the menu for more items.

Brought my wife here after my son and I had a pleasant experience the first time. Ended up waiting for our sushi order for 45 minutes before they told us that our order wasn't placed in the kitchen. This was after we asked our waiter for the status of our order after seeing customers arriving, ordering, and receiving their food. Worst of all, our waiter (Logan) was not apologetic as one would have hoped. Rather, stating the sushi bar was slow because only one cook was there tonight. I didn't see any issues with the chef keeping up with the flow of customers. I asked for our receipt instead and provided no tip. Sad to say we never plan on coming here again.

This place was a money grab 54.00 flush down the toilet. The ambiance was nice. but I'm not coming back. My daughter's and I wanted to love this place, but the food was gross, and the waitress didn't seem to care. You all need a new chef.
